They manage all my Activities of Daily Living-from mobility and personal care to meal preparation and medication-with seamless efficiency.
Navigating Complex Mental Health and Dissociation is What truly sets the team apart They have invested the time to understand my triggers and non-verbal cues. providing a grounding presence that makes me feel safe when the world feels fragmented.
They listen with empathy, speak with patience, and ensure that my voice is always heard, even when i struggle to find it
They have mastered the delicate balance of providing high-level physical assistance while navigating the sensitive nuances of complex mental health and dissociation
Gee
They were superb. Amazing carers - Aaliyah, Electa and Hannah - all fabulously skilled and caring, I can't fault them and my Dad loved them. The admin side was also efficient and clear. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Kate thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with a review, your kind words really mean a great deal to the team and I will pass them on to Aaliya, Electa and Hannah too
I highly recommend Independent People. We have worked with a number of home care providers in looking after my elderly parents and we were very careful in our selection of the provider for live in care. IP stand out for 3 reasons :
2. They are based locally and the manager, Jade (who is exceptional) is constantly involved to ensure that
everything runs smoothly and any issues are quickly resolved.
3. Communication is next level and we are constantly kept informed and updated. Jade supports us as well as
our parents and the carer, which is really appreciated !
With live in care there will always be issues and bumps in the road but IP and ourselves deal with these together to ensure continuous good care for my parents in the twilight of their years.
Thank you kindly, for providing us with such a heartfelt review, we will share this with Jade and the team
It was necessary to find a company that could arrange the care for my sister as live in patient. This will allow my sister the added care and security in her own home. My daughter and wife were very impressed when they met Hadiya during a recent afternoon meeting during her time caring for my sister. Her written profile matches our hopes after spending the afternoon with her. My sister is in her second month under the care of Independent People Home-Care. My family recognise the care team will be faced with difficult times caring for my sister. My sister is 96 years old and sadly is in her 5th year of dementia. My family were very relieved spending the extra time talking to the management, this greatly helped our decision in choosing the right company for my sisters daily care.
Thank you William for your kind words regarding the care for your sister, its good to hear that you all received the support, help and care you needed. Many Thanks Lisa
I can not thank IP home-care enough for the support they give to my sister which enables her to live independently with confidence. Her carers are truly wonderful. They treat katy with respect and care and have spent time to truly get to know her needs and how best to help and encourage her. Her field care supervisor provides an extra level of care and encouragement, always putting Katy's needs and wants as a priority. Communication is great brilliant and I have total confidence in what they are doing for my sister. It's so reassuring to me that she is being so well looked after. A few words from my sister, " I am happy with the service iphomecare provides, the carers are really good with communicating. I'm happy with the current carers I have. Everything is perfect and outstanding. " Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate you spending the time to provide us with a review and will share your kind words with the team - Many Thanks Lisa
Couldn't recommend independent people home care enough. They went above and beyond when we found ourselves in a very difficult situation not long ago. Within a few hours they had managed to source and send a lovely carer called Zoe to live in and look after my elderly parents. Zoe was absolutely fantastic, kind, and we felt very satisfied with the level of care they received from her. She managed to help us navigate through an extremely challenging time. Huge thank you to both this company and Zoe for their help. Michael
Thank you so much for your kind words regarding the care we provide, we will share this information and your thanks to Zoe. Many Thanks again - Lisa
Very professional service and high quality agency from what i have seen. We use them to cover gaps in private live in care rota for my father. Very responsive and clear communication. They are quite expensive but can react very quickly and have good carers from our experience.
Thank you very much for your kind review. We're delighted to hear that our team has been able to support your father's care needs and that you've found our communication and responsiveness helpful. We understand that high-quality live-in care is an important investment, and we truly appreciate your...
We have been thrilled with the home care provided to my Mum and her partner. From the first contact, to the assessment, to the matching process and then to the introduction of the carer. When I visited my Mum and her partner yesterday, I could instantly tell that they felt comfortable and supported by their carer. Their carer is quiet, unassuming, friendly, attentive and very kind! She is going above and beyond in caring for my family, and yet encouraging their independence. Thank you to you all
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with such a heartfelt, positive review. I will share this with the rest of the team and the carer - Thank you again.
Independent People Homecare have provided live-in care to a family member for a number of years. We have received great service from the management and administrative team, and the care staff have been well-trained, respectful and considerate at all times. I would highly recommend the service to anyone who is considering live-in care.
Thank you for taking the time to provide such a heartfelt review. I will share this with the team who I know will really appreciate it. Many thanks again
We are very happy and the carer has become part of the family. Care is excellent & very thorough in all that is done. The carer is happy to cook and help us with all activities, so we feel very lucky to have the help.
Thank you, we really appreciate you spending the time to provide us with such a kind review. I will pass this on to the team. Thank you again.
I have been extremely grateful for the care, commitment and professionalism of Mum's carer, who has been with her now for 5 months. Mum's dementia is progressing week by week - at times rapidly - but the carer has adapted brilliantly to every change in Mum's behaviours and capabilities. It is incredibly reassuring to me to know that Mum is so well looked after every day, and it takes a big weight off my shoulders.
Thank you so much for providing a review on the service you have received from IP Homecare, we will share this with the rest of the team. Many Thanks
This review may not do the service the justice it deserves, but I shall try. We are only a few days in with my mums live in carer and I can already 'take a breath' Mum was bed blocking the local hospital whilst waiting for a rehab facility, but wanting desperately to come home after nearly 4 weeks in hospital. These wishes were granted when a plan was put in place for the carer to move In With her for 2 weeks. As I say we are only a few days in but already a lovely relationship has been built between the carer and my mum, and the contact with the organisers of this has been amazing. Caring for a loved one is a combination of sheer pride and exhaustion- with these few weeks we know that mum is going to be happy and safe in her own home- THANK YOU
Thank you Nina, we cannot thank you enough for taking the time to provide us with such a valuable review. We will share this with the rest of the team.
The carers are well trained and compassionate, nothing is too much trouble, they respect her home and make her as comfortable as possible.
Should any problems arise, they are taken seriously and dealt with immediately, which is reassuring. I would highly recommend Independent People Home-Care to anyone seeking live-in care for themselves or a loved one.
Thank you Kathryn, we really appreciate you taking the time to provide us with a review on the care for your Mother, we will share this with our teams,. thank you again
We had an excellent experience with the Care team and Coordinator/s who got to understand our Mum's needs and plan for Dad's respite break. They professionally matched the most suitable carer and through much planning for the 'live in' care week everything went very smoothly. We can't thank the team and carer enough for enabling the care package we planned.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review, we cant thank you enough and we are so pleased to hear that your Dad enjoyed his break. we hope to see you again soon
Excellent customer service and any issues that have arisen have been dealt with straight away and all care staff are excellent and have enriched my clients life and provide a high standard of care the carer has settled very well as I use a combination of privately employed and care agency and the care agency spent time to ensure we had the right carer for my client and had experience with Cerebral Palsy and they support my client in all her activities and my client is very happy with all the staff that we have had from agency. Would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for live in care.
Thank you Gabriella, we really appreciate you taking the time to provide us with such a valuable review. We will share this with our team - Thank you again - Lisa
The two carers who came on holiday with us were great. Knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. They did everything we needed. They had peg experience and hoist experience. Would use this company again.
Thank you so much for taking to provide us with such a heartfelt review. We will share this with the team and looking forward to seeing you again soon
Independent People is a fantastic provider focused on the quality of support rather than expansion. I feel like an equal partner in my care. With Independent People, I have been able to build a reliable team of professional carers who are really committed to giving their best. It has been my best care situation for many years.
We can't thank you enough for such a heartfelt review, I will share this with the rest of the team, who I know will be very grateful! Thank you!
My good friend was cared for by live in carers from IP Homecare for the last 6 years of her life. The care they provided enabled her to remain in her own home, which she' loved with all its familiarity, despite advanced dementia. It took a few goes to find the right carers but the IPH staff were always responsive to my feedback and live in carers with the right skills set and approach to fit my friends needs were found. The carers we eventually had in place over the last 5 years, were well trained and knowledgeable and provided excellent, professional, personalised care. I know they made my friend feel cared for and even loved by them. Record keeping was detailed and daily. The office staff remained in regular close contact with the carer and myself, checking in with me by phone to ask if I had any concerns. I can't thank IPH enough for making the last few years of my friends life as good as it could be and enabling me to keep her in her own home.
Thank you for such a heartfelt review on the care we provided. I can't tell you how much this will mean to the team. I will pass this on to them now. Many Thanks
Generally the standard of care has been very good, communication is always very good between me and the Care Company and making sure that I am comfortable and that I am aware should things have to be altered. I can do that. As a company Independent People understand the importance of finding the right carer For the right client which I appreciate.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with a review. We are really pleased you are pleased with the service we provide and will share your views with the team.
The carer is excellent and my mum loves her. My mum was hardly eating when we brought her home from the care home but the carer persevered and also thought of the idea of putting the protein powder prescribed by the doctor into her tea because she had refused it when it was just mixed with milk. Since then my mum has grown stronger and even got some of her appetite back.
The carer encourages my mum to do her exercises and also spends a lot of time chatting to my mum.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're absolutely delighted to hear how well your mum is doing and that her carer has made such a positive difference. We're so pleased we were able to find the right match for your mum. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Golga has a wealth of experience in providing high-quality care for adults. Golga joined our team in 2023 as a live-in carer, which led her to be promoted to Field Care Supervisor in 2025. We are very lucky to have her as part of our valuable team.
I joined the IP team in 2020, bringing with me a background in social care that began in 1987. I started my career in health as a voluntary B-grade auxiliary nurse in an institution for people with learning disabilities. After just one week, I was offered a permanent position—something I saw as a real turning point, as I have always been passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.
As institutions began to close, I became part of the resettlement team. This was a challenging time, as many individuals had lived their entire lives at Weston Hospital and faced significant uncertainty about moving into the community. Despite these challenges, the transition was largely successful and incredibly rewarding to be part of.
I progressed into roles as Acting Home Manager and then Registered Manager of a small residential home, where I remained for several years. I later became an Area Manager for Life Path Trust in Coventry, a role I held for 16 years.
In 2020, I decided it was time for a new challenge and accepted a position with Independent People. I truly value the opportunity to meet and support a wide range of individuals, helping them to live independently at home. There is nothing more rewarding than empowering people to remain in control of their lives, make their own choices, and continue living in the comfort of their own homes with the right support.
I worked as a Recruitment Resourcer, where I was responsible for sourcing and attracting new candidates for care roles. In this position, I spoke with new people every day, building strong communication skills and learning how to quickly understand individuals’ experiences, skills, and career goals. I enjoyed the fast-paced nature of the role and took pride in connecting the right candidates with suitable opportunities, ensuring a positive experience for both the applicant and the organisation.
I have a strong background in the care sector, having worked hands-on as a carer from 2007 to 2014. During this time, I gained valuable experience providing person-centred support, developing a deep understanding of clients’ needs, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Since 2014, I have continued my career within the care industry by working in recruitment. In this role, I have been responsible for sourcing, vetting, and placing care professionals, ensuring that both clients and candidates are well matched. This experience has given me a broader perspective of the sector, as well as strong communication, organisational, and people skills.
I am passionate and caring, and I love my job very much. I have worked with IP for over 8 years and have felt such Joy in supporting our wonderful customers to live at home as independently as they can. I work well as a team and am always open to learning new skills to improve my knowledge and experience.
I have been part of Independent People Homecare since 2015 and take great pride in the work we do, as well as the dedicated support our wonderful carers provide to our valued customers. I have over 30 years of experience in the care sector, leading up to my current role as Registered Manager.
In my spare time, I enjoy running and going to the gym as a way to relax. I also love being outdoors—especially walking in the woods and enjoying the sense of space and fresh air.
Sean joined the team in 2014 and has a wealth of experience working within the care sector
