Bramley Home Care - Shaftesbury

Normally my daughter looks after me but as she is on holiday at the moment she did not want to leave me on my own.

We stayed at a fully accessible holiday let. We used Bramley Care for my personal care for the week. They were excellent. We had some carers as last time. Will definitely go back to the holiday let and use Bramley Care again.

Always thoughtful, helpful and caring. Sympathetic to requests by phone or email. Bramley do their best to fulfil any requests and are always respectful and polite. Very pleased with all aspects.

Bramley Care provides an excellent service, they are competent, compassionate and very reliable. Always arriving with a cheery smile and a capable pair of hands. I would highly recommend them to anyone. In the beginning, they gave me peace of mind when my parents were still living on their own, but needed a little extra help and as their health declined they supported us with the additional help required. I couldn't have managed without them.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. They get me up in the mornings, wash and dress me, help me into my chair, check in on me during the day to see if I am ok and at bedtime, help me into my pyjamas and put me to bed.

Overall, very satisfied with an efficient and reliable service providing friendly trained carers for my husband who needs regular attendance. Have recommended the care service to a neighbour, now also a client.

I have found that the care offered for my mother is very professional and knowing how challenging my mother can be, I think the carers do a good job of engaging with her. I am pleased with the general level of service offered by Bramley, especially their response if I need to arrange emergency care.

Over the past 18 months, we have had several different carers come to see us to help us mainly with cleaning as I have various things wrong with me. They have all been very reliable and caring, but also very dedicated. Some have visited us regularly and have become more like friends or family. It is a pleasure to see them. Good support and service in the short time we have been associated with Bramley. This review might move into 5 stars in perhaps six months with more experience to reflect upon! Very good feedback from the head office in terms of any issues spotted during care for Mum. The billing process is simple.

I have very bad days, they understand and support me, always kind and understanding. I have a time sheet every week so I know what time they will visit me. If they will be late they phone my cousin who lives next door. I have been ill since I was 29 and I am now 71. I could never manage without them. I would give them five stars.

I am extremely grateful for the help from the jolly, smiling carers, in weekday evenings and early afternoons at the weekends. As frontline staff have onerous tasks, coping with all manner of situations, I hope they get rewarded accordingly. Timing is a bit erratic from day to day. I hope this will settle down and that there won't be such long distances from place to place.

My care from Bramley Home Care has been very good. The girls are always helpful and polite and do what I need. The office staff are always very helpful.

All concerned were caring and efficient providing a high level of service.

There have been issues with numerous things involving an occasion that a carer failed to identify the basic need of my grandma. My mum has always been on hand to communicate issues with some of the care staff to the managers. Most of the carers are very capable and kind, however, some carers are in serious need of extra training. Don't expect any sympathy or customer service from Bramley managers or the accounts department once their services are no longer needed.

All carers from Bramley Home Care are very efficient and diligent. They care for our Mum every morning and are always cheerful and personable.
