The care provided has been friendly and encouraging, always happy to do a crossword with Mum or just sit and chat.
Thank you, Bluebird.
Thank you so much for your kind review. I am delighted that we have been able to help.
I felt particularly lucky as I had continuity of carers, ie in the main, I was sent the same 3/4 girls each week, which makes life a lot easier as one didn’t have to explain everything from scratch each time. The carers were lovely to have about the place and were very willing to do any little job in addition to the personal care, which was the prime reason I needed them.
The staff at the office were brilliant in that there was no fuss if I needed to change a time for hospital visits etc., and the issue was dealt with on the spot. I would have no hesitation in turning to Bluebird again, nor in recommending them to others.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. I am delighted that you were so happy with the care and support you received from Bluebird Care.
Bluebird carers have been visiting my father at home for more than three years. Knowing they visit and keep an eye on him when I can’t gives me enormous peace of mind. Some of the carers have been coming all that time so know Dad very well, and newer members of the team seem to learn quickly and provide the same level of care. The administrative team are very responsive and always let me know if there’s a (very rare) problem with a scheduled visit, and have sorted any issues out quickly and professionally. I trust them all hugely and wouldn’t have been able to keep Dad in his own home for so long without them. As his care needs undoubtedly increase I’ll have no hesitation in discussing alternative care plans with them.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We are pleased that you have been so happy with your father's care and will pass your comments on to the team.
It took a lot of research to find the right care company and I'm so glad I chose Bluebird. Nothing is too much trouble for them and my friend has been treated with courtesy and dignity at all times. All my questions and requests are dealt with in a timely manner and I really can't fault the wonderful service from both the carers and the office staff. My friend is absolutely delighted with all the carers and looks forward to their daily visits so she has someone to chat to. They do her washing, cleaning and food shopping. They get her up each day, dressed, showered or washed and then make breakfast and lunch and if time permits they'll take her out for lunch. As she often says to me, "What would I do without these kind and wonderful people?" At the early stages of her illness my friend made me promise to keep her in her own home and with Bluebird's help I feel really confident that I will be able to keep that promise.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this wonderful review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and we will be sure to pass them on to the staff.
Bluebird Care, Milton Keynes has some lovely carers with excellent communication skills and my family member really enjoys their visits. These carers take a genuine interest and will let me know if they have any ideas about ways we can improve my family member's quality of life - I really appreciate this. The office staff are always kind and courteous and do their absolute best to provide consistency in the team of care staff - not an easy task in rural areas.
Thank you very much for your kind review. Your positive feedback means a lot to our team.
The carers that came to look after my mother were always caring, friendly to all members of the family whenever they met up and were always respectful of some of the more intimate moments. A credit to all the girls we had contact with.
Thank you for your kind review. Your mother is fondly remembered by many of us here at Bluebird Care.
Bluebird helped to care for my lovely wife for just over 5 years. Initially, my wife was semi-mobile but unfortunately became bedbound not long after starting with Bluebird meaning that the care package we had had to change overnight. This was no problem for Bluebird such is their depth of caring knowledge and using the equipment provided by occupational health was no issue for them at all as they have their own training facilities in-house. Of course, carers come and go but my wife was always attended by one experienced carer (we had to have 2 in attendance) and either a carer from a different round covering or a trainee being mentored. Over the years we were extremely fortunate to have an exceptional carer who would sit with my wife three days a week and would mentor other carers in best practice at all times. During this period that my wife received this wonderful care she was attended four times a day by ladies who became her friends rather than the term carer. That is important to remember!
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to care for your lovely wife and she is greatly missed by all of us here at Bluebird Care.
My father has been receiving care from Bluebird Carer for the last 9 months. They help him with personal care in the mornings, help him do his exercises to strengthen his muscles, put washing on, remind him to take his medication, he now enjoys a bath and a shave and in the evening they heat him up something to eat amongst other chores. My father, although was sceptical about receiving help initially, now looks forward to the visits. It’s lovely for him to have different people to talk to. He has a lovely team of carers whom help me to take care of my father and it’s much appreciated. Communication is good between the carers and myself and I’m happy with the support that they offer my father.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback. We are so pleased to hear that you are happy with the care your father is receiving.
I am very fortunate to have my care needs supported by Bluebird. The carers are all well-trained, excellent communicators and very aware of my needs. I have got to know my set of carers very well. They are all amazing. I never feel rushed, I feel listened to and my dignity is respected at all times.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We are pleased that you have been so happy with your care and will pass your comments on to the team.
Having support from Bluebird Care (Milton Keynes) has greatly enhanced my quality of life and general well-being. Being able to have some time to myself, to meet a friend for coffee or visit the hairdresser makes a real difference. My husband thoroughly enjoys his time each week with the carer, who has been brilliant. It has been so good to depend on the same member of staff coming each week and where a change has been necessary there has been good communication beforehand. The company has taken care to match the carer to the needs of the person.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and kind words about our staff. We are delighted to have been able to help both you and your husband.
Staff are courteous and professional.
The coordinator is absolutely fantastic, keeping me fully up to date with any issues my mother may have.
Would 100% recommend Bluebird!

Bluebird carers looked after my mother for 12 months until she had to go into a care home in December 2020. The ladies were so good at looking after Mum that without their care and attention she would have had to go into a home much sooner. They were kind and thoughtful in the way they attended to her needs, while also encouraging her to do things for herself. The manager kept the family fully informed of any concerns about Mum's health both by telephone and in writing. Equally any concerns of the family were dealt with immediately. I cannot thank Bluebird enough for the service they gave to Mum.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. We will ensure that your kind remarks are passed on to the ladies who cared for your mother.
Bluebird carers were dedicated and careful to follow guidelines. My friend required simple care and support because of great vulnerability, Bluebird carers were willing to adapt to her particular needs, to keep me informed or the doctor informed of any concerns as appropriate.
Thank you so much for your review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Bluebird Care Milton Keynes provided care for my husband over a period of several years. During this time, it was a privilege to know some of the very special staff, who demonstrated professionalism to the highest degree, as well as having a dedicated, calming and affectionate approach to the many complex facets of domiciliary care. Their training and knowledge in the use of the multitude of equipment provided by the occupational therapist was second to none and ensured that my husband could be transferred safely and comfortably from one room to the other, thus improving his quality of life. The end of life care provided by Bluebird was outstanding, not only ensuring my husband's comfort and wellbeing but also displaying a remarkable compassion and empathy towards me and other family members.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this wonderful review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and we will be sure to pass them on to the staff.
Thank you for the care you provided to my mother at her home in the last three years of her life. Your staff were fantastic, and my mother saw them as close friends, which she much appreciated. Despite the high circulating levels of Covid-19, she did not catch it. She wanted to stay at home, and her wish was fulfilled. You were able to escalate the help she needed as her frailty worsened. Thank you from the depths of our hearts.
Thank you so much for your review; I will ensure that your kind words are passed on to your mother's carers.
My wife has 4 visits each day with two carers attending at each visit. There have been several staff changes over the years, as is true with all care agencies, but the level of care provided by Bluebird has never faltered. The carers are always well presented in their company uniforms and arrive at the times agreed for each visit. Even so, the best of all plans is sometimes affected by unexpected emergencies that delay their arrival. In these cases, the office always calls to inform us and/or makes alternative arrangements. There is never a problem with us changing the time of a visit to suit external events or appointments (doctor's, dentist's, etc). Any issues that we have (not that there has been many) are dealt with to the satisfaction of all parties. Long may our relationship with Bluebird continue.
It is always very gratifying to receive compliments from our customers. I will make sure that they are passed on to our fantastic care staff.
They provide excellent staff who have obviously had a high standard of training and management go out of their way to fulfil all my requirements even when it must be difficult to do so.
Their staff are also professional, efficient, caring, friendly, who never go even a few minutes earlier than the care time allocated.
Communication is excellent from management down to carers.
Very fair price structure with no additional travel costs added on.
I would highly recommend Bluebird Care.
Thank you so much for your kind review and positive feedback.

After graduating from university many years ago with a degree in Law, David joined the Ministry of Defence where he performed many roles including spells in consultancy, policy advice, the press office and as the senior civil servant overseeing Schools for the children of British military schools overseas. In 2011, he led a team to reduce the size of the MOD civil service by 25% and as part of that work managed to devise his own exit, so that he could change career and open Bluebird Care (Milton Keynes). His interest in the care sector started several years earlier when his sister suffered a catastrophic accident which left her quadriplegic. David is married with two grown-up children, five grandchildren and a dog. Hailing from Wales, David enjoys all sports and has had a lifelong love affair with Liverpool Football Club, which has caused him enjoyment and heartache in equal measure.
Catherine grew up in Milton Keynes and lives in Newport Pagnell with her husband and three children. After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Modern History and Politics, Catherine worked in advertising sales for a London publishing house before travelling the world and then returning to university to study for a PGCE in secondary education. She joined Bluebird Care in 2019 as an Assistant Director after working as head of the History department in a local secondary school for 10 years.
Catherine has recently completed a Level 5 Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship and is now a Director of Bluebird Care Milton Keynes responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.

Gemma joined Bluebird Care as a care assistant in September 2015. Although it was her first job in care, she quickly grew into the role. After returning from maternity leave in 2017, she volunteered to join the office team and became a part-time coordinator. She later took on the coordinator role full-time, although she continued to provide care to some of her long-term customers.
More recently, Gemma has taken on the role of Deputy Care Manager, which has seen her move away from day-to-day rostering, focusing instead on arranging and overseeing care for our customers and supporting the Care Manager. She is often the first person customers will meet from Bluebird Care, as she carries out the majority of new care assessments. Gemma is very much part of the furniture at Bluebird and works tirelessly to support her customers.
Danni is one of our coordinators who supports the daily running of the business by managing rotas. Danni sits in the hot seat where no two days are the same. She is super efficient and always goes out of her way to give our customers and staff what they want, which is no easy job.
Elizabeth works out in the field, completing compliance checks and supporting staff. She also visits customers to complete reviews. Elizabeth has a wealth of knowledge in the care sector and is a qualified social worker.
Kerri supports Danni in managing all rotas. Kerri goes out of her way every day to ensure she provides the highest service. She is kind and understanding and an asset to our office team!
