We needed home care for my mother at short notice following an unexpected hospital stay. From the beginning, Fortune Life Home Care were reassuring, professional and caring. They took time to get to know my mother and father and understand their needs in a courteous, respectful way. They now care as much for my father as my mother as his needs have increased.

I have always found all the staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

Having had the experience of different agencies in the past, I am pleased with the care agency performance-wise. It's not only an agency and also are very caring towards my son - the client. I also appreciate the punctuality and efficient approach to us the clients. My feelings of a care agency are proved by the carer towards my son and I appreciate it.

I have used the service for 2-3 years for my husband until he died recently and I have used it for myself sometimes since then. The staff member who comes is thoroughly reliable, knowledgeable and professional and I have every confidence in her.

They go way beyond the call of duty.

The care offered to my mother in law has always been excellent. They kept us well informed of any concerns, dealt with issues as they arose; would do extra time when a problem occurred, e.g go round and give her lunch if she refused to go to the Day Club etc. We believed Mum was unsafe living alone, but she didn't agree and could put up a very good act when social services assessed her. Eventually, a situation arose which made social services agree with us and then they wanted her in a home more or less immediately! Unfortunately, we were going on holiday and lived 2hrs away. We contacted the manager of Fortune Life and Mum's carer. They responded in a manner that went beyond the call of duty. The carer packed Mum's bag etc., took it to the home so social services could deal with the transition and generally supported us to make the necessary arrangements for as smooth a transition as this difficult move could be. Their help meant we went away with peace of mind.

Very friendly, efficient and professional. My dad was very well cared for and was sad to say goodbye when he was able to manage without them.

My wife and I went away for 3 weeks and we asked them to support her in any way that was necessary while we were gone. She did have some problems, but they were taken care of, so we had a stress free trip. Without the support of Fortune Life, looking after my mother would be so much more difficult, they are a life line!

Treat my mother like family.

Fortune Life have provided my father with excellent care. They were all kind, considerate, patient and always very willing to accommodate any requests or changes if possible. They also kept me well informed of my father's condition and were always happy to discuss any concerns. We're very sorry they can no longer cover our area but would have them back any time. A wonderful service by very lovely people.

The service was provided with efficiency and compassion, we had asked for two visits during a busy morning and evening period which was provided.
