My only criticism is (actually more of a procedural issue, and it only happened once) if they are coming by public transport as some do, I understand you have no control over traffic, we are all aware of how bad traffic in the area is, but really would like a call to say running late, just so I can let my father know as he could either be stuck in bed waiting or downstairs waiting for breakfast, just so he doesn't work himself up and also to stop him calling me at work every five minute to say they aren't here yet.
Apart from that, I have actually no issues whatsoever. They make a big difference to him, to his mental state. He talks about them a lot in such a nice friendly way. Well done, keep it up.
The care staff are professional, helpful and have gone the extra mile for looking after my relative. They have covered short notice requirements. Thanks to all the staff for their support.
Individual carers have been good but often arrive with no briefing of the patient's condition or needs. Management of carers' locations has been most inefficient, so they have been driving all over the place. Most difficult to accept is the uncertainty of who is the next carer? When will she come? Why is she so late? My wife gets extremely anxious and we just can't take any more.
I've found Home Angels provide an excellent service and always go the extra mile at short notice.
I've reviewed as satisfactory. If bedtime service matched morning, it would have been good or excellent.
Bad times - ignored.
I have 4 care visits daily, my main needs at tea which consists of a collected frozen meal is microwaved by carers.
I pay for half of my keep. The council pay the rest.
I find them cheerful, very caring and pleased to have them care for my husband.
Many thanks for your lovely comments about the team.
I have found the service very good on the whole. There are one or two of the workers who are better than others, the ones who are good, are very good.
With the exception of a few incidents of missed attendance through poor communication, I've been very satisfied with the services provided by each carer.
Thank you for your honest response we appreciate your Honesty so we can improve our services for every client.
The carers are always polite and cheerful which does help me a lot, without their effort, I would probably be in a care home or worse. I suppose with the amount of time they have to attend me a lot gets achieved and I am grateful for that.
Within a few days of Home Angels starting to care for my mum, her condition deteriorated. The carers waited with mum until the ambulance arrived they liaised with the GP and rapid response team to enable us to keep our mum at home. They constantly kept us informed. Since then they have provided excellent care for our mum and continue to monitor her condition carefully.
Thank you for the lovely review we will pass this onto the staff involved and will continue to support your mum and yourselves.
