I am very happy with the service my Nan has received from the staff that visit. They visit 4 times daily to administer medication and provide personal care, nothing is too much trouble she loves their chats about family and things she has done in her past they are all very gentle and lovely to her which is very reassuring. I must also say I am very happy with the office staff and on-call as they are always available for any issues that arise and very accommodating to situations we may have. Top service from lovely genuine people keep up the excellent work and service you provide.
Carers are respectful and very caring see to my needs nothing is to much trouble wash and dress me shave me cream on legs and back take back to lounge help to walk back to chair as i don't have much mobility
Many thanks for taking time out to leave us a review. I am so pleased you are happy with our care workers, they always say how welcome they are made in your home, and how rewarding it is to be able to help keep DW as independent as possible.
I am very pleased to say being with Agincare , ive been with Agincare for over 12 months. Now I am pleased , is that what they do for me that make me feel comfortable, have a chat with me. Do everything this is asked of me. So we're very, very happy with them.
Many thanks for leaving a review. I will pass your kind words back to your care workers. Thank you for choosing and staying with Agincare.
My Mum receives 2 calls a day. Morning to help with personal care, food preparation (breakfast and sandwich for later in the day), medication and ensuring areas are clean and tidy. I had an evening call to administer medication and prepare drinks and tidy dishes.. Throughout the calls, the carers are kind, considerate, and respectful and chat with Mum about what she has been doing. There is good communication between carers and family, and the office team are easy to contact and responds appropriately when necessary. The support provided by the care team is a valuable part of Mum's daily routine.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such a lovely review. Your mum is a delightful lady to care for, she has a great rapport with all her regular care workers. We really appreciate such high praise.
Attentive and friendly staff. Visit 4 times daily, always when expected. Father is the client he is happy with the service provided and is comfortable with the carers in attendance. More than happy with our choice of service provider.
Thank you for your lovely words. Our Care Professionals work hard to provide the best quality of care to our clients. We will pass on your kind message. We are so sorry for the subsequent loss of GB he was such a lovely client to visit.
All of the carers that call to deal with my dad are professional, friendly and eager to help. The management team are very easy to access and deal with. Special thanks to them.
Many thanks for taking time out to review our services that we provide to your dad. We are very grateful for such a high recommendation.
Amazing care the carer looked after Dad so kindly until he passed away and he now looks after Mum fits in like one of our family we are so lucky to have peace of mind with Mum from this wonderful team. Thanks always.
Many thanks for your kind words and taking time to leave such positive feedback. The care worker has been with Agincare for many years, and we always get lovely comments about his care.
My father has received 4 calls a day from morning to bedtime for a number of years. His carer provides him with excellent service undertaking his personal care, food preparation and numerous medications etc. He's always on time, approachable and very knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble. The care my father receives is excellent as he can be quite demanding due to his dementia. Having such a good carer allows me to have peace of mind knowing his needs are being met.
We are delighted to hear that you are pleased with our Care Professionals. We take great pride in employing dedicated and compassionate individuals who are committed to providing the best care possible. Your feedback means a lot to us and reinforces our commitment to excellence.
Carers from Agincare visit my mother 4 times a day at home. Mum has dementia and mobility problems. The carers are so good with her. They understand her condition and have a lot of patience with her. I have been on holiday recently and they went above and beyond by taking her for little walks which she really enjoyed.
Many thanks for taking time to complete this review. Your mother is an absolute delight to care for, the care workers enjoy going into her calls and their notes always relay the lovely conversations they have had with her. At Agincare we ensure that all our staff are trained to understand each service user's individual needs to ensure good quality of care. Thanks again for such kind words.
I disagree with having to give twenty-four hours' notice to cancel a visit, especially when it is a fall on the same day as the visit.
Many thanks for taking time to review our services. With regards to the period of notice that needs to be given to cancel a call, this is dictated by our contractual obligations with Adult Social Care. This ensures continuity of care and safe staffing levels for all care companies. We will let our staff know of your kind words.
On arrival the carers demonstrate support, care and friendliness to both my son and family. This has been much appreciated. However due to many changes in the care staff, this does affect my son who needs time to get familiar with new staff and for them to understand his disability needs.
The carers are punctual and responsive to any questions and queries that are asked. Management are also very approachable and friendly with any queries asked.
Many thanks for your kind words. We ensure that all our staff are aware of your son's needs, so that he feels confident and safe with the care that he receives. I will pass on your comments to our team.
It would be nice to maintain continuity by having the same care staff more often, but appreciate this isn't always possible.
The management are quick to act on any changes relating to the care and to pass on to their staff any instructions given by medical professionals.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide a review. It is very much appreciated. It's an absolute privilege to provide support to your mum who is wonderful. I will share your feedback with the team and with your mum's carers personally as I know they love supporting her. Thank you.
My husband had a stroke which unfortunately left him with right-side weakness, no speech hardly and he has to be prompted to do certain things. Agincare carers looked after him while I had respite! They were fantastic! He was so contented and well-fed! I have and will be having Agincare again whilst I have a break, I can go away and don’t have to worry about him. Easy to contact and always very happy to help with any questions or concerns I had.
Thank you for taking the time to review our services. It is good to know that your husband feels safe and well looked after whilst you take your well-earned respite. We look forward to continuing with care and thank you for pre-booking your next breaks with us.
I prefer to have the same two carers as I know them and they know my routine. I don't like having new people all the time.
This time of year...
We are very happy with the care given. Very happy with the office staff.
Apologies for the late response but many thanks for your kind words. We really appreciate your feedback on our service.
In our respect, I think that all these criteria have been met. The carers are aware that this is our home and we are aware that they are giving care with compassion. We look forward to their arrival, polite greetings all round, and comfortable chats. They are a credit to Agincare.
Many thanks for your kind words. Apologies for the late reply but we really appreciate your feedback.
My experience with Agincare Newcastle-Under-Lyme (Home Care & Live-in Care) has been overall good, as below. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting a variety of colours, nationalities and backgrounds Everyone has been very kind and helpful. I have only one complaint - timing anytime from 9:15 to 10:30. Fortunately I am homebound so it is only when I want to go to church that it matters.
Many thanks for your kind words. Apologies for the late reply, but we really appreciate your feedback. I hope we have now resolved the issue over the timings of your call.

Tanya became Registered Manager of the Newcastle-under-Lyme branch in August 2022. Tanya joined the branch in September 2020 as Administration Coordinator, then progressed to Interim Manager in February 2022 and has been working in care for a total of 5 years.
Tanya has worked in various roles throughout her career and began working in care during lockdown, where she worked as a support worker for adults with learning difficulties. An interest in working in care was sparked with her father, who had dementia, lived with her for 5 years along with the support of care workers and therefore had first-hand experience of domiciliary care.
Tanya has recently completed and become a Mental Health First Aider, studying with MHFA England and is currently studying an Apprenticeship Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care.
Outside of work, Tanya loves to go to the theatre, go out for meals, visit the cinema and an occasional visit to the gym! Tanya lives in a very close-knit village and originally moved to run the local pub and fell in love with the place and people so decided to set up a home in Silverdale.
