From the very beginning, the team demonstrated kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Every carer who visited treated my mum with dignity, patience and understanding, qualities that made an enormous difference to her daily wellbeing. They took time to learn her preferences and ensure that she always felt safe and respected. Their communication without family has been outstanding. We were always kept informed, and any concerns were handled promptly and thoughtfully. The reliability of the service has been exceptional. Carers arrived on time, went above and beyond their duties, and consistently showed warmth and empathy. As a family, they gave us peace of mind and supported us too.
Tracy,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it.
We are delighted to hear that from the team have demonstrated kindness, professionalism and genuine compassion from the very beginning, with every carer who has visited has treating your Mum with dignity,...
I would wholeheartedly recommend Helping Hands live in care, to anyone who is in a similar position to us. My mum is so well looked after. Her safety, health and emotional wellbeing are always paramount with the care she is given. We are kept in touch at all times with anything we need to know about. When our carer is on holiday the relief that is arranged for her, has also been without exception excellent.
Although we live several hours away we have complete peace of mind that she is in good hands and having the best quality of life, while still enjoying living at home.
The care I receive is excellent. The carers are superb, but management does not always look after them as they should. One carer complained she had (again) been given a 4 hour cleaning job. Helping Hands should be a caring company, not a cleaning company. You need to employ more administrative staff at weekends. Telephone Helping Hands at the weekend, and it can take 30 minutes + to get through.
I would certainly recommend Helping Hands.
I have found the carers provided very good and of a high standard. The office staff are very helpful; I am using the agency carers for companionship, and I would recommend the agency. I have used the agency for three years
Helping Hands has been visiting my father for some time now,, started with lunch time visits now twice a day morning and evening. Delightful, friendly and efficient carers. The communication from the office is brilliant. So helpful if needing to change visits. Dad enjoys the visits and it has helped with his speech following a stroke seeing someone every day to talk to. They always leave the kitchen clean and tidy and report any misgivings they may have. I would highly recommend!
Our experience of Helping Hands is of a professional and personal service that is above all, caring. They made a point of getting to know Mum from Day 1, to match their carers to her needs, as a valued individual. They know all her favourite things, from a good chat, to a foot massage and a game of scrabble. Domestic tasks from cooking up a good meal, to washing, housework, administering medication and getting Mum safely tucked up in bed of an evening, are all part of their friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble. We simply have to ask and the care package is adapted to Mum's ever changing needs. As a result, Mum, who is 91 and has dementia, is able to stay safe in the comfort of her own home. And for that freedom we are all so very grateful. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Helping Hands have been providing two home visits per day for my 92 year old mother for over 18 months now. I am very happy with the provision and have total faith in the company and the carers themselves. They frequently contact me with concerns and advice and there are individuals at the office that I know and can easily reach out to.
Three carers I have had have been extremely friendly, and I have no complaints at all about their work. I would recommend your company to anyone.
For more than four years, I've had the same carer from Helping Hands, which has allowed us to build a strong and trusting relationship. He assists me with showers and shaves twice a week, and during those times, we engage in conversations about a wide range of topics, from everyday life to more profound subjects. Our bond has grown over the years, transforming our connection into a friendship where he feels more like a mate than just a carer. It's comforting to have someone I can talk to about anything and everything. Additionally, the staff in the office are incredibly friendly and supportive.
Helping hands, Banstead have provided excellent care for my husband who is wheelchair bound and can't speak. The carers are very kind and practical and the office staff are brilliant. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
Carers are good. Rejection has only come from my partner. The relationships have all started well then something clicks in her head and she goes into rejection mode. The assistance needed is to keep my partner occupied during the period of the visit
I have had a good experience all round with helping hands. Everyone has been so reliable which is important to me.
In her last couple of weeks they were very flexible with arrangements.
Everyone working at Helping Hands is professional, compassionate, caring and kind. They are always there to help and support us, even for unexpected and unplanned call-outs when mother is in need and often in distress. I cannot rate them highly enough. It is so reassuring to know they can be relied on to assist. The carers have a personal yet professional attitude to their job and are friendly and positive in their approach to the tasks in hand. This is greatly appreciated. Their services are highly recommended.
My Uncle lives alone and having Helping Hands visit him daily is a big relief. His carers are very calm in all situations and knowing they are visiting and their response to various situations make me sleep better at night. Super responsive, helpful and unflappable.
The carers who attend my mother are very professional and friendly and provide the required care. My mum is very pleased. Also, the office is very efficient and friendly and any requests are met efficiently.
Services requested carried out satisfactorily with pleasantries. Changes of times (due to appointments, doctors) accommodated.
All very cheerful, willing to help in any way.
Thank you for all the help over the last ten months so pleased to have found you. I would recommend Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) any time.
Generally, the support and care my wife receives is of an excellent standard. Most carers have build up a good relationship and although she doesn't remember the names of the carers, there is immediate recognition when the carer arrives. All the carers do show a professional approach to support and care for my wife and, if necessary, calm the situation. Overall, I have no issues.
