I needed emergency home care due to suffering compression fractures in my spine, someone came to assess me and the next day care was in place. I felt it was a professional service, with a full medical history being taken and all my requirements were noted. The health care assistants that attended were
professional and caring. I would recommend Q-Care to any of my relatives and friends, if they were in need of this type of care.

Absolutely appalling, unprofessional and incompetent management.

shows their real incompetence and unprofessionalism.
Management did not acknowledge my last email, but 24 hours later they withdrew care support to my 86-year-old mother-in-law, who has dementia, apparently, this was a "management decision" It is now 22:15 hours and I have just spent the last 7 hours trying to arrange care for my mother-in-law. This is all down to the uncaring, unprofessional and incompetent management, who choose to suppress concerns rather than discuss them in a transparent and professional manner. I wish to emphasise that the issues were not about the actual carers who attended my mother-in-law's home, they were exceptional and professional at all times.

My mother and I were initially a little worried about how my father would react to having carers coming into the house to look after him, as he became highly anxious after his stroke. However, we didn't need to worry, as the carers have all been very kind and treated my dad well. He is now very relaxed
with all the carers and even looks forward to seeing them. I cannot recommend the carers enough. A fantastic and professional team.

So far this year a vast improvement, but still issues with the time slot moving from the original agreed. The excuse is that the change to the time is on our rota, but not always getting a rota does not help. The staff are very helpful, friendly and polite.

Q Care (Aberystwyth Area) continue to provide a professional and quality service for my father. When there's a need for information or advice from them, it particularly helps that they are an easily accessible provider. Also, the availability of a core hours on-call number means any real-time issue
can be addressed effectively. All of the above means that Dad is able to continue in supported living in his own home, as is his wish. Thank you!

Q Care visit my Mother-in-law twice a day, morning and evening. They are always on time and on the one occasion they were going to be late, they rang me to let me know. The staff that we have are so lovely but extremely professional and caring, never rushed and always take time to have a chat before
leaving. I really didn’t think my Mother-in-law would take to this package at the age of 95 but she looks forward to them coming and speaks highly of each Carer.

I have had a very good experience with Q Care this year. In my initial review before being taken on by Q Care I outlined my requirements. I asked that I have younger carers as I am quite young myself. I also asked that I have the same people coming to me each week so that I can get to know them and
have consistency of care. The staff in the office have always been very approachable and have always done everything they can to meet my needs. When I phone, the staff are always very polite and courteous. In regards to the carers, they have all been very friendly and approachable, I have always felt comfortable to ask for what I need. They have all been very helpful and have always been very positive and open minded to my disability. My experience has been very positive with Q Care, this is very much appreciated and makes such a difference to my quality of life.

I have used the services of Q Care on many occasions over the last year or so. While I took my father to hospital appointments Q Care carers came in to look after my mother who has Dementia. The carers were very professional, but also so kind and patient. My mother really enjoyed spending time with
the girls and I was reassured that my mother was in safe hands. I cannot recommend the company highly enough.

I am extremely pleased with the care I receive from Q Care carers. They use the PPE provided and are kind and thoughtful. They can all use the ceiling hoist which makes getting on and off the bed and into my wheelchair much easier. I do my washing on a Saturday and the carer who is on at lunchtime will
straighten and turn it for me.

The care has greatly improved from when mum first started with Q Care, however, I am concerned about lockdown and would like to ask do you have facilities in place to have staff tested on a fortnightly basis as I know that this happens in carehomes.

I have used Q Care since my stroke in 1997. Have had many different carers over the years. Met many good and caring workers some with whom I formed quite a few friendships (whilst still keeping my care professional).
