I have used Bluebird Care for a number of years for my son who has Downs Syndrome. I have always found them to be very professional. It is difficult to hand over care particularly personal care to others. It has allowed my son to remain independent and I have been able to relax knowing the quality
of care he receives is the very best the staff can offer. He is not always able to make himself understood but he is always listened to, and treated with the utmost respect.
I have always found Bluebird easy to converse with and if any issues have arisen they have always been dealt with in a sensitive and caring way.

I have always found Bluebird Care to be of the highest standard and the staff caring and sympathetic with their duties. The management are easily approachable and understanding.

I am my mother’s carer who has dementia. As Mum’s dementia has deteriorated I was in need of extra help for her to continue living an independent life in her own home. I was recommended Bluebird Care, the carers and management team have always been very supportive, flexible and helpful to my requests.
The carers are punctual, polite, carry out their tasks professionally and treat Mum with respect. They are in frequent contact with me which keeps me updated on Mum’s daily needs and this in turn gives me peace of mind knowing she is safe and well cared for. Bluebird Care have definitely extended Mum’s life, living in her own home!

In February 2020, my mother had to go into a care home. Previous to this she had experienced two years under the excellent care of Bluebird. Though suffering from dementia, each and every carer took the time to listen to her, treated her with dignity and most importantly made her feel valued as a person.
Consequently, mum looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with the carers. Their professionalism was exemplary. Each visit was recorded in detail and available for me to read on their app. Regular reviews were held with mum and myself to ensure that she was receiving the most appropriate care. When I needed flexibility in the programme for personal reasons, the management team were always approachable and willing to help.
I cannot speak highly enough about all the staff at Bluebird and they will always have the heartfelt gratitude of myself and the family for the wonderful support they gave to both ourselves and mum. Thank you for caring.

I have been receiving Bluebird Care for 10 years. I am 85 years old and have suffered two strokes, resulting in mobility problems. I need assistance with walking and dressing. Bluebird Care is professional in their approach and organisation. The carers are always cheerful and helpful - their training
is professional and they perform personal care with a sympathetic and understanding manner. We will continue with their services.

I wouldn't think twice about recommending Bluebird carers to anyone, they looked after Dad and Mum for over five years, always on time with a friendly smile. I didn't need to complain about anything, I trusted them! Towards the end, Mum needed 24-hour care and for me, it took a weight off my shoulders
knowing she had someone who cared with her when I couldn't be there.

Bluebird has been caring for my Mum in her own home since April 2019, after she was diagnosed with Dementia. Initially, we started with one visit a day, four days a week, but as Mum's dementia has progressed this has had to be reviewed, several times. Mum now has three visits a day, seven days a week
- Bluebird has been very flexible with these changes and nothing has been too much trouble.
All of the carers are very professional and always have Mum's best interests at heart, if they need anything, or have any suggestions, they either call or put any comments in Mum's notes (on the App). The notes are very informative each day, thank you to the carers for taking the time to write them.
A huge thank you to Bluebird for their continued care throughout 'Lockdown' - I really don't know what we would have done without them, remaining professional and carrying on with a job they clearly love doing.

Without exception, the service provided by Bluebird Care has been exemplary.
Each and every carer whom I have had the pleasure to meet is clearly totally dedicated to their job and absolutely not doing a job for a job’s sake.
Certainly, in 40 years of business, the first company that I have encountered
where every single employee clearly loves what they do!

Bluebird were absolutely marvellous with my elderly mother who suffered from physical difficulties as well as early-onset dementia.
Their procedures were second to none (and found pharmacy errors on several occasions) and their process for having all patient requirements on the carers phone rather
than on paper meant they were always up to date. All attendance times were electronically logged and shown on the invoice giving me confidence that allocated times were being accurately met and invoiced. When we did have a mismatch of carer with Mum’s personality, Bluebird were responsive in making appropriate changes.
They were reliable and timekeeping was exemplary. Where delays had occurred (perhaps previous customer needed extra time or road delays in bad weather), I was contacted to ensure Mum was kept up to date.
Couldn’t rate highly enough. Lovely caring team.
A bit more expensive than some, but having swopped from a cheaper company, I can vouch for “you pay for what you get”.

The care staff visited twice a day to prepare and serve meals. Despite my father not really thinking their visits were necessary to start with, he very quickly became reliant upon them. The ladies built up a relationship with him as they engaged in friendly conversations each day, and so he looked forward
to their arrival. His requirements were recorded and planned for but they all monitored his needs on a daily basis and reported all of their observations. The daily records, although time-consuming for the staff, were very useful for my brother and me to read and ensure that we had some idea of Dad's daily routines. We were then able to see if and when any changes needed to be made.

Used Bluebird for my Dad's care for around 6-months before he went into a care home. Ladies always turned up on time (or on the occasion they were late, would call).
Would use again and would definitely recommend.

Our experience of Bluebird Care was extremely positive throughout the years of looking after our mother.
We (my sister and myself) have nothing but the best regard and admiration for the carers, supervisors and office staff who all worked so well together to ensure that the best service possible was
delivered.
Their patience, understanding and professionalism was without question and was regularly tested, under extremely difficult circumstances, at times.
Bluebird Care made every effort, above and beyond, to try to ensure my mother had the best care possible to keep her in her own home, as was her wish, until she was admitted to hospital in November 2019.
We will always remember their kindness.

Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon is owned by David Benjamin. David has been at the helm since 2014, having gained a wealth of professional management experience throughout his career, including as the CEO of Antler and MD of Royal Worcester & Spode.


As a family man, David has seen first-hand how good quality support in the home can bring real benefits to people's lives. He recognised the need for a high-quality service in the Worcester and Wychavon area to enable people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.


Working alongside families and individuals to tailor services to help customers stay in control of their own care, David has grown the business and developed a team of first-class, award-winning professional care assistants and managers, many of whom have been with the company since it started.

She also assists with support supervisory roles as well as carrying out her role as Care Assistant and delighting her customers. Outside of work, Sonya is a keen animal lover and an avid fundraiser for charity. She has also recently won the Worcestershire Health and Social Care Domiciliary Carer of the Year award.

Toni Scott-Adams

Toni joined Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon in November 2023 after being in the industry since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Toni has experience in care homes, the community, end of life care and care management.


Toni is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and is passionate about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those in her care.
