I have been a customer of Bluebird Care for 15 years. I have cerebral palsy and have social care through the 'Direct Payment' scheme. Without Bluebird I would be unable to access medical appointments and the local community. I have limited family support and so greatly value the continuity of Bluebird's friendly, caring staff. I have been encouraged to attend their monthly 'Out & About' day trips which has given me the chance to visit different places and meet other service users. In today's world, a lot of care is about getting the job done in as little time as possible, Bluebird always take the time to talk to you and to do things properly. Their visits brighten my day and help me cope with day to day life.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Jill. We have enjoyed many years together! We are delighted you are also benefitting from the Out & About trips. Best wishes.
I was very reluctant to accept care, the actual carers have been capable and pleasant. In the future I realise I will be looked after.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, we are delighted you feel confident in our care.
For almost 9 years, Bluebird have been caring for my disabled elderly mum. They came to our rescue when we needed help the most and since then they've consistently acted with dedication, professionalism, reliability, empathy and consideration in their work. Among many other things, I've been particularly impressed by their willingness to look beyond "one-size-fits-all" solutions for the client. Over the years they've worked tirelessly with us all to make their service work for mum - listening to her needs, suggesting solutions, and communicating with the family. As well as providing physical care, their array of fantastic carers bring a huge social boost, never falling to brighten mum's day on their visits. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird to anyone looking for at-home care. They have delivered time and again and are a truly trusted partner in mum's everyday life at home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review. It is a privilege to be part of your mum's care. With best wishes Sophie
Bluebird Care are a wonderful team who have befriended my mother, supported her when she needed help and are so responsive when I ask them for help. They are very proactive and regularly call me to update her. Their monthly out and about visits provide social and mental stimulation for my mother. Thank you to the whole team
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review, we are so pleased especially that your mother enjoys the Out and About visits. With very best wishes
The care is bespoke, taking into consideration both Mum's opinions and choices whilst also balancing what she needs. The carers respect her dignity, and skillfully negotiate when she needs support but feels unable to ask for it. We have had a wide variety of support, from ensuring she has a hot drink and is eating meals, being there when hospital transport is picking her up to help keep things calm, enjoying craft activities and helping to keep on top of the washing. The carers are a safety net that not only help to keep Mum safe and healthy, they also give me peace of mind and the calm, experienced voice on the end of the phone as Mum's changing needs bring new challenges, always has a reassuring solution focused response.
Thank you so much for taking the time wo write us a review. It is a privilege to look after your mum. With very best wishes
I cannot recommend Bluebird highly enough. All carers were supportive, responsible, compassionate and professional. Bluebird's policy of sending the same regular carer each week where possible enabled a strong relationship of mutual trust to build up. Carers were happy undertaking a wide range of personal and household tasks, and always did so cheerfully and in a committed and thorough way. We were also really impressed at the speed of Bluebird's response when my dad's health declined suddenly leaving him in need of extra personal care support; this was put in place within 24 hours.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have passed on your kind compliments to the team. Best wishes to you all.
The process of setting up an account with Bluebird was clear and efficient. Our account manager visited and explained the entire process to my Father including all costs. We had a number of different carers but they were all excellent and provided a very personal care. Our account manager continued to provide support and in my opinion 'went beyond'.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It has been a pleasure to work with you all and support Dad. Best wishes.
I would encourage anyone considering using carers to put Bluebird at the top of the list. They have made a huge difference to us as a family and enabled my parents to remain in their own home. We will be forever grateful for their support.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It really helps more people navigate their way to good care providers in what can be very stressful times for families and loved ones. It is our pleasure to support you all. Fantastic to hear that our work in partnership with healthcare is helping to reach more people. Very best wishes from us all at Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick.
Bluebird Care are absolutely brilliant! They are the exact type of people you want to look after your loved ones and become an extension of the family. From management to the staff on the ground, they are faultless. They have been caring for my grandparents for a number of months now and it has been a game changer. In stressful situations or medical emergencies, they have been on hand to step in and make sure they are both safe and get the medical attention they have needed. The communication is excellent, the out of hours service is responsive, they provide solutions almost instantly and are happy to step up whenever needed. I have witnessed the carers be incredibly passionate, patient and kind. This is consistent across the board. It is not an easy job by any means and our family is so grateful for you. I would have no hesitation recommending Bluebird to anyone. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for your review, we have been delighted to support your grandparents and all the family. It describes our service so well and everything we strive to achieve in our support. Best wishes.
My mum used Bluebird Care for over a year and I can highly recommend them. All the staff were extremely professional and were very friendly and helpful. They did a lot to help my mum and she appreciated this plus the company. Bluebird was also very quick to contact me if there was a problem and was very flexible with the schedule. We could not have managed without them. Thank you!
Thank you very much for sharing your recommendation with others. You are all so welcome and we were all so fond of your late mum and will miss her greatly. It was lovely to support her and all of you. All best wishes.
We have been very impressed with the quality of care and time spent with her.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a glowing review, Sarah. We understand how complex it can be when you are looking for a great provider. It is a joy to work with you all. We will be sure to pass on all compliments to our team. Best wishes.
Bluebird are very good. All staff are very polite, cheerful and happy. They are helpful and do anything asked of them.
Thank you for your review of our service, it is much appreciated, and we will share the great feedback with our team. Best wishes.
If the carer has any concerns I get a call and even when Mum (who has dementia), says she doesn’t need any help the carer gently coaxes her to eat.
Fortunately for Mum, she took a particular liking to one of the ladies and Bluebird then scheduled this same carer to Mum every day which helped massively with Mum's acceptance of needing help.
Unfortunately Mum became unsafe at home and we made the difficult decision to move her into full-time residential care but I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird to look after a loved one.
Thank you for leaving your review, we were so happy to help and send our continued best wishes to all the family.
Bluebird provided short-term company and care for my mum whilst I was away and we were delighted. The coordination and set-up was excellent and Bluebird were flexible around what we needed. Mum was nervous about having people in her home but the same two ladies visited her each day and were so kind and easy to get along with that she was happy from the start. It was a huge relief for me to know that someone was looking in on her and that it worked out so well for mum.
Thank you for leaving us lovely feedback, it was a real pleasure to support Mum and we are really pleased it worked so well for you both. We will be sure to share your compliments with our team. With all best wishes.
She has the same two ladies most of the time which has allowed my mum to make good relationships with them and given her a friendly face to talk to/get to know.
The agency have also sorted/helped out with equipment needs, when they see the need.
Thank you for your review. I am pleased to read great feedback and will be sure to share it with the team.
My mum used Bluebird for several months and I can highly recommend them. All the staff were extremely professional and exceptionally friendly and helpful. They did a lot to help my mum and she appreciated this plus the company. For me, living far away, it was a huge peace of mind. Bluebird were also very quick to contact me if there was a problem and were very flexible with the schedule. We could not have managed without them. Thank you Bluebird!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Julie. I will be sure to share these compliments with our team. We are very pleased to have been able to help your mum and of course you and Willow too. Very best wishes.
My dad has used Bluebird’s services for just over two years. They visit 3 times a day and we have always found the carers to be very good. The staff have built up a good relationship with my family and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Julie, I will pass on your compliments to the team. Kind regards.
My mother has had support for some time now and despite the visit by the carer only being for 30 mins four times weekly, Mum really looks forward to their visit. She likes to know who will be coming, so appreciates the timetable sent to her. She enjoys the chats and appreciates the help that is given to her. At 97 years of age, she is still quite capable of doing a lot but struggles with showering, so the carer's support is invaluable. The carers are kind, understanding and very supportive.
Hello Richard, you really made our day! We always love to receive a positive review of the care we provide and appreciate you taking the time to rate us. Kind regards.
The staff at Bluebird went above and beyond during a difficult time for the family. During Dad's final days, they drove to the hospital to provide care for Mum, ensuring she didn't have to leave the hospital during the day and giving them more time with each other.
All the staff at Bluebird have been nothing but kind, caring and accommodating.
Thank you for leaving us a review. We were all so sorry for the difficult times for you all, we are so pleased everything we have done has gone some way to support, not just Mum and Dad but all of you. Very best wishes.
Called me if they were concerned about Mum and called the GP or hospital in emergencies.
They were always there for us and when Mum passed away, they were still there for me.
Just amazing.
Thank you for your kind review, we were so happy to support all of you throughout Mum's care, we miss her greatly. Very best wishes.

Meet the Team (10)
We were drawn into the care industry after witnessing first-hand the wide variety in the quality of care people experience. We each had a grandfather receiving care at around the same time, with one service being exceptional and the other leaving a lot to be desired to put it mildly. It made us realise two things:
There are not enough high-quality providers out there
That was then, and now we have 11 years experience of in providing Outstanding home care, as rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our simple test that runs through everything we do is that we need to provide the care that we would want our own family members to receive.
As such, we like to think of our team as an extension of our customers’ families. There really is no better feeling than helping somebody else out, and we constantly get a kick out of hearing the difference our teams are making to people’s lives on a daily basis.
Outside of work, we are kept busy with our three children, which means Jack has increasingly less time to go fishing and play cricket, though our eldest is now just about old enough to get involved with him too, so its alright now!
After being set on a life in Veterinary Medicine and studying hard, Becky lost her father to early-onset dementia. She needed to work and continued to pursue an animal-oriented career, as horses in particular are her passion. She worked as a freelance groom and also for a large animal welfare charity for almost ten years. With few prospects for progression, she decided she needed a new direction.
Becky says: "My mother has worked in care since I was young, and my sister followed her path. (They are both now Bluebirds, I might add!) I had a lot of experience working for myself and providing a customer service role for those whose animals I had cared for, so I felt I had some transferable skills for the role, as well as a tough constitution, especially having done both a physically and mentally demanding role in animal welfare.
I felt I would give it a try, and it didn’t have to be permanent if it didn’t fit. I went on to work for a local care agency providing home care for elderly and disabled adults for 6 years. From that first week, I never looked back.
I joined Bluebird Care in 2015 and soon completed QCF Level 2 and became a mentor. In 2017, I gained a promotion to Supervisor and achieved Level 5 QCF in Social Care Leadership & Management. In 2019, a promotion to Lead Supervisor, in 2021, I became Registered Manager, and in 2022, I took on running the general Operations of the Business, its goals, vision and direction.
There aren't many roles I haven't now had within Care, and that puts me in a really good place to fully understand the people, the service and the value, efforts and challenges each member of the team has in their contribution to this excellent service.
Working for Bluebird has shown me there are opportunities for a career in care; I am a working example of that, and I feel I can really make a difference. I want to share that with everyone who crosses my path! I enjoy meeting new customers and hearing about people’s lives and history, and working with people so they can continue to lead full and independent lives as much as possible at home.
Jenny supports the growth and development by creating strong community engagement and access to high-quality home care services. Lisa started out as a care assistant in 2007 after a career change from Pub Management and being a licensee, and found she really enjoyed the work and soon completed her NVQ2 in health and social care. In 2016, she joined Bluebird Care and has since gained many extra qualifications through distance learning courses and worked her way through the career pathway to become a Home Care Professional and Mentor and gained her QCF level 3 in health and social care.
In August 2020, Lisa was promoted to Care Supervisor. Lisa is now completing her Level 5 QCF in Leadership & Management. Lisa's vast hands-on care experience helps her to make sure our customers are well cared for and that we respond quickly to any changes as they happen.
In 2024, Lisa became our Senior Lead, making sure hospital discharges go smoothly for our customers, reviewing and writing new care plans to respond to increased care needs, more complex needs and End of Life Care and coordinating the schedules.
