Linda began her career in healthcare after qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1978. Driven by her passion for supporting individuals with care needs, she founded Sherbutt Residential Services Ltd in 1989, laying the foundations for the organisation’s strong reputation and family-centred ethos.

In 2010, Linda transitioned into a non-executive role, allowing her four children to take on key responsibilities in the day-to-day management of the business. This shift enabled her to focus on her personal interests while remaining closely connected to the company’s strategic direction.

Outside of her professional achievements, Linda enjoys travelling and playing golf, pursuing the hobbies she loves while continuing to provide guidance and support to the organisation she founded.

Darren, the eldest of the triplets, serves as the Finance Director and has been part of Sherbutt Residential Services since 2010. He oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including reporting, forecasting, and cash management, ensuring the business remains financially strong and strategically positioned for continued growth.

Before joining the family business, Darren worked as an Assistant Accountant for Gamestation, gaining valuable experience in financial processes and commercial operations before the company’s acquisition by Game.

Outside of his professional role, Darren enjoys keeping active at the gym, playing sports, walking his dog, and travelling with his family.

Shelley, the youngest of the triplets, joined the family business in August 2005 after beginning her career in the travel industry. Since then, she has played a key role in the development and progression of Sherbutt Residential Services, bringing fresh ideas and strong leadership to the organisation.

Shelley has achieved an NVQ Level 4 in Business, further strengthening her expertise and enabling her to drive the company forward with confidence and innovation. Her commitment and strategic insight continue to support the long-term growth and success of the service.

Outside of work, Shelley enjoys spending quality time with her family and travelling on holidays.

Leigh joined the organisation in 2001 and has since built a strong career within the company. She completed her Nursing Diploma in 2006, followed by achieving her NVQ Level 4, which enabled her to become the Registered Home Care Manager. Through dedication and continued professional development, Leigh has progressed into the role of Home Care Director, where she oversees the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across the service.

Her leadership, experience, and commitment ensure that service users receive consistent, safe, and compassionate support tailored to their individual needs.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Leigh enjoys going to the gym and spending quality time with her family.

Craig has been a valued member of the organisation since 2009. As a Director, he takes a hands-on approach to his role, working directly on the shop floor to support day-to-day operations and ensure high standards across the service. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Craig provides training on the company’s digital systems, helping staff develop the skills needed to work efficiently and confidently.

His practical experience, commitment, and approachable leadership style contribute significantly to the smooth running of the organisation.

Outside of work, Craig enjoys football, staycations, karaoke, and spending quality time with his family.

Peter, husband to Linda, has played a vital role in maintaining all of the organisation’s properties to the highest standards over many years. His dedication, practical expertise, and attention to detail have ensured that every environment remains safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Now in semi-retirement, Peter divides his time between Spain and the UK while continuing to support the maintenance needs of the business. Outside of his professional contributions, he can often be found on the golf course or out cycling—especially in the Spanish sunshine. When in the UK, he enjoys supporting Sheffield United.
