Bluebird have been a delight to deal with. Positive, kind, helpful and sensitive to our needs. The carers have been pleasant, kind and supportive. I have no hesitation in recommending them most highly.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're really pleased you've had such a positive experience with our team.
Bluebird are a remarkable company. Their care, patience and skill is second to none. I live in Devon and do not get to see my brother as much as I would love to but with Bluebird taking care of him, I know that he is being very well cared for. I cannot recommend Bluebird Care enough and thank them for everything they do.
Thank you so much Sarah for your lovely words and for trusting us with his care and support. It really means a lot to hear how reassured you feel, and we genuinely enjoy supporting him. Your appreciation will mean so much to the whole team.
courteous and understanding. All of them are pleasant to be with, and that makes being with them
a pleasure, and makes my husband feel at ease.
One can recognise that all the carers have been well trained. We also find it is a pleasure to meet up occasionally with the supervisor, who comes to visit. In this way we can relate to her any concerns
should they arise - although to date there have been none
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a great deal to us to hear that your husband feels comfortable, well cared for, and at ease with our team. We're so pleased that you've had such a positive experience, and your feedback will be shared with the carers and supervisor, it will mean a lot to them.
Six months ago I knew I needed some help and luckily I found Bluebird Care. I really like the fact that it is very local, and everyone in the office is approachable, friendly and very supportive.
Our carers are lovely, always cheerful, and so kind and helpful, it has definitely made a difference to both of us. I also value the continuity of carers, which I think is very important.
We really look forward to seeing them, and their morning visits leave us with a positive outlook for the rest of the day.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. It truly means a lot to hear that our support is making such a positive difference to you both.
Previous Experience: At the time of Bluebird's introduction, we had had some 4 years connection with another agency - on a morning only basis. We tended to see a single carer during that time (although that individual changed from time to time). It was only after closing our relationship with that agency that I realised that we had not had one visit from management - whether an assessment at the outset or any check-ups between. We had had a very positive introduction and established a good rapport with the key management early on. That good management withdrew at some stage and a serious deterioration in service rapidly ensued.
Bluebird: I hope that the foregoing comparison will indicate why we admire Bluebird so much. With only perhaps a couple of carers (of very many) falling below the high standard that you and we would expect and hope for ( and, on each such occasion, not seen again). Especially impressed by the very high quality of the carers and their continuous patience and kindness both to my wife and to me. I positively enjoy working with each of them in what I regard as an overall task which deserves more than a single individual involved. I need to comment on the remarkable input from the more senior staff of whom we have got to know 3 well due to their regular visits (some arranged in advance and some unannounced - which is, again a very impressive feature and reassuring for us as a family).
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We're truly delighted to hear that both our carers and management team have been able to provide the quality, consistency, and reassurance you and your wife deserve. Your kind words mean a great deal to us all, and we'll continue to do our very best to support you both with patience, kindness, and care.
Bluebird carers looked after my friend for eighteen months, starting when she was discharged from hospital into palliative care at home, and then - even though her health improved - when she remained bed bound, and suffering from dementia. Bluebird carers were kind, skilled, always punctual, and trained to deal with dementia. They gave excellent care. We completely trusted them and we also enjoyed their company. The manager lived close by, and often came by, so it was easy to discuss any changes which were needed to medications or to the Care Plan. If any problems arose -for example, difficulties in eating - carers could call Bluebird for advice. I cannot recommend Bluebird too highly.
Thank you so much, Stefanie for your heartfelt and generous words. We feel truly honoured to have provided the support needed and are grateful for the trust you placed in us. It means a great deal to know that our care made a positive difference.
Bluebird Hampstead and Camden are exemplary in providing support and practical assistance. Whoever you deal with is hugely kind and understanding and they help navigate the challenges we're all facing in keeping someone in their own home.
Thank you, Ben. So good to hear about us being able to help you navigate what is typically a difficult journey.
We researched care providers and narrowed our selection to two possibilities. Only Bluebird Care had the flexibility we need. In every way the company has gone on and exceeded expectations. The wonderful care giver in our home is now a friend for life.
We are so pleased so hear we have exceeded expectations. Thank you.
I do feel that I am getting value for money. Importantly, both ladies are good communicators and also with my wife.
I randomly chose Bluebird Care and I know I made the right choice. I would always recommend Bluebird to anyone who might need help with care.
My carers are totally reliable, caring and provide the excellent help which I need.
Martin, we are really pleased that you are so happy with the care and support we have provided. We appreciate you taking the time to write this review.
It is with heavy hearts that we have had to give notice to Bluebird due to my mother’s care being taken over by the local council. The service my mother has received over the past two years has been outstanding. From the very beginning, the team have been empathic, kind and knowledgeable. The regular care workers have been just amazing and I know the whole family will miss them. I cannot recommend Bluebird highly enough. Thank you!
We are really sad not to be able to carry on providing care and support to your mother. This is feedback is lovely to read, thank you so much.
Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead provided support care when he started needing support, in the form of midday home visits of an hour each, gradually building to several visits a week, and help with:-
Taking medication [a lot] regularly and in order. Shopping; keeping diary; occasional basic IT support with e-mails, online banking; being present when showering in case.
Recovery after falls, checking the fridge and kitchen cleanliness etc [not cleaning].
Monitoring and assisting, sometimes accompanying, to local medical appointments, collecting prescriptions.
Wardrobe upgrades
General companionship
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I feel confident with my carer, she had control when she took me abroad. I feel she was excellent in everything she did for me and we worked as a team. She went beyond expectations and I also feel that the Bluebird Care team supported me with booking and arranging the holiday and had good communication. The supervisor had good attention to detail and was my main point of contact, I felt supported the whole time.
Thank you so much for your lovely words.
The office staff were excellent and efficient in their response to calls and requests.
Thank you. We always work hard to react quickly and be efficient.
Wonderful care agency with efficient professional staff. All are incredibly caring and compassionate yet objective. They are reliable and my sister looks forward to their visits. These are documented daily which enables me to be in the loop.
Thank you so much for this great feedback. We are so pleased to learn that your sister looks forward to her visits.
We have had an excellent part-time carer for my husband since he was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2018, since a recurrence in 2022 we had extra carers 24/7 doing day and night shifts. All have been capable, reliable and trustworthy and a pleasure to have around. They look after my welfare as well as my husband's.
Thank you. It has been a pleasure to work with you and support your husband over the last few years.
We are very happy with the care Bluebird has provided for our stepmother. The carer has been amazing and has gone above and beyond during the end stages of her life.
Thank you very much for this positive review Alison.
To summarise I would recommend highly the team at Bluebird Camden and Hampstead if you have any care needs, as peace of mind that your family member is being cared for well is priceless.
Janis, this is so good to hear and we really appreciate this feedback.
But I don't like being sent younger carers and having to show them everything that needs doing.
Thank you for your review. We have taken onboard your comments.
I have balance problems and a deteriorating spine which makes walking difficult. I was looking for someone once a week to assist me and get me out of the house. I had parks, galleries and museums on my wish list. Then it was March 2020 and Covid-19 happened. All the above had to be changed to ‘taking exercise’ and buying oddments from local chemist and food shops. Occasionally, we would take a taxi to the bank at Marylebone for a change of scene, though everything was shut. Fortunately, I have the most wonderful, helpful and patient carer and her cheerful companionship has helped me through the lonely monotonous lockdowns. It meant my daughter, who lives out of London, was able to resume teaching without constantly worrying how I was. I have high praise for the office staff too. They have kept going in their friendly way, politely and efficiently, which cannot always have been easy working from home. I have the highest praise for Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead and would definitely recommend them.
It has been a pleasure supporting you over the last 12 months. We are so pleased that you are happy with the care we have provided. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review.
Bluebird Camden provided day and night care for my terminally ill 93-year-old mother. They were very kind, gentle, responsive to and respectful of her needs and her preferences. They made sure I was aware of important issues such as skincare, and of course, dealt with these in their care of her. They provided emergency care at short notice and were very courteous, reliable and efficient - very easy to deal with and accessible. I would definitely engage them again if the need arose.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are really pleased you had a positive experience and that we had the opportunity to care for your mother. It is brilliant to hear you would engage us again in the future if the need arose.
