As my husband's dementia developed I know I would need help at home. The Bluebird Birds and office staff fulfilled their "Good Old Fashioned Service" reputation and cared for him in many ways. They were also kind and thoughtful to me throughout a very difficult time. Thank you Bluebirds.
Thank you very much for your lovely words. We always like to make sure that our customers and their families are happy and contented with our service.
From the moment I contacted the Bluebird care manager by phone from Australia, I knew I was in expert and friendly hands and my overall impression of the whole Bluebird team is that they are exceptionally caring, empathetic, efficient and professional in all their dealings.
The support my mother received was very good - caring staff were approachable, reliable and genuinely interested in getting to know my mother as a person and forming a relationship with her.
When my mother died in September there was a delay with payment to your company due to probate. However, the account has now been settled and I appreciate the patience and understanding of your customer service and administration manager.
Thank you for your very kind words; we always understand how difficult it can be when you are about to lose a loved one and will always aim to help families, as well as our customers as much as we can. With warmest regards.
I have always found Bluebird easy to converse with and if any issues have arisen they have always been dealt with in a sensitive and caring way.
Thank you for your very kind words. I know that our carers always enjoy spending time with your son. With kind regards.
I have always found Bluebird Care to be of the highest standard and the staff caring and sympathetic with their duties. The management are easily approachable and understanding.
We all enjoy what we do and it is lovely that it is recognised.
With kind regards.
The ladies are friendly, caring, thoughtful and patient; always willing to accommodate required tasks, in a cheerful manner. Furthermore, they are prepared to go above and beyond if an emergency should occur. All these attributes lead to a good relationship between the ladies and the family with whom they are working.
Thank you for your very kind words. Our carers are always happy to go the extra mile, if they need to, and always look forward to working alongside families.
I am my mother’s carer who has dementia. As Mum’s dementia has deteriorated I was in need of extra help for her to continue living an independent life in her own home. I was recommended Bluebird Care, the carers and management team have always been very supportive, flexible and helpful to my requests. The carers are punctual, polite, carry out their tasks professionally and treat Mum with respect. They are in frequent contact with me which keeps me updated on Mum’s daily needs and this in turn gives me peace of mind knowing she is safe and well cared for. Bluebird Care have definitely extended Mum’s life, living in her own home!
I know that our carers enjoy supporting Mum in any way that they can.
With kind regards.
I cannot speak highly enough about all the staff at Bluebird and they will always have the heartfelt gratitude of myself and the family for the wonderful support they gave to both ourselves and mum. Thank you for caring.
Thank you for your lovely words. I know that the carers really enjoyed spending time with Mum.
I have been receiving Bluebird Care for 10 years. I am 85 years old and have suffered two strokes, resulting in mobility problems. I need assistance with walking and dressing. Bluebird Care is professional in their approach and organisation. The carers are always cheerful and helpful - their training is professional and they perform personal care with a sympathetic and understanding manner. We will continue with their services.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always lovely to hear that our team are hopefully making life easier for you and that you are pleased with our services.
I wouldn't think twice about recommending Bluebird carers to anyone, they looked after Dad and Mum for over five years, always on time with a friendly smile. I didn't need to complain about anything, I trusted them! Towards the end, Mum needed 24-hour care and for me, it took a weight off my shoulders knowing she had someone who cared with her when I couldn't be there.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to look after Mum and make her life a little more comfortable. With kind regards.
All of the carers are very professional and always have Mum's best interests at heart, if they need anything, or have any suggestions, they either call or put any comments in Mum's notes (on the App). The notes are very informative each day, thank you to the carers for taking the time to write them.
A huge thank you to Bluebird for their continued care throughout 'Lockdown' - I really don't know what we would have done without them, remaining professional and carrying on with a job they clearly love doing.
With kind regards.
Each and every carer whom I have had the pleasure to meet is clearly totally dedicated to their job and absolutely not doing a job for a job’s sake.
Certainly, in 40 years of business, the first company that I have encountered where every single employee clearly loves what they do!
With kind regards.
Their procedures were second to none (and found pharmacy errors on several occasions) and their process for having all patient requirements on the carers phone rather than on paper meant they were always up to date. All attendance times were electronically logged and shown on the invoice giving me confidence that allocated times were being accurately met and invoiced. When we did have a mismatch of carer with Mum’s personality, Bluebird were responsive in making appropriate changes.
They were reliable and timekeeping was exemplary. Where delays had occurred (perhaps previous customer needed extra time or road delays in bad weather), I was contacted to ensure Mum was kept up to date.
Couldn’t rate highly enough. Lovely caring team.
A bit more expensive than some, but having swopped from a cheaper company, I can vouch for “you pay for what you get”.
Thank you very much for your kind review; we value your feedback. Our carers enjoyed visiting and caring for Mum.
The care staff visited twice a day to prepare and serve meals. Despite my father not really thinking their visits were necessary to start with, he very quickly became reliant upon them. The ladies built up a relationship with him as they engaged in friendly conversations each day, and so he looked forward to their arrival. His requirements were recorded and planned for but they all monitored his needs on a daily basis and reported all of their observations. The daily records, although time-consuming for the staff, were very useful for my brother and me to read and ensure that we had some idea of Dad's daily routines. We were then able to see if and when any changes needed to be made.
Thank you very much for your kind review. We really appreciate your feedback. Our carers enjoyed visiting and caring for Dad.
Would use again and would definitely recommend.
With kind regards
We (my sister and myself) have nothing but the best regard and admiration for the carers, supervisors and office staff who all worked so well together to ensure that the best service possible was delivered.
Their patience, understanding and professionalism was without question and was regularly tested, under extremely difficult circumstances, at times.
Bluebird Care made every effort, above and beyond, to try to ensure my mother had the best care possible to keep her in her own home, as was her wish, until she was admitted to hospital in November 2019.
We will always remember their kindness.
Thank you Bluebird.
Thank you for your kind review. We were delighted to help make Mum's life a little more comfortable.
