The Alexandras Community Care team provides expert, flexible care solutions to help people remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes. Care packages can be tailored around each person’s needs, from shorter daily visits through to more complex and ongoing support.
The team can assist with a wide range of care needs, including personal care, washing and dressing, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, dementia care, palliative care and support for people living with more complex health conditions.
Alongside practical care, the St Austell team also understands the importance of social connection and independence. Support may include companionship visits, help with appointments, or getting out into the local community where appropriate.
The Manager is supported by a dedicated team of Team Leaders, Carers and Admin staff, all working together to deliver reliable, person-centred care. Team members receive ongoing training to help ensure care is delivered safely, professionally and with kindness.

Overall appalling. Despite multiple 'feedback' requests for improvement to management and help to the Carers, the same mistakes occurred. Over a year, the service has left us frustrated and deeply disappointed. Although the personal care Mum recieved was good, and the Carers were all very kind; their lack of full training and ability to improve has let them down.
This organisation failed to provide adequate cooking provision as promised., failed to support thieir carers with necessary skills, and like a previous comment kept sending males when asked not to. We would not and cannot recommend them.

We take concerns about consistency and training seriously. Any issues raised with us were escalated through our formal complaints process and reviewed at team level, and the areas where improvements were required were shared with the whole team. On staffing, we always aim to accommodate preferences wherever possible, and we did work to minimise this where we could within the constraints of the care package.

We have listened to your concerns and have discussed the matter and I am afraid that we cannot always accommodate all female carers on a double-handed visit. We have recommended and explained that all service users and their carers/families have the right to ask social services for a new provider that can accommodate female-only carers. We hope you can understand.

The team provided has been great with much empathy with my uncle's dementia as well. Thank you to the team. My uncle can get very confused sometimes but the carer deals with this brilliantly. My auntie gets exhausted with his needs so this care for them both is much needed.
