My wife has been with Brisca Healthcare for about a year. In that time she has received excellent personal care. All the carers are well-trained in their tasks and perform them in an efficient and professional manner. They are very thoughtful and careful in how they work. They are always clean and present themselves well in their recognisable uniforms. Without exception, they have a pleasant and friendly attitude toward the client. My wife and I always enjoy their visits and it is a pleasure to have them in our house, and they appear to enjoy it as well. The company is also helpful and obliging, in that they will adjust and reschedule visits according to our needs. They will arrive early to ready my wife for a hospital visit or other appointments. The carers are well-trained in the use of mobility equipment and with approval and appropriate training, they will use new techniques and equipment.
Regards Brisca management
Most of the carers I found very friendly and chatty - a few not so. But the care my mother received from them was excellent. They also found the time to chat and make a cuppa for my dad. When they really needed help, there was always somebody on the other end of the phone to give advice and to help. Would definitely recommend Brisca.
Brisca has been great. The carers have been lovely and give the best care. The office staff have been very active in informing me as and when needed and have always answered my questions. We have never had any problems or concerns while using this company.
Brisca is a first-class company of carers. Every one of them genuinely cared for my father. They are trained well from the management down and nothing is overlooked. I don't hesitate to recommend them highly.
We have been using Brisca for quite some time now and they have been most helpful, going out of their way to ensure my wife was well cared for at all times, which has been most helpful for us.
The carers did their best with Nan, who did not accept she required the care they were trying to give. Sometimes communication from the management to the staff was lacking, due to the large number of staff attending to Nan. Also since her passing, I have had no communication to confirm they have received my messages informing them of this.
Following a fall, I was hospitalized with a fractured hip. During my stay in hospital, the Ward Occupational Therapist arranged for a care package to be set up with Brisca on my discharge. I live alone. Within an hour of arriving home, a Brisca Supervisor who was absolutely lovely - arrived to assess my needs and set in place regular visits four times daily, with immediate effect. The carers consulted me on every aspect of their support, even coping with my preference for tea making methods! They were cheerful, friendly and very encouraging in helping me gradually regain my confidence and independence. On the occasions I needed to ring the office, again the staff were always ready to adapt my care package but at the same time making sure my needs were met. One of the office staff was my main contact and he was absolutely great, never making me feel my queries were trivial in any way. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brisca or using their services in the future.
They took a real interest in mum and she built a real trust with all the staff who visited her each day.
Thank you for your care and dedication.
I am always treated with respect and dignity. Thanks to all my carers.
All of the staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. If there is to be a fault at all, it would be nice if the carers could visit at more definite times.
Brisca has always been available should I need to contact them. The staff/carers have always been professional with my help in washing, dressing, changing etc. The carers are (have) always been available for that extra attention and a pleasure to have in our home to look after me.
I am very pleased with the love of care provided for my father-in-law. I can always contact the agency if and when I need to on my father-in-law's behalf or if I have questions or concerns etc. We are always treated with the utmost respect.
A local agency with very helpful staff who were understanding of any problems that arose and worked hard to solve them. They were extremely supportive and tolerant and I was very grateful for their help.
The care given to my mum was excellent and also the management. My mum was in a bad way when she left hospital and the carers not only looked after my mum but they also made her feel special and chatted and cheered her up. She has now made a great recovery which I feel is a good part to do with the care she received
Brisca were put in place to care for Dad during his end of life treatment. Could not fault their care and compassion. From the daily care visits to the managerial contact, all second to none.
