good to know someone is available to help with her need.
Good morning,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. It is lovely to hear that your mother enjoys the visits and that the support provided is meeting her needs. We are pleased that having someone available to help brings you reassurance and peace of...
The fact that I have been with Helping Hands since 2019 says a great deal. The present leadership team are extremely hard working, approachable and focussed on my needs. These have changed over the years but Helping Hands have always made sure that my needs, which are complex, have been met. I have had some excellent carers who have frequently gone the extra mile to help. There has obviously been some hiccups over the years but these have always been resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.
Thank you so much for the truly honest and wonderful feedback. It has been our pleasure to support you through the stages of your health changes. When i joined helping hands you expressed just how important its is to see you and not the condition, this feedback gives me confidence carers are demonstrating our values. It will be my pleasure to share the feedback with all involved.
Thank you Helping Hands
It is and has been completely our pleasure, it was lovely to see mum looking so well at our Christmas party. Whilst i know you have had the sad loss of dad, it brings real comfort to know we was there for you and able to transfer the care over to mum without much hassle. We thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review, we will share this lovely feedback with mums care team.
On top of the excellent assistance given 3 times a week, I received even more care when I had sciatica. The carers spent more time doing tasks that I could normally manage. They looked after me and my husband by doing shopping, fetching medication and taking me to appointments. It was our 66th wedding anniversary, so they helped prepare for a special family meal by shopping, preparing food and setting the table. All of this is to help us stay independent.
The experience of using care services was with the intention of rehabilitation after surgery. This arrangement has worked very well. Thanks to the flexibility of Caring Hands, I feel that I have achieved my objective in relation to normal lifestyle activities.
It is so good to hear we have helped you get back to your baseline, and thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. Helping people to live well at home or in the community they love is what we aim to do. I happy to hear that we have helped meet your objective.
My experience of Helping Hands has been very positive and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The service is friendly but professional. I feel I am listened to and the needs of my husband fully understood and responded to. I have complete confidence in everyone at Helping Hands that I have come into contact with.
I am so pleased to hear this feedback, i still remember the day your husband looked through the window. We knew to that day that we truly are needed in the community. We are all to happy to help it what ever way we can, thank you for choosing Helping Hands.
Helping Hands provided carers after I broke my hip 6 months ago. They enabled me to return to my own home and helped me to gradually return to normal. I needed daily help to begin with: the carers offered gentle support and encouragement so that I regained my confidence to eventually manage on my own. I would recommend their services to anyone needing help whilst recovering from an accident or operation.
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete this lovely review, i must say reablement is something we are really good at. Carers are encouraged to enable and promote independence. Like you described there comes a time our customers wave us good bye after getting them back to the base line they used to have. Hope your still well, it was a pleasure being part of your recovery.
I am really pleased and happy with the service my mum receives from Helping Hands Home Care. All the carers are very friendly, caring and treat mum with respect. They make sure she is eating, make her drink, see to her personal needs and importantly always have time for a chat. If there are any issues, I am informed straight away. Having Helping Hands gives me and my family complete peace of mind. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the review. It's great to see that Mum is eating and drinking better, the carers love the chats with Mum throughout the care visit's. It will be my pleasure to pass on the compliments to the team.
Very helpful. Informative. Practical support provided. The reviewer was very kind indeed. The reviewer provided all the following via email as promised.
Thank you for the review, I'm glad to hear the service is going well. I will be sure to pass on the compliments to the reviewer, if you need anything at all please do contact us at the branch. Most grateful of you choosing Helping Hands Lutterworth as your preferred care provider.
Carers are very helpful and thorough, they use their own initiative, kind and conversation is interesting. They listen to advice/instructions and make me feel confident.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review. The carers really do enjoy the time spent supporting you and your husband. It will be my pleasure to pass on your kind words to the carers.
Worked very efficiently and true of all during the first 3 weeks
I hope that I made them happy in their work they deserve to be rewarded.
My almost full recovery is in major part due to the team and now with sight approved for driving despite glaucoma and a blue badge and diabetes under control.
I can contemplate a new start in life.
We moved here in the middle of Covid and were unable to make friends.
and now having lost my wife I have regained independence.
From mother, to matron at school, to batman in the army, to bedder at university, to wife, all 87 years have been supported, well done Helping Hands in continuing this for me.
What a lovely review, thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I will ensure your care team are made aware of the good work they are doing. It means a lot to hear our service is running in the way we vision it to be. Thank you once again.
Very friendly, helpful staff who provide my mother (3 days a week) with all the assistance that she needs to help maintain her independent living. They are dependable and can always be relied on. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Thank you very much for the kind review, it has been nothing short of a pleasure to care for your mother.
Excellent service from the outset. We are new to Helping Hands who are providing twice-daily care visits to assist us with my father's daily care. Carers are always on time, always cheerful, always professional and provide a consistently high level of care.
Thank you, I am so pleased to see how happy you are with the level of service. It's no secret we have the happiest carers around and they fully enjoy caring for your father.
My carer was so very lovely and was prepared to do anything I felt I needed. She filled the short time she was here and also used her initiative to point out some things I hadn't thought about that she could do. She was extremely pleasant to talk to, mindful of my home and I would be very happy if she was to be my caregiver in the future.
Thank you for such a lovely review it makes a great difference to carers hearing such kind compliments. We look forward to supporting you when you return to service.
We will always be grateful to the carers from Helping Hands who provided Mother with assistance in personal care, enabling me to continue going to work with peace of mind. When the mother became very unwell and immediate help was needed, none was available from either of the local authority care providers. It was Helping Hands who stepped in at short notice to care for Mother when I, aged 73, no longer could. Always kind, friendly and efficient. They really do 'go the extra mile' for us.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review, we feel very blessed to have been involved in the care of Mum (such a kind and gentle lady). Thank you for choosing Helping Hands Lutterworth.
The team from Helping Hands have been fantastic! They visit my 85 year old mum three times a day every day. Mum has dementia so it is wonderful that she can maintain her independence with a little support to keep her safe. The staff are amazing!
Hello Dan, we are so happy to read this your happiness with the service means so much more with you living a good distance away. Mum's care team are very dedicated we are very proud to see such a glowing review. Thank you.
This has also gone well. There is a well-formed process for introducing new carers and they are all well-trained and sympathetic to my needs.
There have been a few admin problems but they have been quickly resolved. I am a very happy customer.
Most grateful for this feedback, it's a pleasure to read. I am glad we could resolve the admin issues and look forward to continuing our support to you.
The ladies who visit and in the office are excellent. My husband's mother is in her 100th year and fiercely independent. Everyone from Helping Hands shows kindness, respect and affection but always remains very professional. We are all very grateful for all they do especially alerting us to medical issues that we may otherwise not be privy to. The longevity of our association indicates how happy we are with Helping Hands. Thank you all.
Thank you so much it will be my pleasure to feed such a lovely review back to the team. Your mother-in-law continues to amaze us all we look forward to continuing our support.
We have been very impressed with the level of care and empathy shown by all the team we have had contact with so far. From the manager who went the extra mile to match Dad with a lovely companion, the lady in the office and of course our carer.
We would not hesitate to recommend Helping Hands Lutterworth.
I'm so happy to read the service is going so well. It is so nice to see your dad living well at home. I will be sure to pass on the compliments to the team. Thank you very much for the kind words.
We had 5 carers in total. All were very hard working and each had excellent personalities. We do not need a service now and miss the friendliness of their calls. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Highly recommended.
Thank you very much for a glowing review and it is so nice to be able to support you again following your return to service.

Meet the Team (1)
I joined Helping Hands Lutterworth on 21/3/22, it was originally known as Helping Hands Market Harborough.
My role as a Registered care manager is to ensure and oversee we are running a safe and well-led service. The electronic systems in place make it easy for me to monitor the care we deliver.
I have a great team in place that will ensure customers have suitable and vetted carers. My team help ensure we are compliant and that customers are happy with the service they receive.
Our foundation is built on kindness, we are honest and transparent. All customers have access and the right to exercise a complaint or compliment through our policies and procedures.
We reward our carers when we identify a true act of kindness. Our Moments of Kindness board can be seen in the office.
Our care plans consist of person-centred care, identifying risks and risk management.
We liaise with health professionals where needed and agreed upon by the customer.
Carers follow a training programme no matter their experience in care. Training may consist of mandatory, delegated and /or clinical care. We work with our own in-house registered nurses and compliance team. As well as our live-in care services should a customer develop the need to move onto the next level of homecare. We intend to be with you on your journey of care and fully believe there is always a way to live safely at home with the right support.
I have worked in care for over 20 years my background was firstly residential care working mostly for Social Services as a carer for the first years progressing through the management structure in the later years.
As the Social Services homes transitioned from the public to the private sector I was employed to help some homes in difficult transition.
I have NVQ levels 2 and 3, NVQs in health and social care, end-of-life care and medication, Certificates in dementia support and challenging behaviours.
I moved into Domically Care around 2016 and progressed to manage the service which delivered 1,500 hours per week around the whole of Leicestershire.
My belief and passion for quality care comes from a personal journey as a child watching and helping my mother struggle to look after my Grandad. Along with many more personal experiences, I know what it is like to feel lost looking for the right care provider. I am pleased to say I believe in the Helping Hands Foundation which is why I am in the post today.
