Homecare Matters have taken care of our mother as if she were one of their own. The staff treat her with dignity and respect even when she is at her most difficult. They go above and beyond in the tasks they carry out in her home and when they take her for her weekly visit to the centre. The manager is in constant touch by both email and text with any developments, concerns or suggestions we can implement to improve quality of life. I cannot praise them highly enough.

Carers attending daily to Mother-in-Law's home, these Angels have restored 'her will to live', we can't thank them enough. Carers are always patient, polite, have excellent listening skills, always arrive with a friendly approach, patient and 'wearing their best smile for the client', their skills are to be applauded, and have on one recent occasion 'made the Queen of our family's day', the carer soaked her feet. I received a couple of phone calls only when carers were 'new' on checking a couple of things (how nice). I have delivered a few plastic items for recycling as they use a lot for crafts in their Day Care Centre, and accepted a quick coffee, all staff were busy, calm but friendly, all Day Care clients were given attention and choices, what a lovely friendly atmosphere. Outside the premises I saw lovely raised border beds used by the clients for planting and crafts. On behalf of family, can't thank you enough, one happy Mother-in-law, she loves her carers.

My mother in law is very forgetful, loses things and needed additional care during the last couple of weeks, the carers are kind considerate and patient as well as showing they really have empathy.
The head office phone is always answered promptly and all staff show nothing is too much trouble,

It is my first experience of a care provider and I am extremely impressed.

Homecare Matters are the complete care service, my mother had Homecare look after her for 10 years before she moved to a nursing home. All the girls that made the calls gave her fantastic care and attention and nothing was too much trouble. Going above and beyond, also girls in the office are very professional and always on the end of the phone day and night if you have a problem. I have and will recommend it to anyone that needs this service. Many thanks.

Homecare Matters, their name sums up exactly what the company is all about. Their Service users care matters to the company and all their staff. Very reliable and always ensuring my parents were cared for with kindness and love. My father has Parkinson’s, every day is difficult. On occasion when he had needed to use the toilet, and couldn’t manage, he would call the management team, somebody would arrive promptly and help my dad with his needs, Going the extra mile. All the girls were so pleasant, efficient and my parents who had been used to their privacy and were finding it difficult to adapt to having different people coming to their home actually looked forward to the girls arriving. Seeing them as their friends. Always kept them clean and attended to their every need. I highly recommend Homecare Matters to any one considering care for family members. Thank you to the manager and all her staff.

Where do I start? The manager and ALL of her amazing staff go above and beyond not just supporting the “service user” but their families too. I can’t recommend this little gem of a place highly enough. From the moment you step through the door you can genuinely tell that the staff enjoy working there and care for everyone with dignity and compassion. Although my husband who is late stage Dementia is in full time care he had many, many happy times there and would delight at the little trinkets he painted/made during his sessions. I know that Homecare Matters will go from strength to strength and if “God forbid” I need support in years to come I pray I can go there.

The staff at Homecare Matters are exceptional. Their person centred approach to caring meant that our loved one received the highest level of care from staff who took the time to truly get to know them and make their life more comfortable. The staff always arrived with a smile; friendly and personable the girls always cheered our loved one up and they often looked forward to the carers arriving. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the care staff, they often went above and beyond what was required. The office staff are just as helpful, always on hand to help with any questions and work so hard to ensure an excellent service.

Homecare Matters is truly a wonderful team - and I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very good with mum and went that extra mile for her.
Some of the staff were exceptional and very caring.
What was really good were the day trips mum and the other patients were taken out on.

I also liked the ways they would interact with mum and the other patients at the day centre.
