The carers within this service are amazing. They always treat my brother-in-law with respect and dignity. He has dementia and they always ensure they explain what they are doing for him and are very patient if he gets agitated or distressed. The carers speak highly of their manager in terms of support and training and she also has been excellent in ensuring he receives the right care at the right time. The manager keeps family members updated and informed about care. It is obvious this is a well-run and caring organisation. Thank you all, you are amazing.

I have no hesitation in recommending Proactive Medicare. They worked for Mum, caring for her alongside her family for the last weeks of her life. They worked with compassion, humour and professionalism, enabling her to stay at home where she wanted to be until her last day. As a very private lady, who had her wits about her, we were concerned about how she would feel about accepting personal care. Each and every carer, and all office staff, put her at ease, had a 'can do' attitude, and ultimately made her feel loved and cared for. I could not be more grateful. Thank you.

Proactive Medicare provided excellent end of life care for my dad in 2019. After his death, we asked them to continue calling on Mum as her Alzheimer's was progressing. They were so kind to Mum, calling in on her like friends and never making her feel like her failing memory and abilities were the reason they were there. They kept the memory of Dad alive for her as they all knew him. I would receive immediate contact if they were worried about her. As Mum's illness progressed, they supported and encouraged our decision that it was in Mum's best interest to move to a care home near me.

Every carer and person connected to this company treated my husband with the utmost respect. I could not have received better care for him.

Proactive were also very supportive to the family throughout a very difficult time.

Cannot praise ProActive Medicare enough. So caring, compassionate and gentle when dealing with my husband and myself. Excellent first-class work and I couldn’t have travelled this long dark road without them. My husband really felt comfortable with them all. I used to hear him laughing and joking with them when they came in. It was no intrusion to have the girls in and we would look forward to it as we were both housebound so to speak. There are truly no words to thank them all, they really are angels in disguise. Not only dealing with my husband but me too. I feel quite humbled to have had them all (one in particular) looking after my precious husband. Very honest from the start. Their patience and kindness go far beyond anything I have witnessed before. Hand on heart they are truly remarkable and will sing their praises to anyone who will listen. Proactive Medicare showed such professionalism, genuine care and love towards my mum. You treated her like a fragile piece of glass. My mum came home to end of life and your company restored her dignity and gave her peace in the last two days of her life, something that was denied to her in the nursing home previously. My regret is that I did not know of your company beforehand, because you really are such a wonderful caring company and experts in your field. Thank you for all of your support and care towards my mum. To anyone who is reading this, if you are offered this company to care for a loved one then grab that opportunity, because your relative would be safe in their care. Carers are all very friendly, compassionate and caring. They know their jobs inside out. Vert professional. The best carers I've ever come across.

I wish to thank all the staff at Proactive Medicare for the very special care and detailed attention they gave to my brother during the last months of his life. His case was a complicated one and his behaviour could be challenging at times, but the carers were truly supportive and sympathetic and did everything possible to offer him comfort until the very end. It was thanks to their commitment that my brother was able to remain in his home, as was his final wish, until the end of his life.
