Quality Care @ Home was established in January 2013. Its founder has worked in the Health and Social Care Sector since 1995.

Quality Care @ Home is an independent service provider with a passion for home care. The team aims to provide excellent services enabling the Herefordshire community to stay in their own homes safely. All support plans are unique to each individual and the motivated support workers are here ready to help. They not only support with personal care and medication management but also companionship, shopping and days out.

Quality Care @ Home is very proud of its CQC rating of GOOD of which was awarded in June 2021. The company has a wealth of motivated support workers who all embark on additional training to expand their knowledge; increasing their confidence in their role.

Both my parents have been receiving support from Quality Care @ Home for around 3 years with Mum being very unsteady on her feet and my dad being completely bed-bound after a stroke.
The staff are very efficient and tend to my parent's basic needs (washing, dressing, preparing meals, changing beds,
personal care, putting washing on and hanging out, administering medication, etc) four times a day plus offering some chit-chat whilst there too.
I have always found the office staff to be very helpful and efficient when I have called and staff are very friendly when I see them at my parent's house.
The manager has always been amazing with her support towards me and my parents too by advising on questions I have and informing me of things I need to do/get for my parents to help make everyone's life a little bit easier.
Caring for someone as they do is not something I have in me so having Quality Care @ Home tend to my parents is wonderful.

As my mother passed away January 27th and was in hospital from January 2nd - hence retrospective, However, this has been the best company, by a mile, that my mother had. The carers were conscientious, kind and caring. They were always bright and happy on entry. Very efficient in the giving and recording
of medication given. Cannot fault them in any way. Would highly recommend this company.

Kelly

Kelly Murray

Job Title: Proprietor/Registered Manager Joined: 2013

Kelly was born and raised in Hereford and has had a passion for homecare since she can remember. As a young child, she often went to work with her Auntie in a residential home. Kelly left school and embarked on a nursing career, but circumstances changed and she decided to try Care Homes and Home Care. Kelly found this so rewarding and learnt so much but settled into Home Care very quickly. Kelly was employed as a Support Worker in various establishments in between raising her family. Kelly always has the need to gain 'more' from the role and in 2012 after completing a diploma in Access to Higher Education, she decided to start her own company. Quality Care @ Home was established in January 2013 and has thrived ever since. Kelly worked alone for the first 6 months to ensure all of the policies and procedures were achieving the desired, tentative support and then began recruiting. In this time, Kelly has undertaken additional training to enable the company to flourish as it has.
Kelly is still in the Registered Manager role and has no plans to hand over the reins just yet!
Kelly has Level 2, 3 & 5 QCF in Health and Social care as well as Level 4 IOSH and over 25 years of experience.

I joined the team in 2018 as a support worker. Throughout the 3 years I have progressed into various roles through dedication, commitment and passion for providing a service that promotes independence and that the care they receive is person centered and that it makes the client feel safe and secure in their own home, equally I have a passion for supporting and guiding the care staff within their role in the community.
