My mother-in-law (and best friend!) has been a client of Lougher's for over five years and during that time, she has never had any reason to complain about anything. Quite the opposite, she has received nothing less than excellent service throughout, including help with walking, personal care (exceptional service there), her diet and her safety. They are always ready to assist her with any problems she might have, at times showing great patience and understanding. Mum has come to depend on these girls one hundred per cent and the company they provide for her is exceptional. They know her funny ways, her moods, her good humour, in fact these girls know and understand our mum as much as we, her family do, so not only would she be lost without them, we would be too! The office staff at Lougher are brilliant, dependable, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Lougher is an outstanding company and mum will always feel safe and secure while she has them to look after her.

Life is certainly challenging when old and/or disabled so how wonderful it is to have the care and support of the ladies of Lougher Home Care Ltd. I have been looked after by the team for over 9 years and throughout I have received 100% excellent care. They are a friendly, professional and compassionate team. Their outstanding quality is that they really do care. They unfailingly prioritise what is important for the client. The client and the whole family can be confident in their experience and expertise. A rare find in today's world.

Both the home care and contact with the office and admin team has been excellent and their support for me has also been above and beyond. It really feels like we work as a team. I am very grateful for their support and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My mother has had home care from Lougher for over 7 years and their service has been excellent, The carers are a friendly, lively and effective team. They have helped with her personal care with sensitivity, respect and dignity while also having a laugh with her. They have also helped with her meals and drinks to try to ensure she keeps up her intake. Their timing is generally very good, despite the regular traffic problems in our area. Their organisation and planning for major public holidays such as Christmas is done well in advance to ensure that whatever service is needed is maintained. The office and supervisory staff have been very good to deal with and very supportive. Our relationship with them and with the carers has been excellent. They have kept us informed of any issues when we have been away on holiday and also as needed when at home in the same town as my mother. We could not improve on their service.

Lougher Home Care is an excellent home care company. The carers are very professional, well-trained and compassionate and they have a very good understanding of my husband and his care needs. They frequently go above and beyond and their cheerful demeanour really brightens up my husband's day. I have been very impressed by the way in which the managers support their staff and show genuine concern for their well-being.

Communication between the family of the client and the management is very good too and the managers will come and do a shift from time to time, to monitor standards of care so that we are able to get to know them. Lougher's care also extends to the family of the client and I have been very grateful for their support when unexpected circumstances have arisen which might otherwise have impacted my husband's situation. Moreover, they always ask how I am coping, which I greatly appreciate. All in all, an excellent company, which I would recommend unreservedly.

All the carers are fantastic. We could not support my father-in-law to remain in his own accommodation without their hard work and kindness. We know he looks forward to the staff calling in as they are friendly and happy and we know they are well trained and professional. As a family, we are very pleased with the standard of care received and feel reassured that all staff would let us know of any concerns they had immediately.

Another important thing I find essential, the owner and senior management are fully aware of how the staff are coping and quite regularly will do a shift themselves to make sure the standard of care is given at all times. It is a known fact in some industries senior management don't have a clue what's going on below them, this is where Lougher lead the way.

Client advance care plans and end of life wishes are ignored by the manager who prioritises the rota over person-centred care.

Many times the various carers have gone well beyond their remits and help in any way they can.
