Well, Brisca Healthcare was directly arranged from St. Luke's Hospice to assist my mother with overall daily care. Considering the nature of their job, which is undoubtedly a vocational one, I must say that they were fantastic. Each and every carer who visited my mother four times a day was phenomenal. They always arrived with a smile and were always polite and courteous to their surroundings.

Mum is 99 and had been having 1 carer once per day for just over a year , they have been reliable, patient and friendly and performed their duties in an efficient and professional manner keeping me informed of any issues. Mum recently had a stay in hospital and when discharged home I had no hesitation in recommending brisca resume carers 4 times per day (2 carers per visit) , they cared for mum for a further 2 weeks until she unable to stay at home and was relocated to a nursing home. I want to say Thank you to everyone at brisca (from the carers to office staff ) and would recommend them to anyone who needs help in caring for loved ones.

As a family we wanted to care for dad ourselves, but the 5 days before dads passing we needed special help with moving dad in the bed. The care, attention to detail, support especially in dads final days were second to none. The team of carers always welcomed us with a smile, and they made an effort to check in on all the family who were there, even though they were there for Dad. Carers only came to my home to care for my husband for a short while as he died quite quickly after leaving hospital but the care he received was very good. Carers were very kind and thoughtful. I had no complaints about the care he received.

The staff who provided care for my cousin were always very professional and caring. There were a number of times when the staff had to deal with difficult situations and these were handled with care and compassion. I found dealing with the office always to be efficient and the staff were helpful to accommodate any requests or changes.
The app worked well, it's a really helpful tool to track the day, routine and timings, it gave me peace of mind that I could keep a check on Dad's fluid and food intake, as well as his medication.

I cannot recommend Brisca Healthcare highly enough. The care they have given to my grandma over the last 2 years has been outstanding. Every carer has treated my grandma with the utmost dignity and respect but more importantly with love and compassion. Grandma had a great sense of humour and we would find the carers singing and dancing with her to make her smile. And they certainly did make her smile every day. Brisca Healthcare looked after Mum for almost two years. The carers were reliable, patient and kind, some exceptionally so. The administrative staff were helpful and professional, listening and responding to concerns and quick to react to changes in Mum's caring needs. She wanted to be cared for in her own home and Brisca helped to make this possible, despite her deteriorating health. I am grateful for their support, particularly in the final weeks of her life. I've had the pleasure of meeting most of Brisca's team of carers over the last year. They are usually cheerful, polite, helpful, and eager to learn individual's ways of doing things. Sometimes they don't understand what you need but a bit of patience and rewording has sorted it out. It has brightened up the day when they come and my dogs have loved seeing them too. The office staff are very helpful and sort any issues out quickly. Even if you ring out of hours they are very polite and happy to help. Thank you all for your service to me, much appreciated.

Prieska has 10 years of teaching experience in primary education (from 1996) and 2 years experience of teaching Adult Education in Business Studies and Economics. She has also run a cleaning business for 2 years (2007 to 2009) which enriched her transferrable skills in different areas. She has also done voluntary work for six months, as an administrative assistant at Imperial NHS Trust (Charing Cross Hospital), learning for work from May 2014 to October 2014. Currently, Prieska is the Managing Director at Brisca Healthcare Ltd. She has been in this position since August 2014. During her spare time, she does Healthcare Business consultations and coaching to new start-up Businesses in the Healthcare sector. Prior to that, Prieska worked as a Health Care Assistant for Bupa Care Homes for 4 years, working both day and night shifts with elderly people. She further worked for Essex County Council at Hargrave House for 5 years, working with children and young adults who are Autistic and have challenging behaviour. She also had experience in domiciliary care as she once worked for Red spot Group and Thurrock Council. Prieska loves to serve the community she lives. She is the founder and Chairperson for She-Unity Support, a Registered Charity Organization, aimed to assist BME African women in the UK experiencing domestic violence and abuse.
Qualifications: Diploma in Education, Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Management and leadership, Cert in Business Admin, Bed EAPPS, PGCE, MBA, MSc HRM.
