Nissi Care Solutions

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Nissi Care Solutions. Shortly before Christmas my elderly mother was discharged from hospital. At the 11th hour her previous care company were unable to take her back. It was extremely stressful. Nissi care stepped in very quickly, organizing care within hours of mum's arrival home. It was a Godsend. We have subsequently found that mum is so much better than expected and does not need the level of care anticipated, but in the weeks Nissi care supported us I cannot fault them. The staff were lovely. Their time keeping was fabulous. They were friendly and efficient. I would like to thank each and every one of them. A special thank you to the care coordinator/manager who was so supportive, efficient, reassuring and kind. I really felt she was there for me and mum and it meant a lot to me and was so comforting at a traumatic time. If mum deteriorates I will not hesitate to reach out to Nissi Care again.

Overall very impressed with the serive and care received over the last six months. I find all staff friendly, and efficient showing great respect and patience to my dear old mum of 97. She loves their caring and friendly manner.

I have had Nissi Care Solutions looking after my husband for over two years now. I cannot fault them in any way. He is bedridden, incontinent and also has short-term memory loss and is on the dementia scale. The carers are respectful, pleasant and caring people. He is unable to complete a review himself as bedridden and very frail.

The carers are brilliant with my dad and they care for all his needs. I can relax when I am away knowing he is looked after.

Nissi Care Solutions are absolutely brilliant!! I was concerned about my dignity and independence being taken away by having care at home, but now I wish I had done it much sooner. My life has been transformed by the care I have received. If anything I feel more independent now than I did before. Even though the carers have to apply medication to intimate areas of my body and do all sorts of other things, I don't feel I have lost my dignity at all. The staff at Nissi Care Solutions are absolutely brilliant, they are professional, friendly, compassionate, caring, extremely kind and bring light into my life. If I have questions or concerns the carers have been able to help me/answer my questions and if they can't help they have directed me to ring their team leader. I have rung their team leader on a few occasions and she has always been able to help me, she is also excellent, nothing is ever too much trouble, questions are answered and any concerns I might have been resolved quickly and easily.

The genuine devotion shown to my elderly mother and myself the daughter; who suffered severe anxiety before the care plan was placed. Thank you Nissi team!

Would recommend Nissi Care home care, a very approachable care company any minor issues we had at the start of my mums care package were dealt with quickly and efficiently. All the carers are efficient and friendly and take time to chat with mum which means a lot, as she is housebound. Highly recommend.

From the Coordintor through to every carer who attended our dear Mum.....couldn't fault them. Showed care love and support to both client and family. Would highly recommend.

Our family found the management very unhelpful in trying to ensure that our 85 year old Mum received the appropriate support for her assessed care needs due to a diagnosis of Dementia, namely; encouragement and assistance to shower daily, choose appropriate clothing, take medication and eat a nutritious evening meal. When we tried to follow the process outlined in the service user guide to address our concerns with the Care Manager, namely the staff rarely encouraged or supported her to do anything and the care records were poor, she cancelled the first meeting at the last minute and then threatened to walk out of the subsequent review meeting accusing our family of a "witch hunt". Her outburst upset our Mum and her abrupt, accusatory manner left a family member feeling "stupid and inferior". The lack of communication between the agency and our family and the poor care provided led to us changing agencies and submitting a report to the Care Quality Commission.
