I have been with Epoch since our doors opened in 2015, but I have been in care for over 10 years. I work full-time in our office as a Care Coordinator, which involves putting care packages together, arranging the rotas for our Independent Living Assistants, and manning the out-of-hours phone once a month. I often go out caring outside of our office hours too, meaning I get to know our clients face to face instead of just over the phone. I enjoy knowing I make a big difference in their lives, ensuring they can stay in their own homes with a little help from Epoch.
I began my career with Epoch in 2016, where I discovered a real passion for my role as a Co-ordinator. After gaining valuable experience, I broadened my skills by working within a local GP practice and later in a children’s home, both of which I found rewarding in different ways. When an opportunity arose to return to Epoch, I knew it was the right time to come back to the organisation where my journey started and where I truly enjoyed the work.
