It was a difficult decision to start carers because my Mum has always looked after herself and previously cared for my Dad.
Mum was worried about having other strangers coming into house.
However , the kindness , friendly and compassionate staff have helped my Mum and offered lots of reassurance to the family.
I would highly recommend Lakeshore carers.
The company has been flexible with changing visits and keeping consitancy with the same carers.
I know my Mum now regards the carers as friends and recently my Mum met up with some of the previous carers for lunch.

Lakeshore now visits my 99-year old father daily and once again we have a really first class team. We all communicate on a messaging app, which works really well - the team keeps my sister and I up to date with any issues.

Lakeshore have looked after my aunt for several years. Carers are friendly, easy to work with and will try different, ways of doing something if the first method doesn't work. Will also listen to suggestions or put forward requests for items/equipment if needed.

Thoroughly satisfactory. The carers are competent and invariably courteous. Even when logically I know they are busy, there is no suggestion of unusual haste. I feel with all the carers, ladies and gentlemen, that they are friends, but to an entirely professional degree.
The Care company provide a named person whom we may contact in emergency. The management keep in touch and visits from time to time.

Our mother's health had been deteriorating and after yet another hospital stay and the START Team being involved, my sister and I needed to find care for her and we chose Lakeshore. I continued caring for mum but for 1 visit a day and Lakeshore accommodated this. We worked well together and communication was excellent, through the communication book which we all wrote in, and also I was given a mobile number for queries or emergencies. Mum needed consistency and she knew her carers and their times - very important to her. All staff were very friendly and professional from carers to office staff and mum, who initially didn't want carers in, soon accepted and was happy with them. We could feel secure in the knowledge that we would be told immediately of any issues, eg falls or illness and when the ambulance was called they always stayed until I got there. Mum's needs were accommodated as they changed, enabling her to stay in her home until she died, as she wished. We recommend Lakeshore.

Our Deputy Care Manager, Benish, plays an important role in the daily running of care services, working closely with staff to ensure care is delivered safely and in line with care plans.
Our Office Manager, Zoe, looks after the day-to-day office side of the service, supporting care delivery through administration, coordination and clear communication, so the care team can focus on providing care.
