Prestige Nursing & Care (Ashby-de-la-Zouch)

Prestige are fulfilling a very important role as personal assistants/care assistants to our aunt who has particular needs, covering the weekends. This is an important part of the support network and plan for our aunt, helping to provide care support for those days and filling an important part of that plan, ensuring daily cover as part of a weekly plan. They also provide cover when necessary to our other private carers, covering Mondays to Fridays and particular times of year, such as Christmas. The service and care that they give is excellent. The carers are friendly, polite, professional, kind, understanding, patient and tactful. They take their duties very seriously and always work towards my aunt's needs. We don't want to single out any particular carers, because they are all very good, they work well as a team and all contribute to our aunt's care. Management are very good, extremely helpful and understanding, friendly and approachable, very committed and well organised.

The Prestige team supported Dad all through 2025, with daily visits of about 3 hours. Dad had been diagnosed with terminal kidney cancer in 2024 and sadly passed away in January 2026.

The support from the Prestige team was nothing short of excellent. Will and the team put together a great team of carers and they became much more than carers but friends to Dad and us a family. I couldn't speak highly enough of the quality of the carers. I would like to particularly thank Pippa, Kim, Nikki, Lisa and Sab.

We have used Prestige Care for our son for over 5 years. They have always been very supportive and understanding as a care company. They consistently work with us to get the best for the client, our adult son. They respond to queries promptly, altered care packages when needs have changed and managed everything with ease and as little stress to ourselves and our son as possible. The have matched care workers exceptionally well to our son, care workers that have always managed his needs, even when he has been more challenging, with calm, kindness and understanding. The office staff are always efficient and management regularly support with paperwork and attendance for meetings when needed, invaluable with the stresses of looking after a loved one. It makes such a difference to know you can always rely on them for support and they have the best interest of our son at heart. Everyone benefits because they care.

They were polite, courteous & really listened to us with regards to needs & concerns, looking back we were silly to have any concerns they've certainly delivered everything they promised and go above & beyond and that's just the office any problems are dealt with quickly & efficiently. The ladies that visit (with a special mention to Laura) are always friendly, caring & professional, nothing is too much trouble but most importantly they LISTEN & that makes a massive difference to a person living with dementia. Prestige have been going to my mum for almost a year now and we as a family are very pleased with the whole package. The carers are very friendly and polite when giving care to my mum. They always arrive at the agreed time, and stay for the full amount of time. They go above and beyond to ensure that my mum is happy and has everything she needs to hand, and have even stayed past the allocated time on the odd occasion if necessary. Mum often says how lovely the carers are. The office staff are also excellent and keep in touch on a regular basis. They have also arranged extra care visits for mum when we've needed them. Thanks to Prestige, my mum still has independence in her own home, and I would highly recommend them.

The service provided by this company is exceptional! Whilst the carer is absolutely fabulous at providing the care my son needs, those behind the scenes (in the office etc) are amazing. Having moved to the area from Yorkshire, I had no idea of what care was available in Ashby-de-la-Zouch until I came across Prestige. I asked them to come and they did an assessment of our needs and to quote a well-known phrase - it started the ball rolling. In all my dealings over the months with Prestige, I have found them to be very professional and efficient to cater for my needs relating to my wife. All in all, would I use them again? Yes.

My husband's care was providing too much for me and my health was suffering so I decided I needed help with managing his routine. Carers now come 5 times a week to get him up, wash him and give him breakfast etc. They then clean the bedroom and the bathroom and put clean linen on the bed. If they have time they will help and tidy the kitchen. Your staff always show compassion, treat him with kindness and keep safe his dignity.

Prestige cared for my mum for 2 years. They supported her to live independently in her own home. The morning visits they would go for a walk with her and made sure she was set up for the day ahead, making her bed and a sandwich for her lunch. The evening visit, they helped her shower safely and made sure her home was secure for the night. Prestige also organised for a carer to take her to doctors and hospital appointments, sometimes at short notice. Mum, who was a retired nurse, appreciated their care very much. The carers were lovely and treated Mum with dignity and respect. I am a nurse myself and live some distance away from Mum felt confident in their care, I cannot fault their service and highly recommend them. A big thank you to all.

Prestige Nursing & Care (Leicestershire)have been going to my elderly friend for about six years. She is 92 now and her needs have significantly changed in the last year. We had a sudden and dramatic change last week in the care that she requires. The prestige office and caregivers going out to her last week was incredible the support and assistance were amazing. Getting in touch with outside agencies ie occupational therapists and community therapists to get the equipment that we need to care for her. So this has enabled her to still live and be cared for in her home. Once again you have all gone above and beyond to help myself and her. Would definitely recommend prestige to care for my loved one.

Personally, I have been with Prestige Nursing for a number of years and I have found them very caring, kind, and thoughtful. In fact, I think they are excellent. They are always punctual and look after me well.

We live a considerable distance from my mother-in-law. It was therefore a worry when she sustained an injury and mobility issues, so we arranged additional support via Prestige. My mother-in-law became unwell due to entirely unrelated conditions and the team from Prestige looked after her needs, alerted us to the changes in her condition and assisted in arranging medical help. The team have responded quickly to requests for additional support and have eased our worries.

My wife died last Saturday from Motor Neurone Disease. The professionalism from Prestige Nursing & Care (Leicestershire) looking after her has been outstanding, The admin team have both been amazing and tried to make her life more pleasant with continuous care. The carers have been absolutely brilliant. So kind and dedicated to her. It's been first class. Thank you. I cannot thank you enough for your help during this awful time for my wife of 60 years.

I have been using Prestige Nursing & Care for three years the carers are very qualified and are good at their job but communication with the office could be better. Overall, I am very happy with the care that I receive.
