I have been using Prestige for over a year now to help with my personal care needs. The service from the carers and everyone in the back office has been absolutely outstanding. I am so pleased that I chose Prestige and have recommended them to several people. First class care agency.

We had a meeting with Prestige to review mum's needs, they listened to mum's concerns & what support she felt she needed. My sister & I also were able to contribute to what the care package should consist of.
The ladies that visit mum to help her with various things are so kind, cheerful & professional
- nothing is too much trouble from loading the washing machine, washing up, making meals, to refreshing the dog's water!
The team are the same ladies so that mum knows who's coming & they come at the allotted time, leaving notes about the visit.
Mum really enjoys the visits with the ladies & she always speaks warmly about them.
The office team are just as good, ringing us to say that mum wasn't well & could they do anything to help to being available to visit mum to update the care package.
Since having the team, it has given my sister & I reassurance that mum is able to live independently with extra support. One of the best things we have done to keep mum's independence.

It's hard to review one occasion when every occasion is outstanding!
The service provided by this company is exceptional! Whilst the carer is absolutely fabulous at providing the care my son needs, those behind the scenes (in the office etc) are amazing. We, as a whole family, have never felt so supported.
Because of this company, our lives have seen great improvement. Thank you.

Having moved to the area from Yorkshire, I had no idea of what care was available in Ashby-de-la-Zouch until I came across Prestige. I asked them to come and they did an assessment of our needs and to quote a well-known phrase - it started the ball rolling. In all my dealings over the months with Prestige,
I have found them to be very professional and efficient to cater for my needs relating to my wife. All in all, would I use them again? Yes.

My husband's care was providing too much for me and my health was suffering so I decided I needed help with managing his routine. Carers now come 5 times a week to get him up, wash him and give him breakfast etc. They then clean the bedroom and the bathroom and put clean linen on the bed. If they have
time they will help and tidy the kitchen. Your staff always show compassion, treat him with kindness and keep safe his dignity.

Prestige cared for my mum for 2 years. They supported her to live independently in her own home. The morning visits they would go for a walk with her and made sure she was set up for the day ahead, making her bed and a sandwich for her lunch. The evening visit, they helped her shower safely and made
sure her home was secure for the night. Prestige also organised for a carer to take her to doctors and hospital appointments, sometimes at short notice. Mum, who was a retired nurse, appreciated their care very much. The carers were lovely and treated Mum with dignity and respect. I am a nurse myself and live some distance away from Mum felt confident in their care, I cannot fault their service and highly recommend them. A big thank you to all.

Prestige Nursing & Care (Leicestershire)have been going to my elderly friend for about six years. She is 92 now and her needs have significantly changed in the last year. We had a sudden and dramatic change last week in the care that she requires. The prestige office and caregivers going out to her
last week was incredible the support and assistance were amazing. Getting in touch with outside agencies ie occupational therapists and community therapists to get the equipment that we need to care for her. So this has enabled her to still live and be cared for in her home. Once again you have all gone above and beyond to help myself and her. Would definitely recommend prestige to care for my loved one.

We live a considerable distance from my mother-in-law. It was therefore a worry when she sustained an injury and mobility issues, so we arranged additional support via Prestige. My mother-in-law became unwell due to entirely unrelated conditions and the team from Prestige looked after her needs, alerted
us to the changes in her condition and assisted in arranging medical help. The team have responded quickly to requests for additional support and have eased our worries.

After a number of spells in hospital and on release, needing some care help, someone kindly put me in touch with Prestige Nursing + Care, it was the best decision I ever made. The care that I get is second to none, I am always treated with the utmost respect and care and nothing is too much trouble.
The carers have always gone the extra mile to make sure I am happy with what they do. I have been looked after by other care companies and did not get the standard of care that I get with Prestige Nursing + Care. I could and always do recommend them to others.

We don't know how we would have managed without the lovely and very caring team at Prestige. The hour-long sessions mean that mum is never rushed. She has been totally bedbound for almost 2 years now and she has never had a single bedsore thanks to the skilful care and vigilance of the wonderful ladies
who look after her so well. Thank you Prestige!

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.917 for Prestige Nursing & Care (Leicestershire) is calculated as follows: ( (33 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 4.917

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Prestige Nursing & Care (Leicestershire) is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 = 4.55
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Branch Manager Joined: 2019

I'm Will, and I have worked in care since 2009, when I started as a Care Assistant in a Care Home supporting those with learning disabilities. Since then, I have worked within Supported Living, Domiciliary, and Complex Care and started working for Prestige in 2019 as the Branch Manager for the Derby Branch. In 2024, I moved to the Leicestershire Branch and have loved my time here.

I am incredibly proud that we have achieved an Outstanding rating with CQC in September 2025 and look forward to continuing to provide the best care possible for our clients.

I love learning something new every day and am lucky to be surrounded by a team of amazing colleagues who each bring their own experience and knowledge to their respective roles. Learning from them to improve the lives of our clients and carer colleagues is so satisfying.

Job Title: Field Care Manager Joined: 2019

I'm Luci, and I've worked in care for over 10 years. I started off as a Domiciliary Carer and have worked in Dementia Care Homes as well.

I joined Prestige with the Leicester Branch in 2019, working with both Domiciliary and Complex clients before moving into the office and becoming a Field Care Supervisor and, finally, a Field Care Manager. I held this role in the Derby Branch from early 2023 and rejoined the Leicester Branch later that year.

My favourite thing about my role is seeing the difference we make, especially when someone is going through something particularly challenging. I enjoy advocating for people that struggle to navigate the health and social care system, and the different professionals involved.

My name is Leanna, and I've worked in care for around 20 years. I began as a carer and worked up to being a Branch Manager before going on maternity leave. I have since joined Prestige as a carer and then became a Field Care Supervisor.

I love doing the job I do and seeing the difference it makes to people's lives. I will always go out of my way to help people and always do my best. I came out of care for a short while when I had my son, but it just wasn't for me!

Job Title: Care Planner Joined: 2018

I'm Sarah, and I live with my 4 children (3 grown up!) and my menagerie of animals. I have worked as a carer for Prestige since 2018 and became the Care Planner in Late 2021.

As a carer, I worked in Domiciliary Care as well as Support Worker packages and loved the variety of work I did, getting to know the people I cared for, and learning new skills. It was during this time that I achieved my Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.

I now look after the rotas for the Branch and am normally the first point of contact when you get in touch. Rotas can be a challenge at times, but it's great when it all comes together, and people get the care they need.

Natalie

Natalie Kent

Job Title: Complex Care Nurse Joined: 2019

I'm Nat, and I've worked in care since the age of 16. I was a Care Assistant in a Nursing Home before going to university, where I qualified as a Paediatric Nurse in 2004. I have worked in Children's Hospitals on various wards, including Burns, Plastics, and Orthopaedics, Neurology, and General Medical wards, before moving onto a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 14 years, nursing the region's sickest and smallest infants.

My favourite part of my role is visiting our inspirational clients and their families, working closely with our amazing complex trained colleagues who are often providing intensive complex care. These carers are at the heart of what we do, and it's a real pleasure to lead them; I could not do my role without them.
