Most of the help is valuable, knowing that if I can't do something someone will be coming to help me do the tasks that I struggle with. I like having someone new to chat with each day and I like them showing me their new technology. I like that nothing is too much for them and they even cook my meals at times as it's nice to know that I can take a day off every now and then, I like to be as independent as possible.

Reply from Leisa MacKenzie, Director at Bluebird Care Stamford, Rutland, Peterborough & Oundle

Thank you so much for your review Hilary, it is so nice to hear that you are having such a positive experience and getting so much out of your Bluebird Care visits. We hope you continue to enjoy your independence, our carers love chatting with you too, companionship is such an important part of their job. Kindest regards Kelly Combes - Marketing Coordinator.

I really like knowing that someone is coming in to see me and help start me for the day. I find the girls who come all really lovely and very helpful, they are always very bright and cheerful which is really lovely to see. Nothing is ever too much. I really love that they are always happy to have a really good chat.

Each and every carer arrived punctually even in bad weather, snow and floods. They all used the client's first name in a friendly manner, showing interest in him as a person, not just a patient. They were gentle and concerned for the condition causing difficulties, dealing with the circumstances to the best of their ability and training.

Virtually all carers have reached a high standard in the 6 months they have been coming to me and many have done more than requested.

The evening meals have been well prepared and presented and everything has been washed and tidied away very well. Most have made time to have a brief chat and have shown concern for my welfare. My recent review meeting with the client community manager was thorough and helped me to consider my likely future needs.
