Across May, I have been really happy with the care The AICS Group has provided me. All the staff has really supported me with life experiences. I love cooking and going to the gym and without the support workers and management team I would not be able to achieve my goals. Everyone I have met through the company has been caring, helpful and lovely. I have been working with them for nearly 2 years and I really enjoy the service provided. All round, excellent.

Meet the Team (3)
Sharon has worked in early years for 40 years, with 28 years as an Operational Manager in early years in the voluntary sector, private sector, and social care.
Previously, she was elected as chair to a board of trustees, for a charity, and for a Local Authority Community Centre. She is also a qualified Counsellor.
Sharon has been appointed as the Managing Director for The AICS Group and is passionate about not only learning from others but providing professional services that support people with brain injury that promotes independence and community access.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs. She loves the outdoors and visiting places of interest.
In the last 3 years, Ria has been appointed as the Service Manager, and recently the Registered Service Manager at The AICS Group which specialises in traumatic brain injury, and complex needs.
As the Registered Manager Ria is a healthcare professional that manages staff providing services to service users. Her primary responsibility is to oversee the operation of the agency and the care and safeguarding of service users.
She enjoys meeting new people, hearing new perspectives, and adapting to new learnings. Her favourite quote is “Mental strength is not just hoping that nothing ever goes wrong. It is believing that we have the capacity to handle it if it does.”? Brianna Wiest, The Mountain Is You
Ria takes pleasure in reading psychology books and understanding human behaviour. She also enjoys hiking and being near oceans.
In 2018, Chris began his career at The AICS Group to bring organisation and control to the finances of the then-embryonic company.
Though pressurised, he has found it a more fulfilling role where he can take pride in his team, peers, and work.
His previous career involved working in the not-for-profit sector, but Chris has found that working specifically for, The AICS Group, a private limited company, gives him greater focus with clear uncomplicated objectives. His empathy for the acquired brain injury extends to learning to lead with his left hand to stimulate the right side of his brain (his more creative side).
Fun Fact: He does Pilates every morning with the hope of improving his golf swing. Alas, Chris is a perpetual optimist in this regard.
