Generally, the support and care my wife receives is of an excellent standard. Most carers have build up a good relationship and although she doesn't remember the names of the carers, there is immediate recognition when the carer arrives. All the carers do show a professional approach to support and
care for my wife and, if necessary, calm the situation. Overall, I have no issues.

The daily carers are lovely and look after my mother excellently. They do all that is required and will sit and have a chat with her if time allows. There are some issues when visit times are changed, and we are not informed. If we are arranging things around the rota, this is very inconvenient. This
is not the fault of the carers, but the admin/managers. I also find them expensive compared to other providers.

I have been very impressed by the service provided by Helping Hands. I have valued the professional approach, kindness and competence of all the carers who have visited me. A strength of the service has been to have a named, main carer. It was therefore possible for her to quickly become familiar with
my needs, likes and dislikes. She was always cheerful and I looked forward to her visits. I was, however, disappointed that she was allocated to another client on my last day and I was not informed of this change in advance by management. I'm now regaining my independence and am grateful for the care I've received.

I find Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) to be very caring, always available on the phone and the carers themselves very helpful and willing to help with anything.
Sometimes I get a different carer to the one expected, but sometimes people are sick and can't make it.

Once the care was put in place it is running well and efficiently. Carers are very nice and friendly, my dad speaks well of them all. They are tidy, clean, caring and meet all our requirements so far. The office staff listen to our needs and they are addressed. There is also good communication between
ourselves and carers on a weekly basis if we have concerns.

As a sufferer of multiple sclerosis for nearly twenty eights years, in order to keep my independence I have been forced to use care agencies over the last few years for help with everyday living. In my experience Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) are the best agency that I have employed. The staff are
polite, friendly and with living on my own I look forward to my carers visiting.

My father suffers from dementia and lost my mum three years ago. Thanks to the continued support and assistance from Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) he is able to live and cope alone in his flat. All the staff who have cared for my father have been very professional and friendly, Dad looks forward to
their visit, not just for his lunch but a bit of company and chat.
Whenever I’ve asked for extra help it has always been sorted promptly. I am particularly grateful to Dad's previous carer and Dad's regular carer now, who does a fantastic job.
I thoroughly recommend Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom).

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.860 for Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) is calculated as follows: ( (87 Excellents x 5) + (12 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 100 Ratings = 4.86
