The Review Score of 9.5 (9.500) out of 10 for Adico Care is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 5.000 for Adico Care is calculated as follows: ( (30 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 30 Ratings = 5
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Adico Care is based on 5 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4.5
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Registered Care Manager
Joined: 2015
I have been with Adico Care for over 10 years, 8 years as the Registered Manager. I love my job, our team are amazing and the best part is we get to support individuals and assist them to remain independent and to stay in their own homes for as long as they can. It’s very rewarding! I am a dog lover and have two adorable Lhasa Apso’s named Archie and Poppy … they love to go visiting our clients and hiding their treats to find when they next return! I love to go to the theatre and to the cinema and also love to cook and bake my own bread, recently trying to perfect a sourdough starter, which has been a chore but I think I have mastered it! I love to holiday in the beautiful British countryside, with our dogs and hope one day to have a motor home to roam from coast to coast.
Job Title: Field Care Supervisor
Joined: 2013
I have been with Adico care for nearly 12 years. I started in 2013 when the company first started out in Hertford as a part time carer. This suited my needs as I had a one year old at the time and needed the flexibility. I was able to work in the mornings and evenings around my partner which was a huge help as it saved a lot in child care. Over the years I went full time and eventually became part of the office team. I have seen many changes with Adico over the years and met some amazing people along the way. I enjoy hearing about their lives and the story’s they have.
Outside of Adico I enjoy a quiet life, I have four cats which I adore. I also enjoy playing computer games with my daughter and spending time with her. I love to go to the cinema to see the latest scary or dinosaur related film.
In the future I would love to travel to Austraila or America
Job Title: Care Co-ordinator
Joined: 2016
Having been a dedicated member of the Adico team for the past nine years, I've had the privilege of experiencing various roles within the company. My journey began as a Carer for 18 months, providing direct support to our clients. This foundational experience was followed by two and a half years as a Supervisor and then nearly 5 years as a Care Co-ordinator, where I further developed my understanding of client needs and team support. I've continued to enjoy my role, finding immense satisfaction in helping others and ensuring the delivery of quality care to the individuals we support. I have genuinely loved every position I've held at Adico, and I am proud to be part of a team that makes such a positive impact on people's lives. When I'm not at work, much of my time is joyfully spent looking after my two beautiful children. In the quieter moments at the end of the day, I also enjoy relaxing by watching a good series with an iced coffee and some chocolate.
