I am a private carer and needed an agency to bridge the care I was providing to my elderly client as her condition deteriorated and I can not recommend Bluebird enough. The member of staff who I initially spoke to, was so helpful and understanding of a quite complicated situation. The supervisor and the carers were all so helpful, smiley and very willing. The lady who arranges the schedules (I think) added in extra visits as short notice, nothing was to much trouble. The communication seems to be spot on and that is key in this sector. In fact, everybody I spoke to, throughout the last couple of months at Bluebird was brilliant. This is how an agency should work - they are a breath of fresh air and supported my client well and also gave me peace of mind. Thanks, Bluebird.
We appreciated you sharing this feedback. Providing peace of mind is at the core of what we do, it is lovely to hear that your dealings with everyone on the team were consistently positive. Thanks again.
We have had a fantastic experience with Bluebird Care, and I would highly recommend them. They got the measure of my mum and her needs very quickly and assigned a fantastic carer who suits Mum perfectly. She has revolutionised Mum’s life and ours and enabled us all to live a much easier life. It’s very hard to know where to start when you first find that a relative needs care and Bluebird were and are very supportive.
The team are so pleased to hear that they have revolutionised both yours and your mum's life. Thank you for sharing your experience of Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead, it is lovely to hear what a difference we have made.
Dreadful, dreadful experience dealing with this company. Where do I begin to start? A fiasco from start to finish. Some carers (nice uniform but that’s about it) bad. Some lazy, some incompetent, some ok. The admin staff member is a bully. I mean a bully the way she spoke time and again, even though I was nothing but polite. Was a disgrace. We were paying ourselves, not using social services money but must've been not paying enough £70 per week as quickly and abruptly got knocked off their books just before Xmas. Probably to make way for bigger paying clients. Left me in the lurch with no carers at all. Had to knock the carers down to one hour as was walking out and leaving my dad after half an hour on his own. A vulnerable dementia sufferer, time, and time again it was happening. I let them get away with it then when I complained it was "oh carer ill/got to pick child up from school", making excuses for the carer. I couldn’t believe it while being sarcastic to me!! Must've gone through 8 different carers in 9 months.
Dear Denise, We're sorry that your experience with Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead did not meet your expectations and that you felt the need to leave this review. We are aware that we will not always receive five-star reviews, but the team work extremely hard to make sure this is the aim as a...
My aunt, aged 95, was diagnosed with late-onset Alzheimer's disease. In November 2017 I was asked by the consultant to arrange daycare for her (she was a self-funder). From the lists of agencies given me by the social worker, I chose Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead as it was the only agency with an outstanding rating by the CQC. They provided carers to wash and dress her, cook her meals, clean her flat, and do the laundry and shopping. There was continuity of care as the same carer did the majority of the day's visits and the laundry, cleaning and shopping. This helped my aunt to build rapport. After every visit, I received a detailed report on-line. The carers were conscientious, intelligent and caring towards my aunt. From August 2018, I was told by the consultant to arrange care throughout the night. Bluebird provided this "waking nights" service. In February 2019 my aunt ceased to be a self-funder, and she moved into the care home in June. The Bluebird carers visited her as a friend.
Much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to write feedback about the care and support we provided.
I cared for my mother, who had advanced Alzheimer’s, for the past 4 years and used Bluebird Care for support with her care needs. I can honestly say, that I was so very fortunate and grateful to have the amazing carers that I did. Mum's regular carers were knowledgeable, empathetic, professional and client-focused. A few took caring to a different level and were excellent, resourceful and effective. They taught me so much as well as learning themselves from our experience as a family. They followed the care plan implicitly, understanding and respecting the demands and behaviours of mum's illness and provided much needed emotional and practical support and solutions as well. I will miss this company’s input into our lives and can’t recommend them enough.
The same applies to other carers I have had at the weekends, so my general experience is good.
Bluebird works hard to maintain high standards, not just with the carers but also with the administrative staff who are unfailingly polite and helpful.
We are both happy that we chose Bluebird as the agency to provide the care my husband now needs.
Sue, thank you for sharing your experiences of Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead and the support we provide your husband. Best regards.

Daphne, a big thank you from the team at Bluebird Care. It’s always great to receive positive reviews, we appreciate you taking the time to do so. Best wishes, George.
I would recommend Bluebird to anyone with very elderly parents, especially those who wish to remain living in their own homes if at all possible.
Hi John. Thank you very much for your review.
We use Bluebird Care Camden and Hampstead when we stay regularly in a London hotel for weekends away. We really enjoy visiting theatres and seeing friends and family. My partner requires a lot of moving, handling and personal care. Then hoisting into her wheelchair, as she has a progressive physical condition. The carers do this with professionalism, understanding and dignity. They are always on time and give us the opportunity to get away from home. They are consistent with the carers provided. I could not manage on my own and they provide a real lifeline for us to enjoy some form of normality and make the most of a very difficult life. The staff in the office are also extremely helpful and professional. Thank you, Bluebird!
Hello, I have sent you a private message of thanks for your feedback.
Bluebird Care have been amazing in caring for an elderly friend who lives alone and wants to remain as independent as possible. They have treated her with incredible dignity and respect her wishes in every way, treating her with kindness even when she is often angry at her situation. The staff and management are always contactable and listen to your concerns as a friend and have always been able to provide advice and suggestions. The staff who deliver the care are amazing - kind, friendly, concerned and incredibly patient. I recommend them in the highest possible terms.
Hello Chris. This is wonderful feedback, I am so pleased that your contact and experiences with Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead have been so positive and ultimately that the care we have provided is to the very high standard we aim for on a daily basis. I am extremely proud of the team. I appreciate you taking the time to write these lovely words. Thank you, Karen
Carers brought much light into Dad’s life by chatting with him, making nourishing food, and wheelchair walks to his beloved local park. This put immense glory back into Dad’s life, making him very happy.
When Bluebird arrived in the family home Dad was wheelchair bound. With kindness and encouragement, Dad was soon able to enjoy walks in the street, accompanied by carers.
Bluebird staff were amazing, always kind, friendly, respectful and immensely skilled.
We would like to emphasise that management are exceptional. It was the commitment of management that ensured that Dad was cared for and thriving under challenging safeguarding conditions. We would particularly like to thank the lady who managed Dad’s care.
We have total trust in Bluebird and wholeheartedly recommend their service to others.
Bluebird surpassed our expectations in every way.
Thanks again
Excellent care provider. Management provide wonderful supervision and checks. Carers have been very well chosen. Carers have fitted into my mother's needs and respected her dignity. She has managed to remain in her own home for much longer than I thought possible. Carers have also shown companionship and great kindness and also made grandchildren feel welcome.
Thank you for your review.
To begin with, the management was inadequately organised in that they did, not communicating with me to alert me to changes in scheduling. After I complained about this, they are trying harder now to keep me informed of the dates and times when their staff is scheduled to visit me. The invoicing also left something to be desired. On the first invoice, the prices quoted were not correct and a second copy of the same invoice arrived several days after I had paid. After I raised these shortcomings with the management staff, I have been promised a better service for my second invoice.
Bluebird Care (Camden & Hampstead) have been caring for my elderly uncle for almost two years. He has indicated that he is very happy with the care/support he has received. When I have been in contact with Bluebird Care staff, they have been very polite, helpful and efficient, and been able, for example, to accompany my uncle to medical appointments as well as visit him on a daily basis. I am very impressed with the service we have received from Bluebird Care.
The service Bluebird Care gives is, in our view, exceptional. Bluebird runs a most caring agency and all our dealings with the organisation have been very satisfactory. Your two operatives, if I may so designate them, have been very kind, punctual and caring. We could not be more delighted than we are with the service we are receiving - long may it go on.
