SureCare (Preston & South Ribble, Fylde & Wyre) Reviews (4)
Over all time SureCare (Preston & South Ribble, Fylde & Wyre) has 4 reviews.
SureCare have provided care for my mother for the last few years and are a very reliable care firm. All the carers are friendly and caring and treat us with respect. They have done a very good job, especially under difficult circumstances over the last 12 months.
I am really happy with SureCare. They provide excellent service to my husband and myself. Nothing is too much trouble. The carers are like part of the family. The management is amazing too, always there to help and listen. My husband is challenging at times, but they treat him with respect and dignity. I do not know what we would do without them; my SureCare angles.
Good communication and staff are smart and on time, good listeners.
Myself and Dad would be lost without them.

Meet the Team (4)

My name is Helen Townson, and I’m the Care Manager here at SureCare Preston & South Ribble. With over 19 years of experience in the care sector, I’ve had the privilege of growing through a variety of roles — starting as a care worker, progressing to Senior in 2008, then Supervisor in 2009, Care Coordinator, and finally Care Manager. Every step of that journey has shaped who I am today, and I truly wouldn’t change a thing. Care has always been more than a job to me — it’s something I’m deeply passionate about.
I’m dedicated to ensuring that both our Service Users and our Care Staff feel supported, valued, and listened to every single day. My commitment goes far beyond the practical side of care; I believe in creating an environment where our team feels confident, encouraged, and able to thrive. When our carers feel supported, they’re able to deliver the exceptional care our Service Users deserve — and that’s something I work hard to uphold. When individuals first enquire about our services, I take the time to understand their needs fully and make sure we can support them in a way that feels personal and meaningful. I want their introduction to SureCare to feel warm, reassuring, and positive — like they’re joining a team that genuinely cares. You’ll often see me out in the community carrying out initial assessments, ensuring that every person receives the right support from the very beginning.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of our ever-growing team. I truly believe we offer something special — not just in the care we provide, but in the way we support one another behind the scenes. It means so much to me that, together, we help people stay in their own homes for as long as possible. That’s the kind of impact that makes this work so meaningful, and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.

My name is Katrina Turner, and I’m the Registered Manager at SureCare Preston & South Ribble. I’ve spent over 21 years working in the care sector, across a variety of settings, and I can honestly say that supporting people is more than just my career — it’s something I genuinely love. I joined SureCare as Registered Manager in June 2026, and from day one I’ve been passionate about making sure both our Service Users and our Care Staff feel valued, supported, and listened to every single day.
When someone first reaches out to us, I make it a priority to spend time getting to know them properly. Understanding their needs, their routines, and what truly matters to them helps us make sure we can offer the right support. I want every person who joins us — whether as a Service User or a member of staff — to feel like they’re becoming part of the SureCare family. That transition should feel smooth, reassuring, and even enjoyable.
I’m often the face people see first: carrying out initial assessments, welcoming new carers into the team, and checking in regularly with our wonderful staff. I work closely with Helen, our Care Manager, and together we’re committed to delivering the highest standard of care while making sure our team feels supported throughout their journey with us.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of our ever-growing team. I genuinely couldn’t imagine working anywhere else — I truly believe we offer something special. It means a lot to me that, as a team, we help people remain in their own homes for as long as possible. That’s something worth being proud of.

My name is Tia Sawyer, and I’m the Senior Care Coordinator here at SureCare Preston & South Ribble. I’ve been working in the care sector for over six years, and although my journey began in 2023 as a carer, I quickly discovered how much I loved supporting both Service Users and staff. I worked my way up to Senior in early 2024 and became a Care Coordinator in 2026 — a progression I’m incredibly proud of. Every step has shaped the way I work today: with passion, empathy, and a real drive to make a difference.
I’m committed to spending time with individuals when they first enquire about our services, making sure we fully understand their needs and can support them in the best possible way. That first introduction to SureCare should feel warm, reassuring, and positive — like joining a family. I love being part of that experience.
You’ll often see me out in the community carrying out initial assessments and service user reviews, making sure our support remains consistent, personalised, and genuinely helpful. Behind the scenes, I work closely on carer rotas, ensuring the right carer is in the right place at the right time. It’s a role that requires organisation, intuition, and a lot of heart — and I thrive on it.
I’m proud to be part of our ever-growing team. I truly believe we offer something special, and it means so much to me that, together, we help people stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Being part of that journey — and seeing the difference it makes — is exactly why I love what I do.

My name is Amanda Pinder, and I’m the Senior Care Coordinator here at SureCare Preston & South Ribble. I’ve worked in the care sector for over 20 years, and throughout that time I’ve learned just how important it is to truly understand people — their routines, their personalities, and what makes them feel safe and supported. I joined the SureCare team in 2026, and it’s been a place where my passion for care has really been able to shine.
I’m dedicated to making sure both our Service Users and our Care Staff feel supported every single day. When someone first gets in touch about our services, I take the time to sit with them, listen, and make sure we can meet their needs fully. I want their first steps into the SureCare family to feel reassuring, smooth, and positive.
You’ll often find me out in the community carrying out initial assessments and service user reviews, making sure we’re delivering the right support at the right time. Behind the scenes, I work closely with Tia to coordinate carer rotas — making sure the right carer is in the right place at the right moment. It’s a role that requires a lot of care, attention, and teamwork, and I genuinely enjoy it.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of our ever-growing team. I truly believe we offer something special, and it means so much to me that, together, we help people stay in their own homes for as long as possible. That’s the kind of impact that makes this work so meaningful.
