Helping Hands have been providing care for my 93 year old mother since June 2025 following discharge from hospital, initially once a week to help with showering, but now several times a week to support her increasing needs. I have also been able to arrange temporary additional cover for when I have been away on holiday which has been very much appreciated. They have provided excellent and compassionate care which have allowed my mother to remain independent in her own home. The staff are lovely and I can not recommend Helping Hands highly enough.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it.
We are very pleased to hear that we have been able to support your mother following her discharge from hospital and adapt the care provided as her needs have increased over time. It is reassuring to know...
They were also very prompt when Mum needed to increase the care she was receiving.
Good Morning Neil,
We are pleased to hear that Helping Hands have made such a positive difference to your Mum's wellbeing, and that the care and support she received has been so valuable. It is also wonderful to...
Helping Hands have travelled with us on my mum's Alzheimer's journey for a number of years now. The carers and office staff really care about my mum and have always been compassionate and supportive to us all. Always going out of their way to accommodate any extra care whenever it is needed. I feel my mum is treated with respect and dignity and couldn't wish for more and would recommend Helping Hands without hesitation.

Dad agreed to meeting Paul who was very understanding with my parents , both in their late 80's & somewhat confused at times. Dad agreed to a trial of twice a week & he couldn't have been happier . Helping hands do their best to keep to the same lady for each visit , Dawn & both Dad & mum think she's great.
As a family we are very happy with the service proved & the peace of mind that dad is " in good hands "
We are delighted that Paul made such a positive first...
Mum has only been a client for a few months but we can already see the beneficial boost to her life that her so-far weekly visit from Helping Hands staff brings her. Also, for me not being that local, it's great to know that the service delivered by Helping Hands staff allows both Mum and myself the reassurance that, should problems begin to arise, I will as agreed between us be given a heads up to take action as assessed by their professional friendly client visitors. It's also very reassuring to know that Helping Hands care could be rapidly stepped up if the need arose. During the assessment process there was ample opportunity to define exactly what it was re wished Helping Hands to do for us and when, how often, how and who we wanted her visitation team to be. Since then they have stuck to the agreed terms, delivering friendly, on-time, reliable, good-value professional support in the way we wanted. Happy to recommend.
Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear how much your mum is already benefiting from her weekly visits and that our support gives both of you reassurance, especially with you living further away. It is great to know the assessment process felt thorough and that the...

Pleased with the support and encouragement.
Did all I asked efficiently and with good humour.
It's great being able to speak to someone and be put through quickly. Since going with them, I have had understanding and help. They are always happy easy to talk to. The carers are fantastic and extremely helpful.
Best wishes.
All my service providers are competent, professional and very nice people. I would thoroughly recommend them to any person thinking of using your company. They deal with me as if I am a friend, not a client.
