Better Home Care provided great care for both of my parents for over two years, including managing my dad's PEG tube feed. They are reliable, skilled and caring. Every time I contacted them I spoke to someone who knew my parents.

They adapted their care plans quickly each time my parents' care needs changed and were incredibly responsive when we asked for extra care hours at short notice. Thanks to their care, my parents were able to live in their own home for as long as possible. I would highly recommend them as a care agency.

Overall Experience

Have had a selection of carers, and all have been kind, considerate and, above all, respectful, with husband and have a wonderful attitude. The office is always very supportive, flexible and understanding. Very happy with the service to date, and would recommend it to others without reservation.

Overall Experience
The carers that my father-in-law spent time with have all been kind, cheerful and understanding of his needs. My father-in-law has enjoyed the company of the main carers and often talks about them.

My mother-in-law feels at ease when my father-in-law is in their care and has the confidence to go out for a few hours, knowing he is safe. The very few small issues that occurred were easily addressed and we felt that our concerns were taken seriously every time.

Overall, excellent. Time is short and rarely I have to take a cooked meal out of the oven. Microwave meals are never a problem. The biggest problem is bedmaking. They have to make my bed while I am washing in the kitchen so cannot advise. Recently, they have usually done it well but there are many ways to get it wrong. The worst, unusual, is to leave the undersheet in a mess so I have to remake the bed.

The friendliness of carers is very important!

I am not happy having a late morning call as the nights are long enough when I am normally in bed by 20:45.

Overall Experience

The carers are very polite and friendly they go beyond my expectations. It's nice when the carer like to have a conversation with me and laugh. If there is anything that I can't do myself they are willing to help. When I can't get up in the morning the carer allows me to rest until lunchtime and then they let me have a wash or a shower.

Overall Experience

Better Home Care have been looking after my mother, she is now 95, for about 15 months. The carers look after her wonderfully and are very friendly. It is a great relief to me to know that she is cared for so well, morning and evening. I can phone the office when necessary and always have a lovely conversation. My problems/views are listened to where applicable and acted on. A huge thank you to you all.
