Job Title: CEO & Owner Joined: 2019

As the Owner and CEO of Special People Ltd, I lead a dedicated organisation committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care across London and the surrounding areas. With a strong foundation built over nearly 30 years, Special People has grown into a trusted care provider known for reliability, compliance, and genuine compassion.

Since stepping into this leadership role, I’ve focused on continuing the legacy and values established by our founder, Julie Skinner, who led with heart, resilience, and vision. Today, I’m proud to carry that legacy forward, enhancing services, streamlining operations, and building a future-ready organisation capable of adapting to the evolving needs of clients, commissioners, and the wider community.

Our mission is to provide tailored support to children, young adults, and elderly individuals with additional needs, learning disabilities, complex health needs, and social challenges. We do this by investing in our people, maintaining full regulatory compliance, and building strong, long-term partnerships with local authorities, NHS bodies, and private clients.

As a leader, I’m passionate about:

- Strengthening systems for growth and sustainability

- Driving quality improvement and accountability

- Ensuring fair pay and ethical practices across the workforce

- Expanding access to innovative and holistic care

I’m always open to connecting with like-minded professionals, care commissioners, partners, and innovators who share a vision for better health and social care services in the UK.
