Q Care Ltd (Cwm Taf)

One of the best care agencies that has looked after my mother. All of the staff are courteous, friendly and completely professional in their approach to care. With the help of Q care, I am able to continue with the other aspects of my life without having to worry about my mother all of the time. I am delighted with all aspects of Q Care and their team.

Very engaging, well mannered and pleasant staff. Always willing to help and they provide all the support and assistance I need. Excellent service that enables me to remain as independent as I possibly can.

We are delighted with this very reliable and professional service. The carers are very friendly and offer very valued support.

The care has greatly improved from when mum first started with Q Care, however, I am concerned about lockdown and would like to ask do you have facilities in place to have staff tested on a fortnightly basis as I know that this happens in carehomes.

I have used Q Care since my stroke in 1997. Have had many different carers over the years. Met many good and caring workers some with whom I formed quite a few friendships (whilst still keeping my care professional).

It does what it says on the box.

I would be unable to cope without my carers.

My father and I felt let down and disappointed by the care provided by Q care for my mother. Carers were frequently late, up to 1 1/2 hours with no communication to inform us, this increased anxiety to both parents. On some occasions, we had to cancel the carers due to this ongoing problem and provide personal care ourselves.

On one occasion an administration team member arrived in her suit to provide personal care due to a shortage of staff. Many a time staff required direction on how to provide personal care. Documentation entered into patient notes were not always accurate. We requested an itemized bill and are still waiting.

On a positive note, there were 2 carers who were dedicated and excellent in their role but sadly this wasn't enough to continue care with Q care.

Very reliable, well organised. The night sitting service is very good.
