Totally useless. Don't use this company. Extremely bad management. Carers rarely on time. Sometimes 14 hour wait between pm and am. Some carers do care and some don't. They don't read the care plan in place at home which should make it easy. Often forgetting the simplest of chores. Not given privacy when using commode. If only they all (including management) thought it could be their mum. This would never happen.

DO NOT USE THEM.

Very satisfactory initial service, but now requires two carers as my husband's health issues have worsened and now bedridden. Currently, First Choice cannot offer two carers. Therefore, we are searching for alternatives to assist. Seeking palliative nursing to replace care my husband needs ie; end of life fast track remit.

I have found all the carers helpful and cheerful. They have treated me with dignity and respect at all times. I cannot praise them enough. They have put me at ease when I have experienced difficulties and been most helpful.

Overall Experience

Very upset at the lateness of morning calls, as I have a night catheter. I rang before I got my breakfast, coming back at 12:30 - 1 PM for lunch. I am not hungry for a proper meal. Just having a sandwich is not good for my health. Have asked for tasks to include a reminder to take my meds and also morning & evening cream to be put on my feet. But hasn't been done.

Overall Experience
First Choice Home Care (Norwich)supports me very well. I am very settled now which I wasn't with other companies. I have quite a few members of staff who I get on really well with and can trust enough to talk to about things that are bothering me.

They have helped me to understand my health conditions and be more content. I am happy with the support I get, it doesn't feel uncomfortable in my home.

The First Choice Home Care team did an excellent job of caring for my ninety-five year old father. He was treated with kindness, compassion and respect by all the carers who helped him. Overall Experience

Mum is 95 and a stroke survivor. Now she's in need of more care than I can provide on my own. First Choice have been coming twice a day for a month. Every single member of the team has proved to be lovely to mum. She really enjoys their visits! They are attentive, gentle and thorough. They do exactly as per the care plan. They also notice and mention any possible worrying issues so I can alert the community nurse. They are a great team and I would recommend First Choice without hesitation.
