Goldstar have been caring for my brother for just over a year. The care started when he moved from a care home setting to a more independent way of living, in his own home with 24/7 care. Goldstar have helped to make that transition a huge success. My brother has thrived in a more independent environment, and as well as taking care of his personal and complex dietary needs and overall safety and wellbeing, his carers have gone beyond the basics and helped him with speech and physio exercises which have helped to make improvements to his overall condition, as well as helping him to get out and enjoy more quality of life. They also take wonderful care of his home and all aspects of daily living. The care has been superb, and even when a new carer joins the team, the handover is thorough and diligent. The communication is excellent, and although I live some distance away I really feel confident that my brother is well looked after by the whole team, both carers and management.

The carers are highly trained and very professional and carry out their duties with due diligence .

The staff/carers are kind and patient. Overall, i recommend this agency for care in the client's home.

One staff member in particular was amazing with my mum. Very patient, caring and took the time to try to keep mum entertained and well looked after. She was very friendly and it was like having a member of the family care for mum. Mum was very fond of her and they had built a good relationship.

We used Goldstar to provide care for my wife for 11 months. The carers always arrived on time with a smile and a friendly good morning. We were very happy with the excellent care they provided and confidentiality knowing we could rely on them arriving on time without fail set both our minds at rest. On the 3 occasions my wife went into hospital I felt so assured that just one short phone call to Goldstar and they would arrive on time the following morning after discharge the same carers same time. I would highly recommend Golstar for the excellent care and peace of mind they provided to my wife and myself.

We used a carer provided by Gold care twice over few days. We found the carer to be competent, empathetic and professional. We will use this care agency again and recommend its service to others. the management carer were all very helpful and understood our needs.

Goldstar has provided a very high standard of care for my mother, and I'm satisfied with their performance. We've had a lot of sudden changes, with hospital trips at short notice and having to take my mother to various specialists, and the manager and her team at Goldstar are always able to accommodate, no problem is too much for them. They've also got a great network of carers throughout the area, so with other agencies, I had enquired with, they put us on a waiting list while they searched for local carers, but Goldstar had people ready straight away. For a care service provider that offers flexibility, experience and professionalism, I can't fault Goldstar Care Services. Great job!

We find the Goldstar Care Services easy to approach all staff from Management to Administrators. Service provided by them and their care staff is reliable, professional and their carers adjust to the changing needs of my husband as his disability progresses. The manager of Goldstar listens and discusses any issues that come up and does her best to make adjustments and come to an amicable solution whenever possible.

We have used Goldstar for many years and will continue to do so. The management is well-led and responsive to the ever-changing needs of my father who has dementia. The staff are caring and respectful.

All carers are very well mannered and responsive to enquiries and care needs of my parents. They are helpful and polite and respect the dignity of their clients when providing care. They provide daily updates on how my parents are. The management are also always responsive and happy to help with any queries. We as a family are happy as we know that our parents are in good hands.

I would like to say a big thank you to the Goldstar care services and a special thank you to the carer for all you did for my family. I miss my family terribly and because of COVID haven't been able to visit and help them when they needed me the most due to COVID. So thank you for looking after my Dad for a short period and my family for three weeks. It has to take great strength of character to help people taking care of themselves and to organize their life essentially when you don't know the family. The carer has been our great support as such a difficult time as we lost our Dad to COVID. She was the strength for the family not only making sure they eat and stay hydrated but also prepared meals which she had never made. Carer made sure each visit she would clean and wipe surfaces and provide feedback to assure me how my family is coping during each visit. Thank you again for being there for the family. Great care team with professionalism, empathy, punctuality and experience. In the testing times for our family, Goldstar Care Services Ltd was there for us with tailor-made and focused care. I am particularly impressed with the manager and deputy manager for their prompt and hands-on approach to solving issues that may arise. Both have been very approachable throughout the time I have been using their services for my parents since 2019. My hats off to them and I thank them with my deepest respect.

Goldstar has provided an ideal care package for my mother having discussed her needs in detail beforehand. They have been flexible as the relationship has developed and their communication has been excellent, including a free messaging phone chat group, so that I'm in constant touch with the whole care team. The carers themselves are reliable and hardworking and my mother has taken to all of them. Goldstar started the care within days of our first meeting and I have been extremely pleased with the whole setup so far.

The carer assigned to my father has been exceptional. To give an example, she does not just feed my dad. She ensures that he is sat properly so that his food can be properly digested. My dad spent weeks in the hospital - often unwilling to eat. This carer was the only person who could encourage him to eat. She takes the time to have conversations with my dad, keeping his mind active and treating him with dignity. When this carer came to look after my dad in hospital, the hospital staff have greatly respected the carer. However, she was also strong and assertive in protecting my dad when it was needed. Recently, my dad's friends came to visit him in hospital and they were all so impressed by the Goldstar carer. They asked in shock: "Is this provided on the NHS?!" I had to explain "No, if you want this carer, you have to hire them from Goldstar!" As we requested, the Goldstar carer keeps us fully updated via a mobile chat group - which gives so much peace of mind when we are at work.
