Woodford Homecare

I have been fortunate to have benefitted from the excellent, loving care that I have received from all the staff of Woodford Homecare and Support Services. They have helped to look after me for many months now and I could not have managed my daily life without their wonderful carers who have attended to all my needs, due to my age and disabilities, with love, gentleness, care and the utmost efficiency. I am eternally indebted to them all and offer them all my gratitude and love.

Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. I feel I can discuss care/changes to care/personal needs/concerns/ talk to someone about other issues i.e., hospital visits. Inform me of any changes to care i.e., time of visit when necessary. Receive schedule of who will be visiting for each call and let me know in advance if there are any changes to this.

I look forward to my calls, morning and evening and enjoy every one. The advice from the coordinator is very helpful.

My mother felt totally at ease with the carers. They arrived on time, ensured she had taken her medication, and her food. My mother is very forgetful and doesn’t remember to take her medication or have regular meals. All the members of staff I have come in contact with are very professional and caring people. Having the carers there whilst we were on holiday gave me tremendous peace of mind. I would thoroughly recommend Woodford Homecare. Thank you.

My husband has four visits a day and we have found the Woodford Homecare & Support Services very reliable and helpful. As there are a lot of visits we have quite a large team of people visiting, but they are a consistent team. They come on time and they do all that is needed in a conscientious way. Each one of the people coming in is kind and caring and they are always friendly and pleasant. They encourage my husband to do what he can and help him to stand. They take an interest in him as a person and have built up good relationships with him. I find their presence reassuring and feel very grateful to them. The office staff are also very helpful and pleasant; they consult us if arrangements have to be changed for any unusual reason and they are also happy to meet any requests from us.

As a lorry driver, I had to get a care company that I could trust to look after my partner, I was offered a choice by social services and chose Woodford Homecare, I was a little worried about leaving my partner when I went back to work, I didn't need to worry then and don't worry now, I trust all of the carers completely and have never regretted a single moment, my partner has progressed in leaps and bounds. Thank you all.

I would most definitely recommend the team at WHC to anyone looking for care for an elderly relative. Neither my mum or I could have survived very difficult times without this support.
