Overall, I am very pleased with the level of care given to my father. My only one criticism would be that younger members of staff could receive better training, as they don't always know what to do.

I highly recommend Above and Beyond Care. The daily care my dad receives is the best. All the carers are really lovely and nothing is too much trouble for this company. They have helped my dad remain in his own home and have provided first class care to him. They adapt to suit his changing needs as they arise. I feel throughly supported just knowing that he has someone going and chatting to him, making his meals and providing personal care as well as supporting him emotionally too. I appreciate that while my dads needs are being thoroughly met, the team also keep me fully informed too. Both the carers and the office staff are excellent and extremely well organised. I have had Above and Beyond Care for nearly a month now and find the management team and my carers kind and caring. They are professional and listen. The care is a high standard and the carers will go out of their way to help you.

From the initial assessment through to the care being implemented we had an excellent service. The Quality Assurance Manager was professional and very understanding of our situation and worked with us to introduce carers to my mother-in-law who were respectful of her needs and wishes and paid attention to the small things that mattered to her. As it is a small family-run firm, communication was easy and efficient. Response to queries and feedback on care was excellent.

When I started using this agency approx 3 years ago, the standard of care was excellent, with good carers but as of late, the carers have often been late and the standard of care has deteriorated, possibly due to lack of good carers.

My daughter has advanced fronto-temporal dementia and we have been receiving care for her from Above and Beyond Care for 3 years. During that time she has gone through many stages of her dementia and the volume of care has had to be adjusted from time to time. I have found that Above and Beyond Care always copes with this situation admirably. Very recently we had a mini crisis where even more care had to be found without warning. Despite Above and Beyond Care having Staff with holidays, and some off sick, they went out of their way to provide my daughter with the Care she needed and no loss was incurred because of their efforts. In an unpredictable situation like this, I can say that Above and Beyond Care have always pulled out all the stops and coped with her needs. I wholeheartedly recommend them for the care needs of any dependent and ill client who needs loving care. Apart from physical needs the Caring Staff put a smile on her face and she has been happy with them from Day One.
