Care Matters emerged from first-hand experiences with disappointing care standards for their own loved ones. Driven by a determination to make a positive impact, they established a local business specialising in home care services throughout the North East of England.
Care Matters' home care services are meticulously tailored to each individual, offering complete flexibility. The goal is to deliver the level of care at home that the Care Matters team would...

Staff always pleasant and respectful.
My mother would prefer not to use the service but appreciates that someone has to do her cleaning.
It is perhaps worth noting that her memory is increasingly becoming a problem and could impact service requirements in the future.
We acknowledge your comments regarding your mother's memory and recognise that her needs may change over...
Care matters have been looking after my wife Christine for 18 month now and while I have no complaints about the actual care because all the girls are brilliant and treat Christine with great dignity and respect if it's reliability your looking for they are very poor their rota is terrible just in the last 2 weeks alone I have had to cancel calls and deal with Christine myself because they are constantly late for calls and when you ring they have a book of excuses like problems with previous call or traffic bad however who ever the calls are after Christine they will always be early because they never here for full call 45 minute calls are regular finished in 30 as I say you can't fault the girls but their coardinators really need improvement
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're very sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet expectations. This is not the level of care we aim to provide. Registered Manager, Michelle, will contact you, to understand your concerns further, address the issues that you have been experiencing and agree a plan moving forward to improve the service you receive.
My ratings say it all really but it's the going above and beyond that makes CMH excellent; from the moment of arrival it's what can I tidy, put away, hang up. The carer thinks for herself. There are plenty of regular jobs, but being versatile makes the service first class. Althoughthis review has January 20255 the same would apply for the previous twelve months. Very pleased.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service, we're delighted that you are very pleased with the service you receive. We agree that our care staff are fantastic and we will pass on your kind words to those who support you. Thanks again.
"Nice people who are very pleasant." - A quote from my mum.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete the review, it is greatly appreciated and we're delighted that your mum has had a good experience with our service.
Efficient, kind, professional and reliable. Carers arrive on time and conduct themselves well, my Mother has confidence in them. Very much appreciate the flexibility of management with regard to extra bookings. Impressed with their willingness to go the extra mile - putting out or bringing in the bins; putting out the milk bottles for collections; and accompanying my Mother to a theatre performance. Very glad to have found Care Matters.

This was a completely new experience for me, but any worries were soon banished by the helpful and friendly attitude of the management and staff. The staff are all very punctual, friendly and patient towards my husband, even when he was being a little difficult with new people. I would definitely recommend Care Matters to anyone asking my opinion or advice. The staff are helpful and willing to adapt to anything that I asked or suggested.
Dear Pamela, many thanks for your feedback. Since the new manager started with Care Matters, my care package for my partner has improved as I always find it easy to communicate and they always listen to my concerns. The manager and care coordinator make a lovely team and they are always open to help.

A really caring company who always listen and have the person they are caring for best interests at heart, they are always available which is comforting for us as a family to know. We can call during office hours but also out of office hours and the call is always answered.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, our care team are committed to delivering high-quality care services, and it is always nice to hear that we are succeeding.
We have been very pleased with the care and attention my mum has received. When I have been concerned staff have responded quickly and reassured me.
We are grateful for your kind words and will pass on your appreciation to the team of care staff who support your Mum.
Care Matters provided my mum the support to be able to come home from hospital and spend her last days with her family. They came to the hospital within hours and allowed mum to be home in just over 24 hours. Excellent service, Carers were very caring and nothing was too much.
