This is a very good care company all there carers are polite. Will do what you ask them to do. They all come in correct uniform and they carry out there work with a smile on there face. No complaints from me.

I am a widow in my eighties, and my family has arranged for Golden Care to send someone to visit me twice a week. This is a social call, I don't need help at the moment, though I have done when ill in 2025. The helpers who come are all friendly and sociable and I look forward to their visits. It is helpful to get the rota in advance, so I can organise shopping trips, etc. In all I am very satisfied with the service.

Golden services has been really attentive and taken the time to get to know their client. The carers go the extra mile for example bringing in hair curlers from home to make her feel special and cared for. They are responsive in an emergency and seem to care about their clients.

There was never any real issue with the care provided upon which we relied for so long. The team are all really helpful, attentive, and alert to any changes which helped settle our minds and not have to worry about our parents care.
If I say that I look forward to the visits from my carers will give you a good idea of how I feel. They are friendly but also professional and efficient. I am always pleased when I can do things for myself (they make me feel sae). I have never felt that I am losing my dignity. I know that it can't be helped, you have many people to visit but as I am frequently up between 6.30-7.30 it ins't easy to wait until sometimes 10.00 especially as the mornings are getting lighter!

All the carers who visit me are well-trained, friendly and supportive. I enjoy their company, especially as they are the only people I see all day. They also assist me with light chores, and occasionally accompany me on visits to the surgery and the shops.

We both felt that arranging this through a care agency such as yourselves, though slightly expensive for just "cleaning" would be worthwhile.
Fortunately, my mother does not require anything like regular full care but it is a massive reassurance to her to know that she will always receive an age-appropriate, sympathetic and friendly response to her needs whenever she needs to contact your office.
Rather than having to rely on one "cleaner" who may move, be on holiday even unreliable, disorganised - or unsuitable to meet a need beyond just literally "cleaning". As my mother's needs have very gradually increased over the last year, so have your services responded accordingly.
And she has been provided with pleasant and often outstanding attention from the carers assigned to cleaning and general help.

Most are fine but I don't like having my evening meal at 4.15 pm, can you please stop doing it by putting 5 pm to 6 pm etc on my sheet and changing on the carer's phone. Overall, I am satisfied with Golden Services Care.

When rating any care provider the principle measure should be on the standard of care provided, with Golden Services we have always had an excellent professional level of service. They are able to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and the daily changes in the condition/feelings of my mother and in both cases, they have adapted quickly and with no reduction in service levels. Excellent communications, easily contactable at any time and support from the backroom team has made our experience difficult to beat.

This is the first time I have had to experience care from a care home. When I arrived home on October 4th 2022 at lunchtime, from then on for four and a half weeks I had early morning-lunch time calls. I found the service excellent. Staff, management and value for money are very good.
