Flo's Friends

As a family we are absolutely devastated at the level of care our loved on received from Flo's Friends. My grandad suffered a fall from the top to the bottom of the stairs. Flo's Friends attended as usual that morning. My grandad told them he had fallen and they saw the smashed glass at the bottom of the stairs. They claim they asked him if he needed a doctor, but he has dementia so of course he said no. They texted his daughter and WALKED OUT AND LEFT HIM. They claim this is because he was aggressive, but this is simply not a good enough excuse. They should have called an ambulance. He was taken straight to resus and diagnosed with sepsis. To think they left him there alone when he was so poorly and could have had a head injury is just unbearable. He is a human being and was treated like a nobody. We trusted you and you let us down. Shame on you.

Dementia is hard enough, not only for the individual but also for close friends & family. FF came highly recommended from the dementia care team at Pilgrim Hospital. We can honestly say, Flo's Friends (Amy, Lucy & team), were simply amazing! They knew what to do from the getgo and always ensured my mum felt center re care plan and any decisions. It's more than a shame what the vast majority of care providers in the UK deem as acceptable, in reality lower than minimum standards, but Flo's Friends are not your average care providers. Thank you for all you do, especially Hope & Amanda.
