All staff are kind, understanding and helpful. They attend my mum with care and dignity, making sure she has taken her medication and has plenty of fluids. I'm also made aware of any problems with her welfare. I've now had more weight lifted off my mind since carers now attend in the evening as well
as morning. Many thanks to all your staff.

We have been using Bluebird Care for a few years now for Mum and what an amazing company it is. The girls that care for Mum go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. The community care manager has really worked hard to give Mum the service she has received and putting the extra call in place
so quickly. I would definitely recommend Bluebird Care to friends and family.

I have had Bluebird Care for two years now and what I value most is the company and how friendly they are. Bluebird have a good crew and they are all smashing. I get on with all of the carers, they are all simply wonderful, nothing is ever too much for them, no matter who comes, we all get on just the
same. I really enjoy having someone come in a couple of times per week and check that I am medically ok and look after me.

If you raise a complaint, instead of rectifying it with some form of service recovery they cancel the contract. Had issues with the accounts department, terrible service from a few of the carers, and the managing director is not very helpful at all.
Reply from Leisa MacKenzie, Director at Bluebird Care Stamford, Rutland, Peterborough & Oundle

Our aim is to provide the best possible care to those we support, and it is something we take very seriously. We are sorry we haven’t met your expectations; this isn’t the service we aim to deliver. There have been discussions privately with you to help further and come to a resolution; I have sent you a private message so that we can discuss in more detail.
Kindest regards.

I needed to find two live-in carers to look after my Mum, and I am so pleased I contacted Bluebird. They have all worked so hard to put a package in place in a very short time before current carers left no mean feat this close to Christmas! They did a very thorough assessment of Mum’s needs and then
found two lovely ladies to carry out her care. These ladies were trained on Mum’s particular needs before they arrived so all ready to start.
It’s early days but I am so reassured that Mum will get the care, kindness and support she deserves.
Thank you, Bluebird!

I have just had Bluebird Care for 2 weeks after an operation on my hand and would like to convey my sincere thanks to you all. The preliminary and final visits were informative and I appreciated the flexibility to accommodate my needs. The carers were all very kind and efficient, punctual, cheerful
and we had many laughs. They make me feels as if I was their only patient they never flustered or in a hurry. I shall recommend Bluebird to everyone and shall come back to you, no doubt. I can't whether you were good value for money because this is the first time I've needed help. A huge thank you to all.

My father was having respite care in a care home having got very confused with a urine infection combined with Alzheimer's disease. He couldn't cope at home on his own and didn't want to stay in a care home. Bluebird very quickly set up 24/7 live-in care. His carer was absolutely fantastic, she quickly
got to know him as a person. She kept him and his home immaculate and you never felt a stranger was living in his house. Unfortunately, he had a stroke and died after 8 very happy weeks in his own home.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Live-in Care services - our team are always delighted to hear that we made a real difference to your Father. We are so glad your Dad was supported to live in his own home, his Carer enjoyed her time with him and speaks of him fondly. Kindest regards for the future.

The fact that they turn up, I have never had a case of nobody turning up or turn up too late without a phone call. I value their help that they give me, they help me with getting ready in the morning and do things that I can no longer do properly. Nothing is ever too much for them to do. They always
go above and beyond to help make things easier. They are always doing the little things that others wouldn't think of and that's just great. They are very caring and I enjoy their visits very much.

Most of the help is valuable, knowing that if I can't do something someone will be coming to help me do the tasks that I struggle with. I like having someone new to chat with each day and I like them showing me their new technology. I like that nothing is too much for them and they even cook my meals
at times as it's nice to know that I can take a day off every now and then, I like to be as independent as possible.
