I have found all the carers helpful and cheerful. They have treated me with dignity and respect at all times. I cannot praise them enough. They have put me at ease when I have experienced difficulties and been most helpful.

The First Choice Home Care team did an excellent job of caring for my ninety-five year old father. He was treated with kindness, compassion and respect by all the carers who helped him. They provided an outstanding, professional service and I would recommend them to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

Mum is 95 and a stroke survivor. Now she's in need of more care than I can provide on my own. First Choice have been coming twice a day for a month. Every single member of the team has proved to be lovely to mum. She really enjoys their visits! They are attentive, gentle and thorough. They do exactly as per the care plan. They also notice and mention any possible worrying issues so I can alert the community nurse. They are a great team and I would recommend First Choice without hesitation.

I have had my carers since the start of this year and each of them are always polite and cheerful, and informal a plus for me! I need personal care which they do very professionally without embarrassment, helping me to remember medication an important factor, prepare meals etc. They have become an important part of my day.

My mother has been receiving care in the form of twice-daily visits for the past couple of years and in the main, we have been more than satisfied with both the quality of care provided and the calibre of staff with whom we have had contact. As with all interactions, there are some individuals who exhibit a more caring and empathetic nature than others but it would be true to state that mother has developed friendships with a number of her carers which has been of great benefit to her mental wellbeing since the passing of her husband (my father). There are occasionally issues with regard to the timing of the carers visits, meaning that mother is being put to bed somewhat earlier than she would choose to result in her being in bed for at least 12 hrs a night; this is difficult especially as we move into British Summer Time as it remains light outside. Notification of changes in visit timings would be appreciated.

All the staff at First Choice Home Care (Snetterton) are wonderful. The office staff have communicated with us throughout the time we have had care, when I first started with them my package was set to start a week after my return home. However, First Choice Home Care (Snetterton) ensured that I did not go without care for a single day and brought their start date early to match my discharge from a care home. They have looked after me for around three years but they also consider my family and go above and beyond their duties. When I spent time in hospital they made regular contact with my son ensuring everything was okay. They have observed my needs for all aspects of my care and discussed with us extra support when we needed it.

Mum is ninety-six now and very frail. She has deteriorated in the last six months but the care and consideration shown to her by her carers have been excellent. A couple of the carers are particularly good with her and go the full mile in making sure all is well. There have been a couple of occasions when I have needed the carers to attend between scheduled visits for “an emergency“ which turned out to be minor but they have always been happy to help. She is treated with dignity and respect.

First Choice Home Care provides care for my mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's. I am extremely pleased with the level of care that First Choice provides. All staff/carers are friendly, professional and go above and beyond to ensure my mother's care needs are met. All carers are positive, polite, respectful and patient when engaging with my mother and their understanding of her condition is very good. First Choice has been extremely supportive, adaptable and flexible and always work to suit my mother's needs and with her best interests at heart. First Choice always works to ensure the care and service they provide is beneficial to my mother, and their approach to her care is very positive. Overall, all members of staff and carers at First Choice are friendly, professional, approachable, supportive and are always looking to provide the very best level of service possible. I am very pleased and grateful for the work that First Choice do and the level of care and support they provide.
