I have found all your nurses to be efficient and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to friends.
Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely feedback!
When our new arrangement began with live in care, and the first time my mother had someone outside the family in her home. I was told that Arbour Care would give me my life back. Not only has this proved for the most part to be true, but I believe that the compassion, care and protection that their carers have provided has improved and extended my mother's life.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We've all found your wonderful mother a joy to care for over the years!
My mother has been receiving 24 hour live-in care for the past five years. We are very fortunate to have three very caring ladies who between them provide excellent cover & I cannot express sufficiently the commitment and caring approach that each of these ladies provide for her. To be able to have this consistency of carers has been such an advantage for my mother who otherwise would have found it a challenge when a changeover is required. With recent changes in her physical and mental health the managers at Arbour have taken steps to review and therefore understand her personal situation, liaising with the GP and suggesting solutions which have resulted in a successful regime which now appears to be working well. This personal approach to resolve individual issues has been a great help and support to me and I feel that I can approach the managers at Arbour with any specific issues that might occur and that they will do their best to find a way forward.
Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words and lovely feedback about our team. It is always a pleasure to support your mother, she is a wonderful lady.
Initial meeting of care manager was warm and quickly developed into suggestions I might need to give further consideration to. The 2 main carers (one following the first's stay) were both calm, professional and very kind and friendly. I couldn't have chosen better carers myself. They were both such lovely friends. I seriously would recommend them both and the agency.
Arbour is a bespoke provider of live-in care, we take pride in matching our carers to our clients individual needs. Thank you for your lovely review of our service.
I can not thank them enough for their efforts which went way beyound just providing careers. I would strongly recommend them to any one.
Thank you for your review. Arbour Care's priority is putting the safety and happiness of our clients first. Occasionally we do need to refer our Clients to recommended partners. It has been a pleasure to support you both.
I joined Arbour as a client in February 2025. Although admittedly the first carer they provided was not a very good match, I cannot fault the effort the agency made to fix the problem. The carer was asked to leave the placement and the care manager himself stepped in to take over for the week until a new carer could be sourced. This all happened while I was at work. It was very impressive and it made me feel very valued as their client.
I now have a new carer whom I cannot fault. I'm very happy, and very grateful.
My friend has received continuous live in care for the last three years from Arbour Care. All the carers they have provided have been very good and the last two carers, who have worked back to back, have been excellent in every way. They have always accompanied her to church and church activities which has been a real blessing. They have become very fond of my friend and she of them. The owner was very helpful in coming to see my friend and assessing her needs before we decided that live in care was appropriate and this was much appreciated as it gave my friend confidence that this was the right thing for her at that particular phase of her life. The staff are extremely friendly and have always been very co-operative. If I have had any queries they have always been extremely helpful and assisted me in every way. I have no hesitation in recommending their services.
Arbour would like to thank you for your review. It is always a pleasure to support clients with activities out in the community, allowing them to remain independent and live the life that they choose.
On behalf of myself and my sisters, we would like to thank the whole Arbour team that helped care for our Aunty on and off for the last 2 years. Without their help and support, she would not have been able to stay in her home which she loved. The team's communication was superb and all were professional, caring and helpful. We would highly recommend them.
Thank you on behalf of all at Arbour Companions and Care for your kind comments. It has been a pleasure to support your Aunt.
The entire team at Arbour Care has been incredibly helpful since our first meeting with them in early 2022. We like the holistic approach that Arbour Care takes, assessing the needs of individual clients and understanding the broader family context. We are confident in the dedicated and empathetic services of the carer my in-laws have had for 2 ½ years now, and appreciate the professional, responsive and kind support from the office staff, as well as the flexible and effective cover they provide during the carer's holidays. Despite my father-in-law's physical frailty and my mother-in-law's Alzheimer's, the successful result with Arbour Care enabled them to stay in their home together, which is what they most wanted. They were particularly supportive during the challenging time when my father-in-law passed away five months ago and continue to provide outstanding care to my mother-in-law today. We would recommend them highly to anyone considering hiring home care.
Arbour Care is very proud to hear that we provide outstanding care. Thank you.
As his medical conditions have become more complicated, they have supported the carer and me, finding solutions to keep him living at home.
Separately, the conversations that I had with members of their office team have been helpful and professional.
I would happily recommend their services.
It's lovely to hear that you are happy with our services and you would recommend us. Thank you.
My daughter has been receiving care from Arbour Companions & Care for the last 2 years with the agency providing live-in 24-hour care. The communication with family and clients is outstanding and I am always kept up to date. The company provides high-quality, professional carers who are well trained and monitored and this was very important to me as my daughter has acquired brain injury and can't always alert us to any concerns. The company listened carefully to our concerns when setting up the care package and matching carers to my daughter so that her care package was truly bespoke. The rates are competitive and there is a genuine impression that this company really cares about each individual. The owners themselves spent a long time visiting and getting to know my daughter in the initial stages. I have great trust in the company and would recommend them unreservedly.
It is heart warming to receive this 5-star review, thank you. It is a pleasure to support your daughter.
The care they received was so good, the carer cooked delicious meals (I need some recipe ideas !) she was company for Dad and made it possible for us to enjoy our holiday knowing there was someone available if anything was to happen.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Arbour Care to anyone looking for care providers.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, it's greatly appreciated and we look forward to supporting you again with respite care in the future.
for most of that time, covering both day and night and working in shifts. Their care has not only been professional but kind and thoughtful. My wife could not have had better treatment anywhere, and
I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
From all the team at Arbour, thank you so much for your feedback it was a pleasure to care for your wife. We wish you all the best for the future
From the initial contact to the present day Arbour Care have been outstanding in caring for my mother who has Alzheimer’s. The carers are so good and the supporting office staff so quick to implement additional requirements. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. First-class Arbour Care!
All at Arbour Care thank you for your lovely feedback, we cannot thank you enough
Arbour provided live-in carers for my wife for six years from 2017 to 2023 which included the Covid pandemic. My main impression is of a very professional organisation in which owners and staff worked all the time to provide the support the client needed at as high a standard as possible. They gave equal attention to statutory requirements, care plans and staff training and never cut any corners. They are well aware of the difference between carers who are just there to do a job and those who identify with the client. Their fees are a fair reflection of the service they give, the staff are all very pleasant to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone in need of assistance.
Thank you for your feedback. It's been an absolute pleasure to support you over the last six years. We are a small company and work by word-of-mouth recommendations.
My parents have had carers from Arbour Care for over five years. They are excellent and I have not hesitation in recommending to others.
Thank you so much for your feedback it is very much appreciated. We have enjoyed caring for both your parents and the later years of your dad, and look forward to many more.
Good with all carers and relief carers.
Arbour Companions & Care is committed to providing high-quality tailored live-in care. We are pleased that our care staff and relief staff have been good. Thank you for your review.
The ladies at Arbour have been absolutely amazing. In addition, the owner was wonderful to myself and my sister in the kindness, guidance and in the support that she gave to us. I know that without this I would have cracked at the beginning of this year. The lead carer was especially wonderful, kind, patient and loving to my father. She was unbelievably supportive as firstly his physical abilities declined and then also as Alzheimer's kicked in she aided the further delivery of support aids from the social services and got him to use them despite an initial resistance. Thus, enabling a better quality of life for my father in the last few months of his life. She did all of this whilst also managing his wife who had very different issues of her own (verbally aggressive at times due to her own dementia). My father and our lives would have been so so different had we not used Arbour. I will recommend the company without hesitation.
It is always a pleasure to receive a fabulous review, your compliments will be shared with the care team. Hearing your father had a better quality of life with our carers is fantastic. Thank you for choosing Arbour Companions & Care, specialists in live-in care for the proudly independent.
The live-in carer was brilliant. Having made herself at home over daycare previously, she was at ease and fitted in without any hassle. She made life interesting for my wife and took her out. Those who came in to assist early mornings, were efficient and respectful.
We at Arbour would like to thank you for your kind words and it means a lot to us that the service we provide is always welcomed in providing support in your home. We will pass on the positive feedback to the live-in care worker who will be pleased to know that her work was appreciated.
In the last few weeks, before my dad passed away, I was so impressed with the support, care, and compassion offered by Dad's carer. Prior to this in the months leading up to his death, he was happy, secure, and grateful for the care provided and all his carers looked after him with professionalism, efficiency, and empathy. This live-in care allowed him to stay in his own home (to die) rather than him having no choice but to go to a care home which he did not want. As a family, we would definitely recommend and always use Arbour Companions & Care. We cannot speak highly enough of the carers, their dedication, and the work they do. Thank you to all the carers and the team you were brilliant!
Thank you Sally for your feedback, your personal recommendation means so much to us.

Meet the Team (7)
My early career was spent working in various banking roles in the City of London, then in 2008, I made the move into the care industry and haven't looked back.
Working in care is always busy and often challenging, but I love helping people and working with a team that can make a real difference to people's lives. I joined Arbour Companions and Care in 2024 as Registered Manager, and I have now progressed to Operations Director too.
My role is to ensure that our team provide the best care to enable our clients to live safely at home.
In my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit, spending time with the family and going on long walks with the dog.
My varied role includes managing and supporting our office team with clinical matters, meeting with new clients to discuss their care needs and carrying out care needs assessments. I also enjoy developing relationships within healthcare settings and the local community, as part of business development. My career has been a blend of healthcare and education, having worked as a nurse in London hospitals, Marie Curie nursing, home care management, recruitment and working with children with special educational needs.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking and spending time with my family. I am a volunteer Dementia Champion in Surrey Heath, supporting families living with Dementia. This is a passion of mine, both on a personal and professional level.
I have worked in the care sector for 10 years, beginning as a carer in care homes and the mental health sector. During my time with Arbour Care, I have progressed from Care Coordinator to Senior Care Manager. My new role includes managing and supporting our field care supervisor and carers, carrying out supervisions, observations, and client well-being visits. I love getting out in the community to give hands-on support.
Having school-aged children, my spare time is spent at clubs and days out - they certainly keep me active. I have recently completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.
My varied role includes managing and supporting clients and carers, setting up their bespoke care plans, assessing their moving and handling needs and carrying out all risk assessments. I come from a pharmaceutical background, so I am also responsible for carrying out medication audits and controlled drug protocols in line with NICE guidelines. I have worked in the care sector for 30 years, in many roles from being a carer in the community to office-based roles. I enjoy going out to visit our clients in their own homes to ensure they can flourish in a safe environment.
In my spare time, I make candles.
My time is shared between the office and working out in the community, supporting our carers. My duties include carrying out medication competencies, supervising carers and building relationships with our clients and their families. I have worked in care for over six years, and I love making a difference and enabling our clients to remain in their own homes.
I have enjoyed a varied career, initially as a secondary school teacher, after which I worked in recruitment. After taking time out to start a family, I chose a new avenue of work within the care industry. I worked as the Activities Co-ordinator within care homes, which I loved and could really see the benefits that a varied programme of activity brings to people’s lives. This, in turn, has inspired us to launch Arbour Companion and Care’s Enrichment Programme to support our clients and carers. Working in the care sector is extremely rewarding, and I am looking forward to bringing my combination of skills to this role.
In my spare time, I love to go running, walk my dog, do arts & crafts projects and spend time with my family.
I came from Mauritius to the United Kingdom to study accountancy then I joined the financial services industry. I am passionate about the care industry having initially worked as a carer while studying and looking after my disabled mother-in-law for 25 years as her main carer. I thrive to help carers and clients with finance with a kind and caring approach, which is different to my initial career in financial services.
In my spare time I enjoy yoga, swimming, travelling and long walks on a beach front.
