Helping Hands have travelled with us on my mum's Alzheimer's journey for a number of years now. The carers and office staff really care about my mum and have always been compassionate and supportive to us all. Always going out of their way to accommodate any extra care whenever it is needed. I feel
my mum is treated with respect and dignity and couldn't wish for more and would recommend Helping Hands without hesitation.

All carers we have used are friendly and caring - they take time with my mum and she loves their chats. They perform all duties asked of them and are prompt and professional.
I have recommended without hesitation to my friends in similar circumstances to our own.

Helping hands have been supporting my dad twice a week so he can shower safely. He is extremely pleased with the service provided, this is a big deal to us as a family, considering he was adamant that he would not have a carer, but, when he realised he couldn't manage without help , mums arthritis
is too severe for her to continue helping, he agreed to having a carer as long as it was a man, unfortunately this proved difficult as they are not that many male carers out there.
Dad agreed to meeting Paul who was very understanding with my parents , both in their late 80's & somewhat confused at times. Dad agreed to a trial of twice a week & he couldn't have been happier . Helping hands do their best to keep to the same lady for each visit , Dawn & both Dad & mum think she's great.
As a family we are very happy with the service proved & the peace of mind that dad is " in good hands "
Reply from Katie Rathbone, Customer Experience Specialist at Helping Hands Home Care (Norwich)Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful feedback about your fathers experience. It is truly heartwarming to hear how well he has settled into receiving support, especially given how hesitant he initially felt about having a carer.
We are delighted that Paul made such a positive first impression and supported both your parents with patience and understanding. It is also lovely to hear how much your dad and mum appreciate Dawns visits consistency is incredibly important, and the team will be so pleased to know she is making such a meaningful difference.
It is clear how much care and thought your family have put into ensuring your dad feels comfortable, supported, and respected, and we are honoured to play a part in helping him remain safe and independent at home. Knowing that this gives you all peace of mind truly means a lot.
Thank you once again for taking the time to share your experience.
Kindest regards

Mum has only been a client for a few months but we can already see the beneficial boost to her life that her so-far weekly visit from Helping Hands staff brings her. Also, for me not being that local, it's great to know that the service delivered by Helping Hands staff allows both Mum and myself the
reassurance that, should problems begin to arise, I will as agreed between us be given a heads up to take action as assessed by their professional friendly client visitors. It's also very reassuring to know that Helping Hands care could be rapidly stepped up if the need arose. During the assessment process there was ample opportunity to define exactly what it was re wished Helping Hands to do for us and when, how often, how and who we wanted her visitation team to be. Since then they have stuck to the agreed terms, delivering friendly, on-time, reliable, good-value professional support in the way we wanted. Happy to recommend.
Reply from Katie Rathbone, Customer Experience Specialist at Helping Hands Home Care (Norwich)Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear how much your mum is already benefiting from her weekly visits and that our support gives both of you reassurance, especially with you living further away. It is great to know the assessment process felt thorough and that the agreed plan has been followed with friendly, reliable, ontime care.
Your kind words about the team and your recommendation mean a great deal to us.

The Carers arrive mostly at their allotted time. They are always very cheerful when they walk in. If they are my regular ones they know my routine and what i like them to do. I do find it frustrating when a new one arrives and we have to go over where things go and what is required. Not their fault
i know.
I am always very pleased that when i phone in for extra hours for hospital/dental/doctors appointments the office are always very good at sorting this for me.
Reply from Katie Rathbone, Customer Experience Specialist at Helping Hands Home Care (Norwich)Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that your carers mostly arrive at their allotted times and that they bring a cheerful and positive attitude to each visit. It is lovely to know that your regular carers understand your routine well and support you in the way you prefer.
We completely understand how it can feel frustrating when a new carer attends and needs guidance on where things are and what is required. While this is sometimes unavoidable, your feedback is very valuable, and we will share it with the team to help us continue improving continuity wherever possible.
We are also delighted to hear that you find our office team helpful when arranging additional hours for appointments. It is important to us that this process is smooth and reassuring for you.
