Very friendly, nearly always on time, will take time asking if anything is needed or any jobs they could do! Smartly dressed, clean and tidy. Always have time to spend 5 or 10 mins to have a talk, to ask how they feel etc.

Occasionally the timing of visits vary for up to an hour either way, and occasionally lights are left switched on, but these are very rare occasions.

A caring, professional service. Nothing is too much trouble from the carers who visit my mum, twice weekly. Nothing is too much trouble. They are easy to communicate with & any concerns are actioned straight away.

Many of the carers do the job well but 25% of them need more training on what is expected of them. Making sure doors are locked, charging the radio, and checking fridge and freezer doors are shut properly. Not putting kitchen roll in washer and listening to the client when I talk and not ignoring me.

Brilliant in every way.
Amazing care providers who give a high-quality excellent service as standard. My mum developed a destructive psychosis that became increasingly difficult to deal with, and whilst we accepted the psychiatrist's advice to keep her in her own home, actually finding help to achieve this objective became a lonely and disheartening task. Eventually, after some traumatic experiences with various providers, I received professional guidance that introduced me to Givecare in Burton, who calmly took on a difficult task with the highest degree of sensitive professionalism and restored a sense of compassionate stability to the situation. The special strength of Givecare is the values that a family business brings, as opposed to those of corporate providers, whose main preoccupation is often about charges rather than the welfare of the person involved. I can only commend wholeheartedly, the inherent helpfulness and consistent reliability of their approach in making a dreadful situation more bearable.

Meet the Team (4)
I started with Bosworth Homecare back in 2000 and have done lots of different roles within the company, including Care Assistant, Senior, Line Manager, Quality Assurance, and now I am the Branch Manager for the Swadlincote branch, and I love it!
I started in 2007 as a Line Manager for Bosworth Homecare, then in 2017 I became the Office Manager for Swadlincote, and I thoroughly enjoy it all! I have done my NVQ Level 3 and 4, and in my spare time I love being in the Countryside and going for walks!
I started as a carer for Bosworth Homecare, worked my way up to senior carer and then to care coordinator. I love my job! It's so rewarding to know you're making a difference in people's lives.
I manage the rota and the staff, as well as cover sickness, holidays and deal with emergencies.
I am the Field Care Supervisor for the Swadlincote Branch. I started working for Bosworth as a carer, and have also been a senior in my time here. I am a medication lead as well, and I just love helping people on a day-to-day basis!
