I cannot recommend Family Homecare enough, all staff are friendly and helpful. My mum has been using the services of Family Homecare since 2021, initially having one carer twice a day and currently two carers four times a day. The carers are very attentive, kind, considerate and respectful. If there are any problems with Mum I am informed straight away. Mum has spent time on and off in hospital recently, care has always been reinstated immediately when requested putting my mind at ease.

The client and I are very happy with the manner of care received. As I live with the client, I take on the majority of her care but it's a lot of my responsibility knowing that she will be thoroughly washed given the amount of time she spends in bed these days. Admittedly the service has gotten a little more expensive of late (hasn't everything though?); but familiarity with an individual carer and knowing the professional and reliable team behind her, makes for a good all round experience when visiting my mother.

I can thoroughly recommend Family Homecare to anyone looking for care for their loved one.

I have been with Family Homecare for some time and all the ladies who care for me are without exception, respectful, caring and treat me with dignity. I cannot fault any of the carers provided by Family Homecare Ltd. The management is very good and easily contactable if needs be. My overall opinion of Family Homecare is of a well-run company, with a very caring and excellent number of ladies.

I have always had very good and kind help from all the staff. They do an excellent job - cheerfully even when very difficult. Thank you for all of them but please train new members more so that don't get offended or leave clients irritated because they have no idea how to help us. My wife has been bedbound for a considerable time now. Carers from Family Homecare come each day to wash and change her. Unless they encounter problems with an earlier client they are always very punctual, if they do have a rare problem, we usually get a call from the office to make us aware. Other than during sickness or holiday seasons the carers who attend to my wife are the same people. Over time we have got to know them quite well. They chat about their families and what they have been doing and we have a very good relationship. They are very kind, gentle and thorough when dealing with my wife and she thinks very highly of them I have no hesitation in recommending Family Homecare

Over the past year my mother has had a carer from Family Homecare and since discharge from the hospital in October 2023 has had two carers four times a day visiting her at home. The care given has been good with carers attending on time and on the rare occasions where there was a staffing difficulty the family were warned in ample time in advance. The care included looking after my mother who had become doubly incontinent, moving her from the bed to a chair and vice versa with a hoist and assistance with feeding. The carers were good at noticing and recording potential problems in advance and ensuring the District Nurse attended before the potential problem became a real problem. I would specifically like to thank three carers who showed great concern with my mother and ensured a high level of Care. Family Homecare also made it possible for my mother to be cared for in her own home in familiar surroundings, well done Family Homecare.

I have had experience with other care companies and I can honestly say that the staff at Family Homecare are wonderful and as a company are the very best I have come across. My mother-in-law has been cared for by a team of carers who have taken such excellent care of all her needs with kindness and always with a smile. As a family, we could not have asked for more. Thank you all so very much and in particular, the three carers who regularly looked after my mum-in-law; you are amazing, and I will never forget what wonderful, kind and caring people you are thank you.

Family Homecare looked after our mother providing care, initially twice a day to four times a day. Prior to using Family Homecare, we had used two other care companies, everything about Family Homecare excelled in comparison. The carers are sincere, kind, thoughtful and enjoy what they do. They are positive, smile and brought happiness on their visits. If they noticed anything about our mother they would bring it to our attention, i.e. what would make her life better, or to food she liked or didn't enjoy. Any sign of an issue would contact the District Nurse to visit. Looked to prevent before an issue arose. Reliable, carers always turned up, no issues throughout the years we dealt with them. The carers are excellent and so too is their office. Easy, friendly to deal with. Contactable outside office hours via phone, text and email. Responding in a quick efficient manner. If you are looking for a good, caring company to look after a loved one, I would highly recommend Family Homecare.

After a bad experience with a previous company, I honestly couldn't ask for anything more from Family Homecare.
