Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional employee visited me to 'discuss' my package of care that they had accepted from the local authority. In reality, she was there to tell me that they will not be attending to the most critical part of my medication in the mornings.
Every other care agency in the
last two properties I was in managed it as it does not require any special skills or qualifications. She then listed other items they were refusing to undertake. They refused to go back to Wandsworth Adult Services and inform them of the mistake and should never have accepted the POC as have no intention of meeting it.
7 weeks later and they are still refusing to do that, and to communicate with me. Happy to take the money from the LA and not be honest. They then further drained the public funds by contacting my GP to get them to write a letter to instruct district nurses to attend every morning to apply the plaster.
Seriously avoid this agency who prioritise managing to 'avoid' care.

We are sorry to hear you felt a lack of empathy and compassion from our team. Our aim is to provide the best possible care to those we support. Unfortunately, in your case, we raised the issue with the LA immediately; our policies/regulations state that the medications are to be administered by a medical professional unless expressly authorised to do so. Your care Plan did not specify this and therefore we were not authorised to do so under our agreement with the LA. There have been multiple agencies prior to us who have not been able to fully support you. There were other concerns on the safety and well-being of our team; we served notice on the LA to end the package immediately. Unfortunately, this is beyond our scope and requires the LA and your GP to work out the best possible way for your care needs. We appreciate the failure in the system is causing you distress. This is not within our remit or ability to resolve. We can apologise for the distress this has caused you.

The care that has been provided to my dear friend has been so wonderful, especially during these times where there is so much sadness and uncertainty.
The carer always makes my friend smile and she actually looks forward to their visits.
Over the Christmas period when it can be very lonely, she
brought my friend a Christmas card that brightened up what could've been an awful day.

Managing Care Ltd is an excellent domiciliary care provider. When I researched my options; I was trying to balance affordability and excellence and in managing care I found a service provider that delivered excellent services for an affordable price. I entrusted the care of my elderly mother to their
home care service and they were fantastic.
The individuals were excellent communicators who would go the extra mile to assist my mother. Additionally, I received great communication from their senior leadership team; who ensured the excellent service was maintained.

Managing care has been outstanding in the service they provide. We have used different carers throughout the years for my aunt who is quite elderly but managing care by far has exceeded our expectations. I have been very impressed by how the company and carers have looked after my gran after her discharge from hospital. I was very worried about how I would manage to drive up and down to my gran's house to support her. But the company have been great and I don't have to worry or visit every day because
