CuraCare provides trusted home care and support services to older people living at home. The passionate Twickenham care team delivers tailored support ranging from hourly visits to 24-hour live-in care. Personalised care for peace of mind.

This is a local, family run, award winning business that puts people at the heart of everything they do. CuraCare was founded on values based around the care its founders would want themselves if they ever needed it. They don’t believe in off-the-shelf packages and automated telephone lines, but rather in a local, friendly one-on-one service that they take time to tailor to suit every client.

Their mission is to enrich the daily life of their clients, not just maintain it. They truly believe that everyone should be able to receive the highest quality of care in the comfort of their own home. You won’t be just a client to Curacare, you will be a friend.

CuraCare’s founders are passionate about care and equally passionate about their carers, who are at the heart of what they do. As a growing local business, they are continuously on the look-out for exceptionally compassionate individuals, who would find enabling and supporting clients to live comfortably and independently in their own homes as rewarding as they do.

Our mother has been looked after by Cura Care. She has visits twice daily, one in the morning and another in the evening.
She looks forward to the visits and is well looked after. The individual carers are experienced and able to our mother’s needs.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.517) out of 10 for Cura Care is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.917 for Cura Care is calculated as follows: ( (33 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 4.917

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Cura Care is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
