Support can include:
- Personal care: washing, bathing, toileting, dressing
- Medication administration and health-related routines
- Getting up, settling for the night, and overnight monitoring
- Meal preparation and nutrition support
- Community access, activities, education and day opportunities
- Holiday schemes and short breaks for children with SEND
- Light household tasks, shopping and home management
- Companionship and emotional support
For individuals with complex needs, Special People provides highly trained staff experienced in autism, behaviours of concern, communication needs, physical disabilities and complex health conditions. They work closely with families, schools, therapists, and clinical teams to deliver care that is safe, dignified and person-centred.
All staff are carefully recruited, fully trained, referenced and enhanced DBS checked, with ongoing supervision and development. Their attention to detail, reliability and strong partnership approach set them apart. By listening to what matters most and maintaining clear communication, they enable people to live well, maintain independence and thrive in the comfort of their own homes and local communities.
