Although she has received care for the past 7 years it was necessary to change her care company.
There have been some 'teething problems', mainly in keeping to the agreed timing and providing a fairly small number of carers.
The care provided has been good and I have felt that my aunt is safe in her home.
The change has been difficult for her to accept, but she is building relationships with her carers, and problems with the timing of care are being addressed.
My father is completely happy with Kare Plus. He says everyone is very kind and caring and competent.
A very pleasant experience. I find all those who come to be lovely people and call them all my lovely surprises.
The client is very happy with the service. He feels more comfortable with a regular carer than different one each day.
My mother's carer from Kare Plus is a friendly lady who does her job which makes mum feel comfortable having someone help her wash and dress. She chats to mum while working which also makes her relax. Mum is hard of hearing so people tend not to speak to her as much as they would have done years ago.
The ladies have been very kind and considerate to my mother and worked with myself and husband to keep her comfortable.
The care team at Kare Plus generally supply a good service, although they have been known not to show up at all for some calls. My mother's needs require her to have carers attend to her washing and dressing. Sometimes the morning calls are as late as 11.00 am, sometimes not showing at all (this has only happened a couple of times).
Thank you for the feedback, I can only apologise for your disappointment in the service your Mum has received. The reason that the carers have been late for your mum's calls recently is that we have a service user before her who unfortunately has been very unwell and has had to have an ambulance...
I am very satisfied with the care provided. It is impossible for me to assess the carers. They are knowledgeable and wise at their job. Extremely efficient but talkative as well.

I have lived in Wickford since I was born I moved to Malta for 12 years and had 2 beautiful girls I moved back to Wickford to be nearer my family I have worked in care homes and NHS but I much prefer working in domiciliary care, I come to MD Care in February 2020 where I was a carer and then become a senior, I have always liked the medication side of caring, I become a medication officer for MD Care in May 2021, I have completed my NVQ in health and social care level 2 and 3 and now I'm working towards my level 5 I also have qualifications for train the trainer for SOVA, Medication.
I previously worked with children with Emotional behaviour disorders in a residential home for two years, alongside this I worked with families being a family support worker in the community. Having two children myself, I found it very difficult working the long hours along with the mental strain of working with children.
I joined MD Care as a domiciliary carer in October of 2021, I realized how much I loved working with adults and I wanted to learn more and do more for the clients I worked with. I am now working towards my level 4 NVQ in Adult Social Care and have completed training the trainer in Manual handling, Medication awareness and SOVA and the care certificate.
I have lived in Wickford for over 50 years, and I have worked in care for over 20 years, in different settings, in a care home, with learning difficulty adults in their own home and domiciliary care, I have gained my NVQ level 3 and all in house qualifications I have been with MD Care for 4 years I really like working for them the office staff are really approachable the office door is always open for a coffee and chat, they always have biscuits on offer.
Other carers are friendly and work as a team always willing to help each other out. I always recommended people to come and work for MD Care the best well-run care company I have worked for.
I have lived in Wickford all my life, I have got 2 children, a little Jack Russell called Busta and a tortoise called Trevor. I have been working in a caring role since I was 18, from learning difficulty adults to being a private carer. I started with MD care 7 years ago when it was Kare Plus and worked my way up to different positions within the company, I really enjoy my job, no two days are the same. I have completed train the trainer in Manual handling.
