The live-in care provided by GoodOaks has been excellent. Tünde and Cathy look after Dad so well-they are kind, attentive, and respectful. Dad loves their cooking and enjoys their company. He is very happy.

Absolutely no complaints, would definately recommended this company.
Excellent reliable service, including fitting in extra care at very short notice.

Good Oaks provides the highest level of care for my mother. I cannot rate the company more highly. Everyone goes above and beyond, and I am really grateful for their high standards, humanity and kindness. It helps my mother to continue to lead an independent life, and I am extremely grateful to them for that.

My mother has 2 live-in carers who started in January 2026, enabling her to return home after a spell of respite care in a care home. My mother had used Good Oaks Homecare carers previously for evening care in her home. Good Oaks Homecare put forward 4 potential candidates to my mother for consideration and 2 were interviewed via " social media contacts ". They are both very kind and caring, considerate , and aim to please my mother. Intelligent, and willing to learn about houseplants, cooking ( how my mother likes her fresh food including vegetables) and the cleaning tasks required, for example.
Good Oaks Homecare ensure a smooth changeover between carers with the manager bringing one to my mother's home and collecting the other one at an agreed time.

The manager has always responded promptly to any emails regarding concerns, and spoken to the carer(s) if necessary to rectify any issues raised. Patience and understanding regarding my mother's waking frequency during the night is incredible.

Overall Experience

I am writing this review on the behalf of my wife Ann, who is the recipient of the care provided by GoodOaks, for over 2 years. The staff are generally polite and very capable of carring out the care requirements needed to keep Ann clean, safe and happy. They go to great levels to keep to rota times, sometimes in difficult weather. Generally we are well satisfied with the service they provide.

A friendly, professional and flexible care company. Mum gets on well with the carers and Goodoaks try to ensure she gets continuity with the carers she sees. Goodoaks are also good at contacting me with any issues and concerns around mums physical and mental health.

My father received regular visits from Goodoaks for well over two years. Initially the main task was to help Dad get out for a walk several days a week. Chance meetings with friends whilst out on the golf course would make his day. If the weather wasn't good a trip to the local shops to do some shopping was appreciated.
When dad became less able and needed personal care Goodoaks was quick to respond and provide the attention required.

Throughout Goodoaks provided a friendly, professional, flexible and reliable service with a trusted team of carers that dad grew very fond of.

I can thoroughly recommend this service for all of the above and for giving me and my sister peace of mind that dad was in really good hands. Thank you

The first two weeks we struggled with the care and adjusting to the process. We decided to get live in care and the carer is fantastic and looks after me and my wife brilliantly, we couldn't praise her more. I found the manager very organised and easy to deal with, she does the company a credit and I feel relaxed when she visits.

Having used a different Care Provider before GoodOaks I never fail to be blown away by how GoodOaks are. Their priority above all else is you, the service user. You are the most important to them and this manifests in the way they treat you and take your ideas and feedback on board.

The office and management team are excellent, always available and always supportive. I feel extremely lucky to have GoodOaks as my care provider.

GoodOaks Homecare have always provided an excellent service, both as domiciliary carers and now as live-in carers for my 94-year-old mother, who suffered a fall and haemorrhage five years ago and is now entirely dependent on kind and experienced professional care. The company has provided care to my mother for eight years. The assessments have always been sensitive, thorough and sensible and have adapted to her changing needs. The main words I would use for the company are reliable, experienced and responsive. The quality of care is excellent on all levels, both in terms of client interaction, ie with respect and professional clarity towards the client herself and to her family members and in terms of medical knowledge and a high level of responsibility being taken for her comfort and safety. The carers are extremely patient and kind, as well as being experienced and professionally focused and the management team are careful and responsive. We feel lucky to have discovered this company.
